Enciclopédia Lusa Videojogos (www.videojogos.enciclopedialusa.com) Introdução do jogo Warhammer - Mark of Chaos - Battle March (Xbox 360) - 2008 Também disponível para: PC Windows
The soldiers of the Empire have balls of titanium, for they don't have the best equipment or aren't the strongest in the setting but they fight on none the less the forces of evil in this world.
Walking away, considering how apparently the chaos warriors move as fast as turtles since they can't catch up to somebody dragging someone two times their weight..
I actually think the game was alright (kind of) All it needed was more work on the story, gameplay and other such features. The sad thing is, it could've been an excellent game.
It's a patrol not a full blown army. The empire doesn't rely on brute strength like the Orks or Chaos do, they actually have a tactical mind and outsmart them.
As a state trooper of The Empire you can hold your own against and Chaos marauder or beastmen. Maybe take down a Chaos warrior if you work together. But when you get surrounded on all sides by bloodthirsty warriors of Khorne lead by a Greater Daemon.......... DEATH AND GLORY BOYS!!!!
Surrounded by turtles. Just have the warrior priest knock one or two out and run through. Well, until the bloodthrister showed up, but it still works better than charging into melee.
Loïc Joris In the game, there was no bloodthirster, but there was a demon prince of khorne. I should imagine that was what they wanted to depict in the intro.
That priest was kill, man. Didn't you pay attention to the end quote? It cut away just to show he was dying, overwhelmed, but at least still had faith, but in the end, realized that there is no escape.
Au Contraire, It comes down to the luck of the dice - Especially when a bloodthirster stares down across the battlefield against any ranged units and realises the amount of damage he will have to soak up before he can even get into combat with a priest. a full barrage of empire artillary would have old goat-horns on the run.
what's the point in employing so much cannon fodder? In a world like the warhammer world, you definetly need soldiers who know what they are doing and not just die instantly.
The Empire do have soldiers who know what they're doing, they just weren't there, and there weren't enough ordinary troops to be effective. They also didn't have any cannons.
***** Yeah and that's the point. Why even employ a bunch of peasants with plastic on them if you are going to send them in a battle against superhuman demonworshipping monstervikings? It makes no sense. Cannon fodder is just a word you use for soldiers who might as well be put in the cannons and fired at the enemy.
The reason there are so many of these ordinary guys is to take on the thousandandone other forces that are attacking the Empire. The superhuman demonworshipping monstervikings aren't the only things these guys have to fight, the Empire has to deal with all sorts of nasties, the ones here are just one of the stronger types. While a basic, rank and file soldier may be no match for a Chaos Warrior, he is capable of taking on a clanrat, a skeleton or a beastman. In the case of this video, we can assume they were either ambushed and therefore unprepared and unequipped, or simply outnumbered.
***** besides, I absolutely hate how norse worship chaos in the warhammer universe. As if they didn't crave for being a nation who stands valiantly against the forces off evil in service to Thor and Odin...
The game wasn't as good as it could have been, but this intro is still one of the best ever!
QtubAyback it definitely had atmosphere
Play Medieval total war call to warhammer mod. It makes up for it.
It's been nearly a decade since this game came out, and the cinematic holds up REALLY well.
The soldiers of the Empire have balls of titanium, for they don't have the best equipment or aren't the strongest in the setting but they fight on none the less the forces of evil in this world.
Just like the Imperial Guard
Alexander Anderson Yeah but the IG have a strong mechanized army and orbital bombardment.
Admiral Attila I really favor them on any other faction.
Yes but that depends where they hail from. Also compared to other races a standard state trooper is relatvily weak.
But still they do what they have to do, balls I tell ya, Dem men got balls.
At the 1:55 Mark, you can see an Imperial soldier stab a Chaos Knight. Not as helpless as some of you thought.
And slowly on 1:48, an Empire Halberdier whacked a Chaos Warrior in the face, whilst an Empire Spearman in the right-hand side impaled another.
one of the best intro ever made
Plot twist: Those Chaos Knights actually came to surrender, but the Imperials just attacked.
You wish 😂
always giving me chills
An epic intro for an epic game.
Epic moment when that Warrior priest got the full Sigmar's blessing effect in the sense that courage simply deleted fear / anxiety.
Why can't GW invest in a long movie or tv-series, doesn't matter if fantasy or 40k, it would be sooo aawesoome!
I wonder why for the past 25 years....
- Needs Bretonnia, Lizardmen, Beasts of Chaos, Daemons of Chaos, Kislev, Wood Elves, Ogre Kingdoms, Tomb Kings and Vampire Counts.
Especially Bretonnia.
Yes he killed him 1:55 :D
Not gonna lie Chaos has got to be my favourite faction. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!
Men of the Empire, smite these foul servants of chaos, for Sigmar!
TO ME! SONS OF SIGMAR, FOR THE EMPIRE!!!!!
Blood for the blood god! Milk for his khorne flakes!
That was a Blood Thirster at the end right? so that means those were warriors of Khorne yes?
My knowledge of Warhammer is from Blood Bowl.
Welcome to warhammer, where priests are badasss for they use warhammers.
Say what you will about Karl Franz, at least that Emperor can get out of his fucking chair and do shit.
When you get ambushed in total war
The warriors could've caught up, they just weren't in a hurry.
The reason, as it turns out, was a bloodthirster.
1:25 "We are the knights how same Ni!"
Great intro, probably the only game i bought because of the intro video
Walking away, considering how apparently the chaos warriors move as fast as turtles since they can't catch up to somebody dragging someone two times their weight..
They knew the Bloodthirster was closing in for the kill.
Based on how this battle went you'd think the Empire would have lost every battle it ever fought lol
Love this intro is so epic
Holy fuck how are my medieval brothers not blessed with chainswords or bolters yet?
LOL, I added Wipeout by the Surfaris and its funny to see them fight to that song!
They should make a movie using the same tech they used for this.
Amazing
I like to full screen this in a dark room and turn up my speakers.
Fearless foes are much more satisfying in the eyes of chaos.
Musketeers (Musket Men) was one hell of a way too cheese the imperial story line
Holy fuck ! what an intro ! EPIC
Anyone know the music in the end of this video? It's amazing
Best cinematic
yes you are correct.
THE EMPEROR PROTECTS!
For the Empire, Charge to there deaths, but pretty epic tho
why humans are always the first target when it comes to warhammer XD
Epic
I wonder what they guy at 2:23 said
what were is alternatives?
This is the intro from the original Mark of Chaos -_-
I actually think the game was alright (kind of) All it needed was more work on the story, gameplay and other such features. The sad thing is, it could've been an excellent game.
Kinda depressing to see the Empire got wipe out that fast
It's a patrol not a full blown army.
The empire doesn't rely on brute strength like the Orks or Chaos do, they actually have a tactical mind and outsmart them.
The Emperor protects.
1:55 Did that soldier get one?
wish my preist did half as good as that against chaos warriors
some of their have handgunns, probably the only thing effective against chaos warriors
Rear charges with Knights Panther on an anvil or regular spearmen works good too.
Is this that franz guy from total war hammer
Blood for the Blood God!
you need Greatswords for them and cavalry too
Even GreatSword cant deal with Chosen.
Surrounded by turtles. Just have the warrior priest knock one or two out and run through.
Well, until the bloodthrister showed up, but it still works better than charging into melee.
The mists might hide warhounds who love nothing better then running down runners... Not the first time chaos did this...
When you get some Jesus 3:16
Lol
knew*
3:07 Ursa?!
I see what you did there xD
i cant find that game or the intro
Warhammer: Mark of Chaos. Its on PC, still have it somewhere.
Featuring: Bruce Willis as the Inquisitor XD
Priest of Sigmar 😉
@@sjonnieplayfull5859 indeed
Chaos people are kinda humanoid
Is that a Balrog?
it's a Bloodthirster
Loïc Joris
In the game, there was no bloodthirster, but there was a demon prince of khorne. I should imagine that was what they wanted to depict in the intro.
LukaszVT40k A soul devourer of Khorne, coming to devour the powerful soul of the warrior priest, man.
someone call up gandalf for that balrog
Xenos might not assist.
Warrior priest ;)
DWARFS ?
Intro: Marvelous.
Game: Tedious.
To me, sons of Sigmar!
The elf fucking died
Great Intro. But no warrior priest of Sigmar beats a greater demon of Khorne no matter of how bright his hammer is shining...
That's no normal warrior priest though...that's Bruce Willis!
That priest was kill, man. Didn't you pay attention to the end quote? It cut away just to show he was dying, overwhelmed, but at least still had faith, but in the end, realized that there is no escape.
+FAH Holliday There's no bloodthirster in the game because the Warrior Priest killed it.
Au Contraire, It comes down to the luck of the dice - Especially when a bloodthirster stares down across the battlefield against any ranged units and realises the amount of damage he will have to soak up before he can even get into combat with a priest. a full barrage of empire artillary would have old goat-horns on the run.
yippi kay yay for the god emperor
Theefl
Award for best intro to a garbage game.
lol

***** Hm? They can handle beastmen? Oh well, I guess that gives them a spot in the army.
***** besides, I absolutely hate how norse worship chaos in the warhammer universe. As if they didn't crave for being a nation who stands valiantly against the forces off evil in service to Thor and Odin...
