The hit-and-run fight with Malenia was hilarious while still being absolutely horrifying with how fast she catches up given the chance.
Unironically probably more of a fun (& balanced) fight than unmodded, was really cool to see 1 of the hardest bosses in a Souls game being bullied but still doing bs stuff.

like you don't want the really scary lady to catch up, it's almost more intimidating this way, because even with horsie one slip up and you're done
Malenia in that fight was like a player character in a sense: it's all fun and games at her expense until you give her the opening she needs, and then suddenly the shoe is on the other foot.
I was expecting Dan to panic and run around summoning the entire gang to finish her off lol.
The realization that Malenia is a true 2-phase boss, and not a fake one that is two different bosses that get switched during the cutscene is always such a fun one; and seamless coop makes it all the more interesting how it gets solved.

RT had many amazing adventures and overall presented an extremely entertaining and skilled playthrough. But his adamant dedication to memeing legitimately stifled his exposure to substantial parts of the game.

After trying to break the fabrics of reality in Elden Ring, Orbulon the Opal and Mall Wizard Ranni have managed to accomplish something that no tarnished have ever done before.

I'm reminded of when me and a friend played seemless coop and apparently someone else used our exact same password, so when we joined the game there were just two Eastern European guys hanging out.
Malenia confirmed weak to horses. She lost when Radahn was on his horse, and she got bodied when you two fought her on horseback.

Dan finally realizing that he missed out on a lot of stuff feels very cathartic. A bit too late, but it's cathartic nonetheless.

That Malenia fight is one of the funniest elden ring things I've seen. It's terrifying how she can catch up to Torrent that fast.

Every randomizer playthrough has to have the part where Gary appears and everyone is so confused because his name is Garris but I guess his friends(snails) call him Gary

It's better when you read the Blaidd hat in game and it states it's a replica made by an assassin. RT was going to skin Blaidd and attempt wearing his head over a misunderstanding.

Considering how Shen tried to fight Malenia alone, i don't think she can question some of the poor decisions RT made.
Tbf you do fight her alone anyway, and she's far easy to defeat compared to the actual boss of the area.
@@RhysCallinan-hf7qx What? Malenia is in no way easier than Radanh. Even pre-nerf Radanh back when the game released is easier than her. Like he doesn't have a one shot move that you have to play around the whole fight
@@shinysnivy6604 I dunno, more people were dying to him than they were to Malenia, and they had summons. Also, from what I remember, he has at least two attacks that can one kill even high level players.
@@RhysCallinan-hf7qx More people died to him because he was way easier to get to and you could fight him way underleveled. Malenia is an endgame boss in a secret area, Radanh is a mid-game boss that's at the end of a major area. More people got to him on release, which led to more people dying to him
@@shinysnivy6604 That doesn't make sense. Considering the people who fought him died less to Malenia than to him. I saw a guy who died several dozen times to him on the hardest difficulty, yet defeat Malenia within a couple deaths, and he was a Souls diehard.
I'm so proud of the actual mounted combat hit and run tactics used against the one and only Starscourge Malenia.
I feel the terrain was more suited to that then the original place she spawns. A large area, no obstacles.

The extra Margit spawn in front of Leyndel at 27:00 absolutely killed me, it's like he just took off his clothes or something, just got worse
I love how this video is Shen realizing RT has not engaged with like half of the stuff in the game, and then trying to teach him because the game keeps giving all of the good loot to him
The deep lore here is that they beat Malenia using horses.

shen has earned her own personal TH-cam censor. truly a mainstay of the channel
a quick tip about summoned allies, if the summoning sign is OUTSIDE the arena (i.e. BEFORE the fight begins) then the boss gets additional health to balance the fight, HOWEVER if the summon sign is INSIDE the arena (usually DURING the fight like with Radahn) then the boss will NOT gain additional health when allies are summoned
regardless of that being said though, we already saw that Malenia is the worst boss to fight with summons... except for ONE summon specifically, one that is exclusive to Radahn's main boss arena... (video spoilers ahead!)

I think you're thinking of the Reforged mod, not Seamless. RT himself said it was because of the Crimson Bubbletear in his physick.
