Love it. Who wouldn’t want a beautiful Christmas gift like that in their stocking! I’ve recently been using all these small pieces making “Tea Lights and Trinket Trays”. With resin and mica powders they are stunning and great Christmas or anytime gifts. Tea Lights are approx 3” tall and maybe 4” at the widest. Trinket Trays are only an inch tall and 3, 4, 5 to maybe 6 inches being the widest. Blues and Pinks seem to the most popular. Doing one now from an unknown species of wood possibly some sort of seed pod or even cactus. Glad to send you a few pics if you’d like to see how they look. I’m a newbie turner and just love this hobby! 😊
Great use of the scrap piece that still has life. I recently made a couple dozen small "baby" bowls as favors for my daughter's baby shower. Everyone got to pick their favorite, even the ones that I wasn't fond of, found an admirer in the crowd.
Perfect timing. I just pulled some small scraps of black walnut out of my scrap barrel and turned a few tiny bowls. Few scraps are too small to be useful.
Beautiful little piece, thanks for sharing
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the piece. There’s always something new to learn in woodturning! Cheers Allen!
Great Walnut burl mini bowl!
@@brenthagen3049 thank you 🙏

It’s fun 🤩 to turn small stuff and people love them. Thanks
Awesome bowl. I'm the same way. I even hate to scrape up the woodshavings to put in the trash, much less beautiful little pieces like this.
It's such a shame to waste those shavings, especially after all the effort to make them.
GREAT piece. Looks like it came out of the jungle of Borneo as an artifact! !! !!!
Haha yes! Mmmm jungle wood 🪵 sounds like a project. Cheers
Scrap pieces really. How inventive.
Wow, thankyou!
