Thanks for your comment! I just updated the links in the description to include other Neewer iterations of the N284L+G0, and a similar tripod by Moman. Everything is currently on sale with coupons, including the N284L+G0! Makes me a little sad (lol) but I still think this was a great purchase! Cheers!

Thank you for taking the time out to compare the two tripods. I wish you get a lot more views on your videos.

Thank you! I really appreciate that. I'm going to start pushing it on my other social media accounts and see where it leads. I probably should've done that from that get-go lol!

broooo, great video! I really enjoyed the honesty of the review. I wonder if having a key light might help. Keep up the great work.

I wish this is a good tripod. I have ordered Neewer one for myself.. if it feels heavy then i would go for cheaper one for travel purpose

Thank you for your comment. This is a great tripod, but yes, it is heavy.
The weight is intentional so users have a solid and stable base to work with. The long boom arm will of course shift the center of gravity as well.
I would recommend this for night shooting, celestial/astrophotography, or time-lapse videos. For traveling and adventure photography, there are plenty of lightweight aluminum tripods available for under CAD$100. But if money's not an issue then I suggest getting a carbon fiber one. Cheers!

Thanks for this comparison. Based on it I bought the same newer tripod. One small issue, and it must be something I am doing wrong. After taking it out of the case, I don't seem to be able to get it to fit back it. It seems to be slightly too long. Fairly sure it is fully collapsed. Any Idea as to what I might be doing wrong???

Thanks for your question! I actually had the same issue lol!
The trick is to keep the ball head and plate loose so you can manipulate it and get it all to fit. I'll post a pic/video on my Twitter and Instagram for you later. I'll reply to this once I have it up. Cheers!

@@novumverum Got it. Still really tight. Would it have killed them to make it a 1/2 inch bigger? But the tripod its self is fantastic.

@@jimcichkid1 lol ya. But then again, unless I was storing it, I don't use the case at all. This tripod was a permanent fixture for my unboxing setup until recently when I wall-mounted a ball head. Now I can take it out with me more often. Gonna try my hand at celestial photography and time-lapse videos. And this beast will be a nice and steady platform for my camera.
Anyhow, I hope I was of some help. Enjoy your tripod! Cheers!
