Whhhhy would they do this?! Waiting to see the next video to pull the trigger. Question I have the surround speakers now and I don’t feel like they put off that much sound. I have them mounted probably standing ear height angled down. Should they be sitting height?

one thing i love about the acoustimass 300 is the vibration it produces that really give a immersive experience to movies. i have been watching all the marvel movies on disney + dolby vision and sound, but not all movies vibrate the same. the deep bose sound is there but the same vibration is missing in some movies. ( some movies vibrate way more often then others for example during machine gun fire or some thing slammed to the floor & other movies just vibrate during big explosions only. ?????

Thanks after watching this great video I upgraded to the 700 surround speakers and got the stands. I downloaded the latest firmware and OMG!!!!!! My local Bose store manager is a friend and I told him you sold me the speakers!!!! I have a question he could not answer, After getting the 700 sound bar and 700 sub I cold no longer run my base shakes. I have the Samsun One Conect box with the ARC to the bar. Would the 700 sound bar continue to work if I run an ARC HDMI sound extractor to run my But-kicker amp? Thanks and keep up the good work.

Bose typically wont work with other brands so probably not you could try using arc to amp and optical to bar. if that doesn't work try running tv ARCe to amp and amp to bose straight to tv arc to try to bypass. If you amp has its own arc i would think it might work. Unfortunately I dont own that amp to try. Unfortunately as the system sits you can't add the bass module 700. But if you want to upgrade your system you can always go the new receiver route . Instead of the bose receiver you can buy a different one that can run more channels more formats ect. I remember at one point bose actually started selling essentially your setup with a Yamaha receiver instead through Costco. Happy holidays! I was thinking to upgrade my whole system to the Lifestyle 650.
Although I like the slimmer look of the speakers I’m not a big fan of the sound when playing music.
Also the fact that Bose went to silver and grey colored speakers is something that IMO was a wrong bet.
It matches with nothing else.
I might consider your idea of upgrading to another receiver.
But shouldn’t Bose be coming with a new system by now ? 🤔

Hey JB, this video is rather more comical than usual, a nice touch actually, made me chuckle. When I saw that is was a Bose video, I was pretty keen to watch it. As you know (we have spoken a few times now) I have the complete soundtouch 300 setup, including the invisible speakers and am curious to see how the new silver little speakers sound in your next video. Meaning 500 700 and acoustimass subs and the virtually invisible and latest 700 rear speakers can be used with any of those bars. 1. Do I calibrate the sound-bar again after all are connected or use original calibration?
2. Do 700 speakers have to be eye level as my table is short?
3. Is left speakers the speaker to my left as I’m looking at the sound bar or is the the speaker to the left facing from my sound-bar. ( I know, dumb question)

Yes you need to rerun adapt iq after connecting and adjust you eq settings after adapt iq process 😉 ear level is ideal or ceiling mount in corners with speaker holes pointing down towards sitting area as best as possible The adapt iq process will be crucial for new placement. Hi In your testing what audio settings are you using for the surround sound 700 and the soundbar 700? It noticed that when the 700 SB audio setting is set to 100 on center, bass and treble, the surround 700 speaker can hardly be heard. Could you tell me what audio settings u r using for all please as I’m testing mine too before I wait for tour review. Thanks

Dmitry Shapsis hi sorry I’m not a TH-camr so would be hard to get my point Out. To answer your question; yes I’m using the omnijewel floor stands. I think it’s awesome compared to the previous model. The one thing I like about it is the sound stage output it produces. Imagining sitting anywhere in the room and be able to hear the sound coming from these little speakers to be is amazing. I actually sold my previous Bose 700 surround speakers, formally known as the invisible surround sound, to replace these new Bose speakers. I must say I’m very happy to have done that. Additionally, the design is slick, aesthetically pleasing . The only issue I have now is trying to get the correct audio settings right hence the reason I’m waiting for JBs reviews. I feel that at most times my soundbar 700 sound overshadows making it hard to hear sound from the Bose 700 speakers. That said, I will suggest you take advantage of Bose 30 days trial to Try it for yourself first before jumping on it. You can also wait for JB review since he’s doing a great at reviewing it. Hey guys I have a LG C1 TV 48 inch in my gaming room with Bose soundbar 600, with Bose subwoofer 500 module and I also have the 700 surround sound omnijewels. This setup works perfectly for me. I spent around 2k Canadian for these 3 items.
I was going to go for the lower end surround speakers but I said f it I will go with their best surrounds speakers. The compatibility is great. The 5.1 Dolby atmos surround sound is the best with this setup you can really hear new sounds with the omnijewels with the bass

Just subscribed . Very informative. Have a question ? Bought Solo 5 and was doing a great job, but wanted something better so i returned it and was thinking to buy Soundbar 700. I want something for my regular TV channels ( News, Shows, movies, and ...) that will deliver really clear and detailed dialog and sound. something better than my Samsung Q90R factory speakers. Don't really care much for crazy bass, if the soundbar delivers a bit of bass will be enough for me. Every sales person trying to change my mind to not buying Bose. Now do you think Bose soundbar 700 just by itself and nothing else will be sufficient in my case for what i need ? or unlike the solo 5 will need to be paired with sub and/or speakers to get what i want ? The video is not ready unfortunately but will be released immediately after it is completed. I do alot of testing to truly maximize there potential and i found that there is much more than i expected. I hope to have it out by Thursday if my health holds up. As far as stands there is no stands i have found yet but actively looking they do have a flat small bottom surface I would imagine they would work with a stand that has a flat shelf like platform but have not tried any as of yet.

@@JbTechFanatic thanks buddy you're welcome. Thing is I've sold my 300 soundtouch yesterday, and stupidly didn't reset it. So if I but the 700 Soundbar can you see me having issues now with connecting my old 300 surrounds?!
Try deleting everything from your sound touch app. Next leave the rear speakers unplugged for 5 minutes. Then flip flop the left and right speakers and also don't forget to flip the switch from left and right on the black boxes. Now start the new setup process in my video using the bose music app 😊

Living in Canada, the Bose 700 Soundbar & Sub cost me just over 2k CAD. Rear speakers are $700 😂😅😢

After watching this I decided to make the purchase. I have the SoundTouch 300 sound bar, the 700 sub and have the Virtually Invisible speakers connected. How do I set up the 700Surround w the ST300? I am getting them delivered tmw. Do I need to remove the speakers on the Sound touch app or is it a matter of just unplugging the older speakers and plugging in the 700s? To connect the new 700 rear speakers you must first completely delete your virtually invisible speakers then go through the setup process the same way you did with your virtually invisible speakers once that is complete rerun the adapt IQ process as these are four way firing speakers and this will need to be recalibrated it will be that easy and you will be happy you upgraded let me know if you run into any hiccups I also want to share my Bose folder I have tons of information on the 300 and 700 systems th-cam.com/play/PLMdd-qroR8HVnekwKC2X0IHaqBbcIglaJ.html

Jb TechFanatic I found soundtouch 300 for $349 and soundbar 700 for $499. I just couldn’t decide.
Wow thats a steal in each account. Truly there is no wrong choice there both amazing but if you want to be future proofed I would go with the 700. it has EArc and updated Wireless connections with less dropouts and interference. also it has an enhanced EQ that really helps and since they're both on a great deal I would still get the 700 but if you had to pay the full price for the 700 and you can get the 300 for 349 then I would say definitely get to 300 but since they're both on sale get the 700 that is a steal by the way! But I want to make it very clear it's obviously your money that's just what I would do I truly believe that you will love either of them😉

I am disappointed with the brand. There is NO way that in years they will accept that they have a problem with the ARC in their equipment. I have owned and owned soundbars such as the ST300 and recently the Smart SoundBar 300. There is no way I can get sound from the TV as a source via HDMI cable.
