I got my green dial in January for cheap from Ashford. Wore it here and there since I don’t typically find myself in dress watch situations, until I got a matching perlon for it and it became my main watch for the summer. Love it!
Picked one of these up on Amazon for $380 new. Paired it with a paratrooper strap from CNS watchbands. Super comfortable, super lightweight, super thin. It's perfect. You care less about a second hand over time. This automatic was cheaper than the same model that had quartz movement. If you can find one of these under $500 I say buy it.
Thank you for the ample review. I looked up the ETA 2892-A2 movement and it is a high frequency movement with a sweeping second. It is a little less than 26mm. So, for Hamilton going to a 40mm case is a little too much for me. I love thin watches because I don't like them to be in the way when I try to reach something. I would still want the sweeping second though. 1mm thicker for that would be awesome.
These days, Tissot, Hamilton, and Longines offer some excellent choices for the money. I have always been intrigued by the Hamilton Intra-Matic myself.

Good looking watch. Price and no second hand kill it for me. Thanks for the video!!
Part of the experience of automatic watch is the sweeping second hand. Without the sweeping 2nd hand, no thanks.
Hi I just bought this watch Thinline H38525541, do u also have video ref how to set date & time on it? Thanks 😊
Swatch has enough money they should start production of at least some models
Too big for me. 36mm would be perfect.
