I've travelled to a secret warehouse in the middle of the English countryside to check out a new concept car by one the most iconic British carmakers: Lotus.
With robotic haptic feedback and doors like you've never seen before, their new Theory 1 concept car is unlike anything even I have seen before and today I even get to be one of the first people in the world to drive it!

You like to watch the videos in 1080p????
thank you for making video about this, you are my biggest motivation for making car video
This is the first electric car which I really like, the shape, design, concept, everything is what a young person would admire. even the doors, this system is sick.
Lol. Even old people would admire this car. Consider it multi-generational admiration.
I'll take 2, in case one breaks down.
🎉
@@thebob01 fr such a w car
@@funnylikethat0415 true
Lotus should name this car as: "Lotus Euphoria"
Not bad
-Honey! I broke the glass window in the car! -Which one? -The whole one :-))))))
Honey! I had a little fender-bender that clipped just the right front end. Insurance: total the car.
Mrs Jane Davis,thank you!
out of all the concept cars I've seen recently i gotta say that this is up there
Hey @techiejak9808 you can also check out car review content and will see what you will say after are you up for the challenge
It's super cool except for how hard it is to enter and exit as the driver. Everything else is motorized. They should put the driver seat on a sling that moves towards the outside to let the driver enter it with ease. Just a thought.
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL FUTURE CAR
Car is certainly sick af, anyone else seeing similarities in the front end of this and the Bugatti Centodieci, that really jumped out to me
I think its something in their concept of design. Emeya also has this centodieci vibe, even stronger.
Mrs Jane Davis,thank you!
Futuristic, stylish & powerful. Nice Lotus.
Yes @ozinchanel it a powerful car
Mrs Jane Davis,thank you!
This is the new Lotusborghini 🤣🔥
Lotusghini sounds better and easier.
More like a combination of Lamborghini (general body shape) and McLaren (carbon chassis, lift doors, central driver's position). They added some of their own ideas and electric drive. Overall it came out great, the car looks very nice. I especially like the wheels, which are often just ugly in BEVs, here they are great.
@@bartomiejmiara8975LamboLaren or McLotus 😂
@@vinny7114 I agree
@@bartomiejmiara8975 tell me about it
Lotus killed it with this one. Its such an awesome concept and not too futuristic where it gets weird. So so well done
Love how you never fail to keep it real in every video.
The grass-hopper doors are absolutely stunning.
Wow, this design is out of this world!
Absolutely stunning. Looks like it just came off the set of the final Westworld series.
no joke David we if you are a car enthusiast you can also watch our car reviews
The car is insane bruh❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is by far the best electronic technological jewel of the future I have ever drooled over. Yes, I want to live with and drive one of these babies forever. Lotus is committed to building the ultimate best, I thank you for this entry.
The doors would be cool if they didn't take so long to open. But pretty sick. Not gonna lie.
Like 14 seconds
Cool design but wtf
Mrs Jane Davis,thank you!
The front graphic is very reminiscent of the Faraday future FF01 concept.
Beutiful peace of engeenering. Totaly unique.
You work for 40yrs to have $1m in your retirement, Meanwhile some people are putting just $10k in a meme coin for just few months and now they are multi millionaires. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life
Thanks for continuing updates I'd rather trade the stock market as it's more profitable. I make an average of $34,500 per week even though I barely trade myself.
I'm favoured financially, Thank you Jesus $32,000 weekly profit regardless of how bad it gets on the economy.
How

Thanks to Mrs Jane Davis.

When Lotus have access to chinese tech and money
💪🇨🇳
There is no telling what they can do
Mrs Jane Davis,thank you!
REALLY digging the resurgence of analog tech. Especially as a hardcore Lotus fan.
Damn this is gorgeous. Great job Lotus. Please bring some unique features to production (if not all of it!)
Its gorgeous
It looks like a car James Bond would drive 50 years from now...
From down under brains or What to apprentice????
Bring back Blondie
"Laser wire" is possibly fibre-optic cable...
where's Supercar Blondie herself? P.S. car components shouldn't be exposed to the outside that anyone can touch, people will vandalize it
How much? I have a spare kidney in me 😅😅😅
You would need many 😂
@@capichowthere was actually someone with a super rare condition where he could grow a kidney back fully within a month, he had to donate a kidney, and then later realized he had that condition. He then sold about 50 in Span of 6 Years and then died in a car crash
@@justinshoats6989 that's me 😁
@@capichow I would do anything to get inside this car
@@justinshoats6989Stop believing idiotic Tik-tok videos 😂.
I like the 1st person view more than the 3rd overall.
I really don't understand how some people can hate the Theory 1
😂😂😂 the front bumper say it all well done A.i design
I am an inventor and I have the idea of a car that is very wonderful and has options that such a car is not like this. Is there any investment that they want to build this car?
This is so sick!!
Very cool design, they nailed the aesthetics
This car will cost you about $ 95.4
those doors are very funky - but, as soon as you open the, wouldn't rain water just run off the roof and straight onto your lap
My kids would find a way to spill cheerios into those door hinges.
All these fancy cars with upwards opening doors lead me to one question: HOW do you get out IF the car ends up on its roof? This situation is NEVER touched on in this type of video. Seems to me to be a rather important matter.
Also, how are you meant to get into it if you happen to be wearing a skirt or dress?
We're glad you liked our technology on the seats and steering wheel!
The little seat and steering wheel feature seems like the same tech that's already in cars that offer lumbar support. It's just that you can see it because of the tight material.
Great car. Now plz turn it into mass produce production car.
It will never happen.
@@fenrirslip Waaaaaaaaaa. -Every concept lovers 2024
Mrs Jane Davis,thank you!
The first electric car that I would be interested in buying. I do hope that it becomes a production car in the very near future.
Press it more
Looks a little uncomfortable the 3d print head rest 😞
If each 3d printed rod was cased/wrapped with leather
the 3d printed headrest would of been better
A production one would have a skin over it, otherwise it would soon get full of dust and fluff and be minging...it's a showcar left exposed to show what is going on inside
Love the car, but I am amazed how "experts" in the industry still think Lidar is the way forward
Do you really just want cameras? Insane. Having an actual 3d scan of the environment is way more safe.
@@Dan-Simms Lidar is a great technology for docking capsule to the ISS, for driving we humans rely on our eye sight and it works fine. What's dangerous in driving is our inability to stay focus all the time and see our blind spots
The direction of Lotus that we’re all want to see & witnessed.
I could already imagine if there are like an emergency and the door needs to take mins to open and close. Diarrhea for an example 😂😂😂
👋 hey 👋 supercarblondie 😊
hey
Absolutely love it when car designers push the possibilities and create new ideas!!
Unlike Kia/Hyundai who just copy other cars and don't bring any new innovation.
This is an incredible innovation
I don't know if this comment ever catches your attention,
but I would really recommend Ms. Alex visiting the Gedee car museum if u ever visit India. It's wonderful there, with lots of antique cars from over the world. I had once been here and it had been a great experience. I believe even u would appreciate it. It might not be very big, still is one of the great yet under rated tourist attractions in Coimbatore of India.
A beautiful place, Coimbatore, itself is..
Btw, great video..😊
I agree there was a time i was there with my dad and is one thing that I really loved it I second you @xone5177 for ms alex to come to the museum
I don’t get why people say the term “futureristic” while the car has already been made. I mean it’s right there.
You showed the google maps location of the secret warehouse
That new Lotus is really cool
What happens with a roll-over? Grasshopper gets squashed and you don't get out?
Sergi always reviews the best futuristic cars! Awesome energy, bro! 🙌
man that's dope, very Peugeot Onyx which is a very good thing.
The Chinese is really killing it... nice car!
P.S. Lotus is owned by Chinese company Geely.
Wow what a beautiful concept car !
Wowwwwwww stunning, i love it. Looks sick as f**k, the shape is perfect and these doors are insane. That should definitely go into production, not that i'll ever be able to afford one but hey, well done to Lotus on this one.
Sickest Car Ever!
Koenigsegg Called, they want their doors back.
That car is crazy! Only thing the is the doors take too long to open what if I gotta hurry & pee 😂
what if the question of the hour
The cockpit can fit one sugar daddy and two gold digger comfortably 😎
Wow I'm amazed I want it. I especially love the rear view cameras on the see through glass
those seats look miserably uncomfortable they gotta do something with that
the thing about Lotus is: they don't like to design big veicles
Big is the American way, wasteful arrogant and usually tasteless. Look what they did with the pretty AC Ace sports car, turned it into a fat over engined nightmare called the 'Cobra'
Looks amazing! But the problem with these car companies, aside of Ferrari perhaps, is that when they release a new production car, it's usually, too far and as not radical than any of their concept cars. Right? 😊
Translated by Google:
It looks like it was taken straight from an Asphalt game. 🤣
Feels like the Engineer juggernaut from Prometheus left us a gift.
That sound is a little off
“The eco inside “
because it’s Like plastic
No insulators
Very cool, but I wouldn't wana open those doors on a windy day.
🤣🤣why chriscottell
@@AutoAdventuresKE cos if the wind hits it from front or bk, will it put too much stress on the door mechanism and damage it?
Great concept. Hope to see a new Elise v soon, but it have to be small, light, simple, convertible, fast & relatively cheap. Why don’t they just make the Elise again?!!
Dude!!! U r so lucky to review this Beauty Lotus❤
Why did they use that arm for the doors it looks like they tried to make suicide koeningsegg doors
As a driver, it seems you'd be stepping on some people to get out unless they get out first.
Some cool ideas that I'm sure we'll see soon however.... The concept version sounds like an oversized cheesy plastic remote control car.
Lotus theory concept's ala expo automobile 2024-25's pavilion
This could be the replacement to the Emira
That would be the most beautiful car on the market. Don't change it and make it.
It will never come to fruition, especially since Lotus has been having financial troubles in recent years, and the crash of that Evija prototype at Goodwood didn't do the brand any favors.
Bring back the original supercar Blondie
why say that bro what has changed
@@AutoAdventuresKE she is a far better presenter in my opinion
Lots of discussion about how the car looks but not very much about the unseen mechanical aspects of the vehicle. It's as if no one seems to be very interested in the critical aspects of past Lotus Cars such as cars road handling and stability, steering resposiveness, vehicle weight, or driver comfort over rough roadways. I''m not saying it's not and interesting design per se but I seems to recall similar school design exercises 55 yers ago at the Art Center School in Pasadena, Calif.
@@evanschwartz3030 this is irrelevant. You can put there whatever you want, stiff suspension... Done, comfy... Done. Bigger battery, smaller, whatever.
Mrs Jane Davis,so long and thanks for all the shoes!
I like the exterior design.
Anybody else recognize the DDE theme in the intro? Absolutely legendary!
I reminds me like Lotus Europa S1.This is awesome! so cool design.
door opening - closed.... you fall asleep while doing it!!

Gorgeous. 😍🔥🔥🔥 Reminds me of DangerMouse's car
I was hoping to get some information on the drivetrain and battery size.
WOW, THIS ONE IS TRULY AWESOME!
Woooooow love it ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
F**king love the design of the car. Amazing work.
thanks for that bro
Mrs Jane Davis,thank you!
this has to be in the next bond film.
I love this car When can we buy it. I love the three-seater concept it reminds me of Battlestar Galactica Cylon Raider. By your Command. The Pop up Lidar looks like a laser cannon. The grasshopper doors are so cool but need to work faster. Binaural audio concept is amazing!
you have been around for long no doubt or you just love car but either way i agree with you Lymansn
I know a guy who bought this car few daus ago and he's still waiting for the doors to fully open .
It's almost anmodified SF90
Okay… That is a very pretty supercar.
Won't look anything like this. Reminds me of the ft86 CONCEPT THAT LOOKED familiar and ended up taking a different turn
Lotus is coooking these days 🔥❤🔥
I pray even 60% of this design becomes reality.
It won't lotus already said this isn't intended for series production. It's just a design study using the emera drivetrain&the evija pack. 👍🏻
If it was though, the evija and emira we're both about 80-90% similar to the prototypes shown pre production. 🤔
I don't see any blondie there. I wonder what it's like to steer with this handlebar
