Update for anyone having the same issue : Save a project to the original SC Card shipped with the Maschine+, paste all the folder (incl the hidden ones) on your computer. Format the new SD card in the Maschine+ then plug it into your computer and paste the whole stuff you saved before. Worked for me (it didn't work without hidden folder for me)
Nah I tried a lot of that stuff and in the end they shipped a replacement to me. Even sent me an additional one by mistake which I sent back of course. The one I have now is working fine with no issues and I didn’t have to do all the file acrobatics, it just worked from the get go

It's a very silly bug I can't believe NI's support still hasn't identified it. It's not a hardware issue I had the same issue. It's because the firmware can't install any expansion if you didn't create the same folder structure inside the sd card as on the sd that shipped with it. I was reading the forums seeing everyone getting replaced their unit but then I just created the folders as in the original and it just worked like a charm.
Bro where was this info when I needed it most? 😩 I tried copying the exact file structure too, many times, but was getting sd card error when trying to save new projects I was creating from the expansions on the sd. Did that happen to you too or did it just work?
@@whereisko I formatted the new sd, then I replicated just the folder structure from my original SD card. Before doing that it was refusing to write even the expansions I wanted to install on it. I was about to open a ticket to send it for repair before I try this as I was reading in the forums plenty of people sending their units for repair for that issue. The firmware was trying to write on an un existing folder then failed. It wasn’t smart enough to detect the absence of the folder and create it, nor there is any initial folder structure being created during the format or first use of an SD.
