I’ve owned a model 2 for a few months. Been a great bike and love the motor tuning adjustability. Averaging 40-45 miles per charge in the 2 lowest assist modes being used. Tried the Trek fuel exe also and it is a nice bike and a little quieter but overall liked the Giant better.
The model you are featuring here is the Trance X Advanced E+ Elite. Giant also have a model called the Trance X Advanced E+ (without the Elite tag) which is a different model. It is heavier and has a larger battery. Easily confused.
Wow, that is an amazing bike. Way out of my needs/price range but awesome to see. Great review, and that rep you spoke to really was on top of his game. Sometimes when you quiz reps I get the feeling you know more than they do about what they're selling 😁.
Yeah, he did a great job overall. I researched the bike more after and discovered that they sell a range extender battery pack that really unlocks the potential. I should have added details about that before publishing, but I wrote it in the description.
Big mistake, ride with your friends that don’t have an e bike so you get a small battery? Meanwhile other manufactures offer 650- 750 batteries? Was thinking about last years trance now it’s a giant ripoff
I think he should have mentioned that they offer a range extender for this. I suspect it's like the bottle battery packs that Specialized has for their SL models. This way, you can get an 800wh pack if you need it, it just adds a bit more to the cost.
@@ElectricBikeReview 14k is already over the top, so to pay additional for larger capacity and in the story to ride with non e bikes doesn’t make sense, I have an emtb for 6 yrs. and don’t need to ride with reg mtbs, I’m looking to upgrade but not at that price!

Very nice EBike 😉👍.
Nice bike.. :)
Thank god this wasn't around 30 years ago. I'd be bankrupt, or in jail from robbing banks! Great video / review. Fabulous machine.
Wow; $14,000!

talks boring
You audience seems very limited due to all of your high end bike reviews.
If you search his channel he does low prices ebike reviews too. He's at a bike show, so there's a lot of high-end bikes.
14K Sorry I have to thumbs down just for the price, blaa blaa blaa yes I know but it's still a bicycle in the end.
I hear you, but they’re not making these bikes just for the heck of it. There is a market for these bikes, but it’s not you or me.
