Hi Everyone! The links to everything that I’m selling is in the video description. Note that this is South Africa only, for obvious reasons. Hopefully it can all be given a new life with many more adventures🙌🏻
Finally we get to hear Nicole! You two make a great travelling duo! Can't wait for the next chapter! Keep it up! You make the best travel videos in SA!
You cook bacon like i do. It is funny to laugh at how many people go thru the pain of cooking it in full strip then crumble it to add to the dish when it takes 4 times longer to cook that way. It is nice to watch smart people. thx for all the adventures. I hope the new setup works out even better.
I miss my home. Thank you for reminding me how beautiful it is....I am glad to see the beautiful women in your life..Thank you for your videos.... I come from PE. Its allot of reasons for the poor conditions.....i spend my childhood in Gamtoos
Oh my soul! We were literally debating if the Bloukrans pass was open and drivable on the EC side just last week!! I said to my husband, I hope you take a trip that side so we can see and here you post a video!!! Telepathy!! Thanks so much from us here in the WC who want to drive it, but were unsure of the conditions. 😊
Hi Matt, Thank you very much for your interesting videos... We are planning our Namibia trip and have used your "Two Legends" journey as inspiration. Welcome to the "Alu Cab Canopy Camper Family" We have had our for almost two years. We found it best to travel with it and make the changes as we go a long, once we found out what worked for us and what not. The National Luna Power Distribution box, which is basically the front (Business end) of your battery box fits perfectly next to the rear door, on the inside of the canopy camper.
I drove past that braai spot two weeks ago and was saying to my other half we need to come back to braai here with the doggo! Shot for the epic videos!
Thanks for showing R102. Every time we pass it on the N2 I’ve wondered about it and why it’s closed. It is the joke on the EC side - you know immediately when you’ve crossed over from EC to WC 😁. We’ll be driving through that area in 2 weeks time 🤔
Hi Matt! Thank you for all the videos you passing on as you conquering the roads and passes of South Africa and our neighbouring countries. I come to the understanding that you just love the Baviaans Kloof routs. I recently did the gravel road starting outside of Ladysmith and driving through Van Wyks Dorp and through Herbertsdale to Hartebos. I want to ask you, have you ever driven the road (almost 90% mountain drives) between Van Wyks Dorp and Herbertsdale? It's a hell- of- a-road to say the least! I haven't done the Baviaans Kloof road, but what I saw on videos and experience of some of my friends, It's much easier comparing to Van Wyks Dorp to Herbertsdale. I want to hear your reply on this please! I have done this specific trip with my Land Rover Discovery Sport towing an Echo 3 Off Roader, all fully loaded. Regards Braam vd Westhuizen from Rawsonville.
good day matt, i grew up in the baviaan kloof area in the 50's/60's, our farm was sold and have been trying to get back to take one last look. do you perhaps know who i can contact to get permission from? our farm is now part of a wilderness area, farms name was Guerna many thanks john
Hi Mat As always excellent video leading us to a very special place. Is it possible to do the trip you just described with an off-road caravan (e.g. Infanta Inkulu 3)?
Thanks for this enjoyable episode. I can’t wait to see your new set-up. I would love a camera equipment video - or can you just tell me what camera you use - I think I once saw that it was a Canon but can’t be sure. I also use a camcorder - a Canon prosumer - and thought I was the only one. Lastly, please can you clarify the name of the Baviaanskloof camp site - I think I heard it as Krugersdorp or something like that.
I would probably want to have one custom built that can be accessed from both the inside and the outside. My plan is to get the bare bones basic unit and slowly figure out how I want to build it up inside👌🏻 I’m looking forward to the project.
@@mattdubber we have a canopy camper and we did do a custom fit for the kitchen cupboard, but I saw they do have pre-maid units now. Yes, the nice part is deciding what you want to do with the inside. Each one differs. Enjoy the project. Looking forward to seeing the end result

I’ve stayed in that camp site, it’s a wonderful hike up to a large waterfall.

Hi Steve, I had a Canon XF400 but it broke. I’m now using a Sony Z90 and Sony a7R3. The camp is called “Krugerskop Kloof”
@@mattdubber thanks for the info. Take care and looking forward to the next one.
Have you considered the Alu-Cab Shadow Awn as an option? It should integrate well with their Canopy Camper...
Yes, but I already have 2 awnings so no point spending the money on a third!
How does it work going through the kloof with your do?
Online is shows no dogs.
Thanks for sharing! I spotted that you are a fellow Aeropress user! 🙂
I sure am🙌🏻
Matt how much do you want for the draw system.
Hey Matt,
Exited to see the new setup!
Are you going to be selling the RTT?
No, it is going back to Eezi Awn
The canopy camper does have a built in kitchen cupboard available

What I would love to know is how you are doing in South Africa and how you plan to make it into the future given all the horrors we hear about there.
Doing great here, and wouldn’t choose to move!
Toyota should support your channel too 😊
I wish!
Matt we are interested in the kitchen slider. Marius @2wrinkled
That has to be sold with the canopy, since the mount for it is attached to the canopy itself.
