@Ryan SS2 The music starts too soon. It should begin at the start of Goku's speech, but the scene isn't really long enough for that. The linchpin of the scene is Gohan gasping at Goku telling him that he's stronger, which is when the song should kick into its high point, but there's not enough room before that to fit the first part of the song. It's just not a good scene time-wise for it to fit anyway other than just tossed in.
I love how good gokus speech is, even if its partially a joke. The idea of "if you fail, everyone, including and most importantly you dies, and you don't deserve that" is so good

I'm glad they didn't. This song gives you a feeling of hope while the orchestra remix of Day of Fate they used made it feel more like a last stand that they might not survive. I just don't think it works as well

Okay real talk: The timing of the music matches almost perfectly to certain moments, like when Gohan fires his beam. Kaiser, did you time the entire scene after that song on purpose? HMMMMMM?!
The TH-camr "The Cartoon Cypher" did a video on that a year ago, where he assumed, that most action scenes follow a very similar pattern and that that is why "You say Run" can be well matched to them, with little edits. Just google "Why You Say Run Goes With Everything". I found it pretty well made.
Tbh i disagree, I like the scene but the music doesn't go as well with the video as it should. The climax of the song is at 2:45 is when the beam should've been fired, thats more similar to how the other you say run with this kamehameha goes. Whilst the scene was well made I expected TFS to match the final bout with the climax of the song, a little bit disappointed

What's great about the TFS Android Saga is that it turns from a parody and more into a comedic retelling. Which, yes, is basically what a parody is but the Android Saga takes itself somewhat seriously. There are points of real tension and terror. One of my favorites being: "How... How many people!?" "... Enough" The Frieza Saga, while still amazing and hilarious, plays everything for laughs. Frieza never gets his legitemetly threatening moment (please correct me if I'm wrong) and even the Super Saiyan transformation is played for laughs. Android Saga though has something special. It takes time for it's strong moments like Gohan's transformation and it takes plenty of established jokes and turns them into somewhat serious moments. In the finale alone there was "Bye son." "Vegeta no!" "Vegeta yes!" and of course "Plant your feet. Grit your teeth. AND EAT. THAT. HORSE!!!" which of course is a ridiculous line but it's delivery and the moment it's used make it sound inspirational and triumphent. God I love you guys
Echo I had to look it up because I forgot about it but yeah “Give me some ideas” is a really good villain line that’s both funny and threatening. On par with “Feel free to pray to your god! But, spoilers: I won’t be listening.”

I wasn't happy with Gohan's introduction, I thought he was going to be some fill in for Goku. However, after all of Gohan's emotional and physical development throughout the series I welcomed him. I wanted Gohan to take the lead, I wanted his potential to be explored.

No, but he edited it to match up, he could have started the song at any time, but he chose to start it at a specific moment
The TH-camr "The Cartoon Cypher" did a video on that a year ago, where he assumed, that most action scenes follow a very similar pattern and that that is why "You say Run" can be well matched to them, with little edits.
Just google "Why You Say Run Goes With Everything". I found it pretty well made.
Tbh i disagree, I like the scene but the music doesn't go as well with the video as it should. The climax of the song is at 2:45 is when the beam should've been fired, thats more similar to how the other you say run with this kamehameha goes. Whilst the scene was well made I expected TFS to match the final bout with the climax of the song, a little bit disappointed

What's great about the TFS Android Saga is that it turns from a parody and more into a comedic retelling. Which, yes, is basically what a parody is but the Android Saga takes itself somewhat seriously. There are points of real tension and terror. One of my favorites being: "How... How many people!?" "... Enough"
The Frieza Saga, while still amazing and hilarious, plays everything for laughs. Frieza never gets his legitemetly threatening moment (please correct me if I'm wrong) and even the Super Saiyan transformation is played for laughs. Android Saga though has something special. It takes time for it's strong moments like Gohan's transformation and it takes plenty of established jokes and turns them into somewhat serious moments. In the finale alone there was "Bye son." "Vegeta no!" "Vegeta yes!" and of course "Plant your feet. Grit your teeth. AND EAT. THAT. HORSE!!!" which of course is a ridiculous line but it's delivery and the moment it's used make it sound inspirational and triumphent. God I love you guys

'"give me some ideas"' and also when freeza appeared after the spirit bomb
Echo I had to look it up because I forgot about it but yeah “Give me some ideas” is a really good villain line that’s both funny and threatening. On par with “Feel free to pray to your god! But, spoilers: I won’t be listening.”

Can we point out just how well written gokus speech to gohan actually was? It actually felt uplifting and like a speech that a good father would say to his son. It radiated love and care.. and thats appreciated

Cell was a serious villain in DBZA sometimes, and I love that.
He was honestly terrifying in DBZA because you could never tell when he'd flip between joking and making innuendos to dropping the creepiest line and walloping the heroes or vice versa. Personal favorite of mine was his introduction

However, after all of Gohan's emotional and physical development throughout the series I welcomed him. I wanted Gohan to take the lead, I wanted his potential to be explored.
