Leopards are very rare in game reserves and their numbers are closely monitored. A new cub is always a grand event among the staff of a reserve. So it's very important in maintaining the leopard population that the cubs reach adulthood. It should speak for itself that the rangers themselves tried to put off the hyena when they will otherwise always let nature run its course.
@@mastery7901 It's still very unfortunate for the individual hyena, but if it went hungry and died it wouldn't impact the total hyena population nearly as much as if the leopard cub had died. Hyena after walking past cars: Mmm wait a minute, why are those cars still standing there, I thought those guys were watching us! Hehe let me go check. Leopard cub: Damn you humans.
Clever lol
Awwww. Cheering for one carnivore to escape the other carnivore with apparently no sense of irony. Bless your heart.
When your whole squad is alive in the final zone
It’s crazy how powerful the Hyenas nose is because I know there is no way he saw the cub.
Theyve learned when the humans gather in cars and look around they aren’t looking at nothing. Go find it
You're telling me you've never smelled pizza before you saw it? =P
@@dylankelley6389 how am I suppose to find that? Show me dude 😂
At first, I thought the guy was trying to alert the hyenas to the leopard's presence.
Most animals don't eat hyenas
@@AlokSingh-gl6hz im actually happy some animals do
@@AlokSingh-gl6hz No I mean I thought he was trying to get the hyenas to attack the leopard so he could get a good video.
@@Zorak9595 🤣👍
@@AlokSingh-gl6hz Lions do eat hyenas but only rarely
What an evolutionary advantage the leopards are at as compared to the other big cats?
Its the first thing you would want to learn when you're out in the wild and want to sleep without any care in the world.
@Levent.A lions are not excellent and they not natural climbers.
@Levent.A I have seen videos of them climbing and falling down. They can climb just as we can climb. Not like monkeys or leopards.
@Levent.A you don't know anything then. Just watch a couple of videos see it yourself.
@Levent.A Dude, stop embarrassing yourself 🤦♂️
He said that lions CAN climb but are not as adept as leopards. They're not natural climbers.
@Levent.A Peter Parker had it correct. Lions can climb sure, but not well. The adults in particular are rather clumsy climbers compared to leopards and it isn't unknown for them to be injured or killed while doing it.
It is a good thing too, because if lions were better climbers leopard numbers would be much lower.
That cub will have a long life..
Leopard cub is like "stfu human you're blowing my cover!"
You should have left the vehicle running while they passed, the fumes from the exhaust would have helped prevented the hyena from catching the smell, its amazing how the hyena has a great sense of smell
The exaltation of the crew for the leopard is heartwarming.
I’m so glad he *DIDN’T* interfere! As painful as it would have been to witness, it’s called Nature and this is what they do! And thank goodness this wasn’t a Disney cartoon because the Hyenas would have understood every damn word he was shouting 🤦🏿♀️
They DID interfere. didnt you hear the horns going off. If the hyenas dont feed, they starve to death. No difference to shooting the hyenas !
It's wild that those hyenas could smell him from so far and walk right up to him solely based on the leopards scent.
It's really crazy. We have a vide of a lion that smelled down Wild Dogs from a few kilometers!
@@Latestsightings Yeah that's incredible.
Don't forget they notice clues from their surroundings as well. They know those cameras clicking mean something
The leopard on tree top sharpening his claws be like: snitches will get stitches
Man, next to some Hyenas: “There’s a Leopard Cub in that bush over there!!”
*[Leopard Cub will remember that]*
Tells mom about the loud mouthed idiot later.
Mom: “Tonight..heh heh heh.”
Ok I read the intro I'm so HAPPY the cub's mother was just out hunting, the cub knows and is usually told by it's mother to stay close to bushes and trees for safety 😇
that's the best leopard escape iv ever seen
It still amazes me how hyenas and lions don't simply jump in the vehicles and eat the people. It's literally a buffet served on an aluminum platter.
I think there is a limit to how high they can jump.
I’m so glad he go away & had the ability to climb a tree! He definitely didn’t deserve to die. He stayed still and kept himself down the whole time. And the hyena still noticed him.
That hyena was trippin. I was like, just like it go Mr Hyena
Awesome 👏 video of the month! Good for the baby 🐆 !!
Everything was fine until that wind changed. Suddenly the cub’s downwind and those hyenas took a sharp about-face.
I love this video. Lots of imotions were running with that baby leopard.
I dont think they should interfere with nature. That horn was unnecessary
@@Nakkisar ah ok so that was the context. I stand corrected if this is true.
@@mastery7901 It's still very unfortunate for the individual hyena, but if it went hungry and died it wouldn't impact the total hyena population nearly as much as if the leopard cub had died. The game reserves are ultimately a sanctuary for the preservation of natural biodiversity, and sometimes compromises have to be made to maintain that biodiversity.
1:53 Hyena pretending to go somewhere else and then suddenly change the way
It's great to see the cub climbing the tree
They're really clapping like a NASA rocket was launched...well I'd probably clap too.
The cub looked like a rocket by how fast it launched into the tree 😂
stop encouraging bad behavior.
@@thomasneal9291 ?
Why are you guys clapping? WTF. Choosing favorites is weird behavior. Nobody ever claps when hyenas or hyenas cubs escape
Not a fair world
These people clapping when leopard gets on the tree made me laugh.
Same here 😂
Same😂
They clapped probably because they know the leopard is a protected and an endangered species.
Why? They were happy he made it. Why was it funny?
@@278steve Protected yes, but not endangered. Leopards are doing fairly well compared to many other species. You may be thinking of the cheetah which has much lower population densities across Africa.
Very nice video ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The hyena was like: You said a leopard was in that bush? Good looking out homie 👊🏽
Lol 🤣
Very good..the cub was very fast
It looks like the hyena picked up his scent and came back to investigate, amazing speed and agility to get away.
If a hyena see you pointing, she will know there is something there. Hyenas are truly intelligent.
Awww, soo cute. I almost shed tears of joy for the little one, but am still recovering from memories of clips with leopards hunting down some sweet adorable pet dogs. My heart was totally broken that day 😭😭😭😭😭. But all the same well done little one. I am not a fan of hyenas
No need to judge one species for doing what it has to so it can survive.
@@the_gaming_hyena24 this is not about judgement. This is me as a human feeling sorry for those dogs. Its just emotions which is normal for anyone to experience
@@HappyBirthdayGreetings oh no, it’s not that. That’s just the circle of life, and I always feel horrible whenever an animal is killed. I agree with you on that one. It’s just that you kind of insulted us hyenas at the end :(
@@HappyBirthdayGreetings okay yeah, I just looked up a video of a leopard hunting a dog. I am now heartbroken.
@@the_gaming_hyena24 lol. Sorry about the hyena comment. I admit i kind of judged them unfairly, but that is life.
Plot twist: Hyenas knew human's language and driver straight up snitched about cub to them.
the wind was blowing towards the camera from the direction of that leopard cub, as soon as hyena reached the point opposite to the cub where the wind was blowing from he pict up the scent of a leopard cub, that is one extraordinary sense of smell hyenas are gifted by God.
No no no no no no no no no yes yes yes hahaahahahahahaha I’m cracking up
Wow Thanks for the video,,,, and appreciated your kind heart
Leopard cub climbs up in the tree
Tourists : yelling and cheering
Cub : thank you people
@Levent.A its not an adult, just a mature cub
I really don't like how much the people tried to distract the hyenas. The cardinal rule is to never interfere with nature.
Great footage 🔥
