I’m also really impressed with the electrical / battery / solar panel system. So dang cool and professionally done with read out gauges and wiring. Super super cool!!
This is exactly what I needed to see. I enjoyed seeing the process that you both went through to come up with your design, and then the actual build itself. So cool that you have a community of people willing to lend you a hand as well. Thanks again for putting this on film.
Hi Matt. Great work. My Canopy camper is ordered, I would like to do the same built but am based in Cape town - a bit far. Maybe Riaan and Juan can make a plan so that we can do this remotely? My Hilux will be the xtra cab - so it would be bigger at the back area.
what a great upgrading build, looks like a perfect , efficient, and beautiful build. cant wait for the next steps into your vision of a "perfect" on and off road compact expedition R/V pick-up truck conversion.
Matt, that was a seriously well thought out and well executed build! I have watched a lot of these types of videos, and there are a few guys who have been doing this a lot longer than you, who could learn something from how you have thoughts this out and the quality of your build.Well done!
Really impressed with your setup, its simple and looks very comfortable. cant wait to see the suspension set up. I would like a breakdown of the cost. Well done and wish you many happy adventures.
WOW, absolute wow build, Matt you guys must be super chuffed. How cool is that scanner system to create an extremely tight-fit design, utilizing every possible millimeter of space. I would be extremely interested in the added weight of the complete build, camper included. I know you guys will enjoy this new setup without end, well done!!! Always love your videos 👌👌👌
Cool setup .build my canopy with 40 x 40 bosch profile .it so user friendly. If you want to add something just drop in a t nut in to the Grove ...no holes to be drilled .bussy with clam cell tent as my next project. Can't wait to see the reviews on the kitchen after the next trip😎🍻
What a fantastic video. i am interested to know whether the canopy camper is water tight. My wife and i have done some river crossings in Botswana. I am concerned that if water gets in the wooden floor could rot from damp.
Really cool build. Great attention to detail. Only issue with the canopy locks is when something moves in the drawer on a bad road right up to the lock it might not open.
Hi Matt. Is it possible to reach inside the fridge/freezer from the outside otherwise you need to get in and out everytime needing something inside the fridge when cooking outside? Is that the 90L NL fridge/freezer?
Why not put solar panels on the side doors on the canopy, will put in energy during travel, parking and when you open them they will perform better. Or even use the mobile panels? 2 shorter sets?
How do you deal with dust intrusion into the canopy? I appreciate there are some rubber seals around the wings and the rear door but is that enough when the whole rig/canopy rattles and twists
It's been an absolute pleasure working with you on this project Matt.
this series is becoming quite incredible, can see this catching on with many people online for similar setup
I love the workmanship done on the corner bits of that Bamboo Tops.
I’m also really impressed with the electrical / battery / solar panel system. So dang cool and professionally done with read out gauges and wiring.

Looks absolutely amazing Matt! I didn't realize that the extrusion fittings were so strong and rigid. Great job!
Could this turn into business oportunity?

Have you any ideas on how to install some form of airconditioner for the sleeping area.
Very nice. Have you kept a tally on added weight just for interest sake?
Really cool build. Great attention to detail. Only issue with the canopy locks is when something moves in the drawer on a bad road right up to the lock it might not open.
I thought of that, but so far haven’t had any issues🤞
I am interested in any ideas for the hot water. We bought the shower awning and are looking to instal a geyser.
Very Very nice
One question the fridge and battery inverter are sealed of is the air flow ok
They aren’t really sealed off, there’s plenty of space around the inverter, and the fridge has a few cm between itself and the frame.
Can you say where from is that good looking mini t-handle socket tool please, seen at 8:47?
Hi Matt. Is it possible to reach inside the fridge/freezer from the outside otherwise you need to get in and out everytime needing something inside the fridge when cooking outside? Is that the 90L NL fridge/freezer?
The only question is how do I order this for my tundra alucab family camper.
Yaaaa the WOOD GUY knows his story, Does he do domestic kitchen cubboards?
He does😁

No dust gets in, it is properly sealed now that the tailgate is gone.
@@mattdubber Tnx - do you have a video on this?
Job well done!👌🏻
Is it possible to get the contact details of Juan and Riaan?
My contact details are on the video where Matt features my kitchen work and also on my FB page. Link in the video description. Regards Juan
