Hi brother Allen, hope you are well. I am so grateful for you and your ministry. I have a question. What constitutes biblical marriage? Does making vows in a church without parent's knowledge, consent or blessing acceptable to God as marriage? Does marriage without Government signing papers consudered as marriage in God's eyes? Please respond. Thanks
You all are the sweetest couple (you all are much younger than I am, that is why I feel it’s ok to use the word, sweetest). Thank you for your ministry.
Allen thank you for doing this series!!! So awesome that you and your wife can come together to help us married and single folk because I can speak for all of us when I say, WE NEED IT!!!😊
You're such a big hypocrite how to do scriptures yet ur wife wears tights pants just like worldy pple. Why can't u put ur house in order. Wear modesty. Ur not fit to teach if u can't follow wat u teach
I’m 49 and have never been married. I’ve gained sooo much knowledge about dating and marriage within the last five years than in my early 20s. I now know it would’ve been disastrous to enter into a marriage prior to now.
You both are the first married couple I’ve heard share real solid advice on how to date as Christians, & how to know if someone is “The One”. I pray this series continues! God bless you both!
So, good! Jennifer point on a man who submits to authority. I didn't think this was that important in my past relationships. It's not worth the frustration and isolation! Nothing worse than a man who can't listen to anyone!
This is so wise! I love how Jennifer said one of the things she was looking for was a man who submits to authority. It’s so important to have accountability and even goes to church. Hearing that made me realize that people who do not congregate themselves is because they may have a submission issue.
Very true, I've had a problem with the way some people translated the Bible for their own personal gain, I realised the reason I was annoyed at that verse was because the people I saw misquoting it were untrustworthy and had self serving traits, it's not God's word that's wrong. A couple of days it came to me, does he submit to God, his word too and listen to advice and guidance of godly people?
I always knew I never wanted children, so marriage was never a priority. I’m single and have a few platonic relationships but I haven’t had the desire to have someone in my life 24/7. Kudos to all who have found God’s chosen partner if marriage is you heart’s desire.
I’m 34 and I’ve heard countless videos from Christians talking about singleness and dating so much so it’s become something I’m done hearing. However I’ve stumbled across this series and it’s really good!
The important thing is that if a wife stays at home to support the family base, it is of the upmost importance that the husband makes her feel valued in that role. Yes especially when children are young it is difficult to maintain a balance between career and home life. As the children get older and more independent the mother will have the opportunity to pursue other interests, hobby’s but of course the first priority is the Lord and the home. Even the woman of Proverbs 31 had her own “business” so to speak. I just know some women who have dedicated so much to build up their families and husbands and when they are older they feel a lack of validation. I know we must look to the Lord for our ultimate validation, but just know appreciation is key for a wife to keep the household running, and running well.
You are a totally delightful, God honoring couple. I wish this video was out 28 years ago when I got married. I like how you have fun together, laugh together, and work through issues together. Your God focused marriage is truly a delight. Richest blessings! :)
Gotta say, it's really reassuring hearing you say you were 40. I just turned 40 a few months ago and am still searching for whomever she is, and it kinda sucks and is frustrating at times, lol. You have moments where you have fight the urge to want to just settle on those lingering nights. Me anyway. Can't speak for anybody else. 🤷🏾♂️
God bless you brother and sister. Thanks for doing this series. I’m learning soooo much. I am 36 and still single. It’s nice to hear that there’s still hope for people up there in their 40’s!!! Praying for God to continue working on my character in order to be ready when/if he blesses me with a wife.
Have no sinful habit in your life. Become the man God wants you to be, before you meet someone. Work with God to break all strongholds, if there are any. Otherwise youll be bring them into a relationship, and they will cause marital problems.
@@livelife5890 just be obedient. It's easier without strongholds however that's not how it works in relationships or marriages. There's room for growth somewhere
Same here. But I am always assured that God is faithful to see me through. My Boaz is on the way. Keep the faith and trust God to see you through. God bless you!
@@livelife5890 im a bit confused on what you mean. we all sin, and sin won't stop once we marry. are you saying that you should never sin before marrying or that you shouldn't have any specific sins that you hold onto?
Please let this series be ongoing and please GO DEEP ! Lol People need to understand marriage is very serious. It’s not some fun idea people partake in. It’s so important that we let God ordain our purpose partners and the prayers can’t stop after marriage they have to increase exponentially. The enemy hates marriage so he will do everything to destroy it ! I love this series and I’ve learnt so much from the both of you. God bless you both
When she said that the reception and wedding is for other people......WOW! I didn't even look at it that way. It makes so much sense how you explained it by also saying don't get caught up in planning the event that you aren't working on building the relationship still. That's a piece yo the puzzle I don't think anyone ever considered that way. For example "bridezillas"

This is awesome you guys!! Allen, I love that you said you were 40 when you got married. I'm older too and dated a lot when I was younger but never felt ready. God's done incredible things in my life over the past several years and it would be great to find a healthy, grounded Christian man. Thanks again!!
This is awesome! A lot of people should benefit from this Parr couple. Because so many people go into the wrong relationship nowadays without understanding the value and necessary prerequisite for success in finding “the one” they operate on emotions but don’t look for key core values in their relationships. For years I’ve dated non Christian men which has caused so much heartache for me. I’ve decided to stop dating altogether, become celibate so that I can focus on my spiritual growth and accumulate clarity on what I really want in life whilst being obedient in my walk. I have to say what a game changer that is for me! I know now what to look for should if God willing in his plan for me to be in a new relationship in the future. A godly man with core values and purpose is a must on my list. Great video Mr. And Mrs. Parr! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
What is that? Bc I hear Christians say that yet it isn't no where to be found in alot of so called Christian marriages. Bible under the arm but carnality ruling life. Why do we have to go into ministry to find a Godly man potentially
Amen! Thats 1st on my list also. Having a godly spouse is the foundation that everything else will flow from. If the man is after the heart of Christ, he is trustworthy to lead - or at least he should be.
Great video! Very practical. Many couples get engaged but are not really "engaged' & don't really discuss important matters prior to or during engagement. Good to see both sides. Can see & feel your love, joy , chemistry AND character. Lol. I am sharing this video with my friends. Thanking God for you & praying for your family.
This video brings me peace, my love recently went home to God, and he had all of these things thatJennifer spoke about. He is the reason, I got saved. I’m so thankful for him and whenever I start dating again I’m so glad I know what to look for. Fly high MLCJ✈️✈️ and I thank God that I was blessed to be able to experience him.
As a 41 year old woman who has dated men I can count with one hand that almost led to marriage...twice, it is delightful to know that my list, which is an interesting mix of Allen and Jennifer's list, is on point. Sometimes I wonder as the years go by if I am being unrealistic in my expectations (especially as two of my exes are married with children) but after listening to you both, I am reaffirmed that I am NOT alone in having godly standards. Thanks guys! (and Jennifer, you were born in my country? yeyyyy! You should come visit soon!)
Consult with people who have been married for 20 plus years and seek advice...It's not easy but I found that serving each other and rid yourselves of all selfishness and put God first worked for us..
You guys look so beautiful together. We can tell how you are radical and unapologetic about our Lord and that you love him wholeheartedly. It is an honor to have genuine Christian people like you guys honoring and glorifying God together. Thank you for being ambassadors for the kingdom. Also, so good to see your wife in more of your videos keep it up. She is literally a ball of sunshine so passionate about the Lord, love her perspective. May God bless your union and ministry even more keep up the great work! 💛 🙏

Praise God for this beautiful union! Thank you guys for sharing your tips!! I like this point about submitting to authority/accountability! I never thought of that!! A Godly man, having a spiritual emotional and physical connection, a man with vision and purpose, a man who submits to authority/accountability, a supportive partner
I don’t have a list anymore. Now I’m older and things that were on my list 20 years ago don’t apply!😰 Now it’s more about so many other things that aren’t even ideal but practical like not still paying on student loans!!!😂😂😂
Yes and education is important for women, I think there is nothing wrong with a woman having a career if the couple themselves can work out the logistics and have an intentional plan.
Which is what one of the main objectives of the feminist movement was. Women have chosen independence over being a helpmeet to a husband. Like it or not a choice was made. Biblically women are not supposed to support themselves. That is the job of the husband.
@@jamooree I’m not in support of the feminist movement. However, unmarried women do not yet have the support of a spouse and must work to provide for themselves.
I'm a female single (been single my whole life - 23 years old), unmarried and taking notes 🖋️🖋️🖋️. But wooow! Marriage seems tough, why do so many people want to get married. I'm inspired, but it seems as though single life is the way to go!! By the way, your wife is gorgeous 🤍
Thank you so much for sharing such wisdom. As a single person, I appreciate it. 🙏🏽💖 And I am the exact same way about gender roles for the exact same reasons as Sister Jennifer. 🤗
I'm a 32 year old single woman (no kids). Your video gives me hope because one day I do want to get married and become a mother. I appreciate your transparency. May God continue to use both of you to teach the masses.
My list changed 10yrs ago. 1st she has to be already a church goer, Reads the Bible on a regular basis and Follows Gods word daily as best as she can. I’m still single.
This was an excellent video for young people who want to get married. The two of you are blessed to have each other and you both are a gorgeous King and Queen. 👍❤👍❤👍❤👍❤👍❤👍❤👍❤

I am Nigeria, i totally got the part of traditional wedding. I from the yoruba part. Its take a year to plan oh. But thank you Jennifer for the info on the list. I learnt with you and Allen.
I don’t think any woman chases a career in hopes that it will impress a man… when you’re single in this day and age you need to have a career to support yourself. I also think that in certain spaces you have more chances to meet certain calibres of men.
all of this married talk making me feel sad because I am decibel I can't walk or talk but I understand everything and what makes me sad is o. K. I am in love with a married man and I have been in love with him since I was 11 I pray so hard for God to give me him. I fall in love with him before he got married but I know it's sin but I can't stop loving him. He is my love.
Your wife is stunning! I've had 2 very serious courtships last 5 years. Both men pursued me. Loved me. Agreed to abstinence, right? It's odd because I still care for them both. I was certain I'd marry. There's a great deal of witchcraft in my blood line & generational curses. I know my siblings hate the idea of me marrying. Having a Godly marriage. You think witchcraft is preventing me from Kingdom marriage?
Hey family! I hope you enjoy this video. If so, be sure to go back and watch part 1 here - th-cam.com/video/7KRZkskXmdQ/w-d-xo.html

A godly man with core values and purpose is a must on my list. Great video Mr. And Mrs. Parr! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
God bless your union. A man of God is at the top of my list. Everything else revolves around that.
@@artforchrist5065Yes! Being equally yoked. Blessings! 🙏🏾☺
Have grace for each other and be kind to each other!
His wife is so pretty! That skin!
She is extremely beautiful, I love you phenomenal woman of God
Oohhh, how I wish this video was longer... I had a blast listening to it. God bless you two! Can't wait for Part 3!
She’s so Classy and you two are so prefect for each other
Keep going with this series, this is so good you guys!,
This video brings me peace, my love recently went home to God, and he had all of these things thatJennifer spoke about. He is the reason, I got saved. I’m so thankful for him and whenever I start dating again I’m so glad I know what to look for. Fly high MLCJ✈️✈️ and I thank God that I was blessed to be able to experience him.
Aww Mr.Parr seem like such a patient and nice husband! Beautiful couple! Thank you for this information! Looking forward to the next video!
Guys, you're a blessing for my generation.
Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Y’all are the best! Really enjoyed watching this! I remember being y’all’s nurse when y’all had your first and second child❤
TRUTHS can't be hidden, can't be changed or converted into lies and deceptions,

THE TRUTH ABOUT ATHEISM, AGNOSTICISM, and RELIGIOUS FANATICISM
Atheists, Agnostics, Christians, JWs, Catholics, SDAs, Mormons, Baptists, Born Agains, Methodists, Pentecostals, Buddhists, Muslims, Hindus, Evangelicals, fanatics of all Religions know the TRUTH about themselves.
They KNOW that they are the great, superior, and powerful human beings on earth who -
1. don't honor and respect the Creator as the Most High and Sovereign God
2. don't submit to the authority of Jesus Christ as the One given by the Creator all authority in heaven and on earth
3. don't believe the teachings of Jesus Christ about the "Kingdom of God" and "Resurrection of the Dead"
THE TRUTH ABOUT THE CREATOR
The loving, kind, and merciful Creator knows the TRUTH about himself.
He KNOWS that he will honor and reward with Eternal Life and existence on earth without sufferings, pains, griefs, sickness, and deaths all lowly, kind, and submissive human beings who submit to the authority of his Christ and believe his teachings about the "Kingdom of God" and "Resurrection of the Dead".
THE TRUTH ABOUT JESUS CHRIST
The loving, kind, and merciful Jesus Christ knows the TRUTH about himself.
He KNOWS that in the Creator's own right time, he will resurrect back to life all lowly, kind, and submissive human beings who died even thousands of years ago like Abel, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, King David, his believers, and many others so they can live and exist again on a safe and peaceful earth and fully enjoy his and the Creator's eternal love, kindness, goodness, generosities, compassions, favors, and blessings for eternity as submissive and obedient citizens of the "Kingdom of God" under his loving and kind rulership, guidance, and protection as the Creator's Chosen King and Ruler of the heavens and the earth.
Beautiful, beautiful couple. Praise the Lord.
Praise God for this beautiful union! Thank you guys for sharing your tips!!
I like this point about submitting to authority/accountability! I never thought of that!! A Godly man, having a spiritual emotional and physical connection, a man with vision and purpose, a man who submits to authority/accountability, a supportive partner
before/during engagement: discussion sex, finances, and communciation. have those intentional convos on the front end!
I don’t have a list anymore. Now I’m older and things that were on my list 20 years ago don’t apply!😰 Now it’s more about so many other things that aren’t even ideal but practical like not still paying on student loans!!!😂😂😂
You guys look like a match in every way
Oohh I didn’t know Jennifer was Nigerian!! So glad to know that she’s Nigerian too.🥰🥰🇳🇬🇳🇬
Many single women are “chasing careers” because we have to support ourselves while we wait for our spouse . And, in this economy, that’s a lot 😅
Ok. We want to be Well established
Hi, thank you for sharing.
This is GOOD!!! And I commend you for the excellence you have with executing these videos. The background, the audio, the lighting is all superb!👏🏼👏🏼
I'm a 32 year old single woman (no kids). Your video gives me hope because one day I do want to get married and become a mother. I appreciate your transparency. May God continue to use both of you to teach the masses.
Hi Siboocy, am 32, young men living in DC, I met the Lord in 2018 . How are you doing please ? Thanks
@@elfidel6755 I'm fine thanks 👍
@@siboocy75 very good to hear that.
@@siboocy75 i appreciate your comment talking about hope ( hope in the Lord, of course) .without hope there is really nothing to live for.
I'm loving this series 🥰
I am watching from Namibia and I am enjoying your authenticity & frankness. Keep teaching us
You two should do more videos together. You're funny.
Great video!! ❤️
Could you do a video on single mothers and dating??
Loooved this!!! Thanks so much. I’ll share with my daughter
Y’all are dropping some divine goodness ✝️🤍🕊️
My list changed 10yrs ago. 1st she has to be already a church goer, Reads the Bible on a regular basis and Follows Gods word daily as best as she can.
I’m still single.
She is beautiful...ya'll are a beautiful couple...May God continue to bless you, your family, and the ministry 🙏

Importance of Discipleship.
Thanks again Precious Parrs for your transparency and togetherness...awesome union and ministry! 🙂
I really needed this, thank you. May God bless you🙏
This Video is a huge Blessing to me. Thanks Pst/Mrs. Allen.🙏
I am Nigeria, i totally got the part of traditional wedding. I from the yoruba part. Its take a year to plan oh. But thank you Jennifer for the info on the list. I learnt with you and Allen.
Thanks for this word guys! Also, so close to *1MIL* 🎉🎉🎉 congrats.
I also love the intentional conversations!
I love them and they are like this also when they teach. They are such a blessing. A brother and sister where you can see the fruits of the Spirit.
You guys are literally beautiful lol I love how you guys compliment eachother ❤️
Good day to you both and keep up the good work. I can't wait until part three is uploaded or posted. Enjoy your day and weekend. Be blessed. 🙂👍🙏🏾
This was soooo good. Keep up these types of videos. They are helpful and God-glorifying. You both are such gifted communicators.
Wow, such a beautiful couple! I enjoyed this video!!💕
Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! God bless both of you. Thank you!
Yey! Been waiting. ❤️❤️❤️ Appreciate this topic so much.
Thank you the Parrs. Love from Nigeria 🌹🥳❤️
Can you post pictures and/or videos and pictures of your Nigerian wedding? I want to see them❤️
Thank You Parr family!
It's true God will direct you to the right man or woman of your life
Very beautiful and encouraging story ❤
I'm patiently waiting on part #3 please☺️
