    Jazakkalahu khair Dr Yasir Qadhi. I was always so confused about this topic. For me going a day out with my child and husband in another city really feels like traveling. Because you have to find a masjid sometimes its not open ( for the women for the men it usually is) so now i have to bring water or hold my wudu( which i am not good at ) if i have to pray i can do my wudu outside and pray outside so i wont miss my prayer.
    And i also have to find a spot to pray in because i dont want to pray in public i also cant do wudu in public so yeah its very hard and if i can combine my prayer and shorten it that would be so much easyer for me and would take away alot of stress.
    Its always a big deal to just go out shopping for example with my family. And for someone else that might be just another day like the rest.
    So yeah i was always very very confused how to go about this but now i know how to deal with this. Thank you so so much i have learned alot about the deen from you. For me the deen is very confusing sometimes and very hard but when you explain the diffirent opinions and you conclude with a opinion its always logical for me.
    So once again thankyou very much for this explination its has really helped me.

      @RealDeal441 not grocery shopping but shopping for clothes and stuff in another city thats 60 kilometers away for example grocery shopping is indeed not a travel haha. Grocery shopping is a weekly thing ( for us) and we do it in the city itself when the prayer is almost coming to an end we always go home and pray and do the other groceries another time
      But when you are driving 50 minutes to some city you cant go home and pray and do that shopping or whatever another day because its a day that you have planned and we do not go all the time once in a while we go somewhere when i am getting annoyed of staying home all the time. We go out and have a nice day. But the thing is that prayer isnt easy when you are out. Women sections are most of the time closed ( where we go in that city they only open the women section when its time for the next prayer and when you still have to pray the otherone its not a option because you are going to miss the prayer meanwhile my husband can just walk in and pray and i am expected to just figure out where i am going to do wudu and pray) so yeah not the grocery shopping but shopping for clothes for our child or just going out i n another city

    I have a question about the hadith # 11 in sahih bukhari in the chapter of menses. Hadith goes :
    Narrated By Abu Said Al-Khudri : Once Allah's Apostle went out to the Musalla (to offer the prayer) o 'Id-al-Adha or Al-Fitr prayer. Then he passed by the women and said, "O women! Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women)." They asked, "Why is it so, O Allah's Apostle ?" He replied, "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you." The women asked, "O Allah's Apostle! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?" He said, "Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?" They replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?" The women replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her religion".
    I listened to a clip of Dr. Yasir Qadhi but it was only about the first half of the hadith; about the sins that women are likely to fall in to.
    Please explain the second half of the hadith as well.

    My parents house and father in laws house is more than 50 km away. Should I pray kasar or full prayer over there?
    As I don’t know the Fiqh ruling about this issue, I pray full prayers in these two houses.

      @TheCodenaruto 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      RealDeal441 as-salamu alaykum, but don’t you think he had a point when he said you decide yourself? Because for you, you felt like you have a roof over your head, so you felt like not a traveler, at the end you used your own psychological factory to come to that conclusion.

    • @TheCodenaruto
      @TheCodenaruto 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      RealDeal441 but that rule is very hard in some situations, public transport in my country sometimes takes 2 hours to go 30KM, up and down only 60KM, but more than 4 hour, what do you do in that sort of situation?

    • @TheCodenaruto
      @TheCodenaruto 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      RealDeal441 bro does that mean I will have to say wait another half an before getting on the bus in order to pray Magrib?
      Also if you have your own vehicle in Australia you can travel 50km within 45 mins, so if I go to my friends house and come back, does that count as traveller?

  • @uziair
    @uziair 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    With my utmost respect to Yasir Qadhi and those who find this argument compelling, I will say the following -
    This is a great argument if you are ignorant the fact that what it means to be "a traveller" was defined prior to sahih bukhari being written...
    🤷🏽‍♂️
    How could a hadith in sahih bukhari be the based for a fiqh ruling that preceded it?
    🤦🏽‍♂️

    • @ARmirzaful
      @ARmirzaful 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are missing the fact that the prophet said ahadith way before they were put in sahih bukhari. Bukhari is a written work that came later but authentic ahadith were already written by the sahaabah.

    • @uziair
      @uziair 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ARmirzaful exactly, and transmitted to the tabieen and tabatabieen so that fiqh rulings could be derived from them...therefore we see that there are some rulings that had been transmitted authentically in the absence of explicit sahih hadith on the topic being recorded in the books of hadith, often time with difference of opinion stemming from different methodology of understanding them.. such as where to put the hands in prayer and other things such as the topic of this video.

      Salam alaykoom sister you probably follow another understanding of Islam and may Allah guide all of us and grant us success in this world and the next. I personally feel like someone like Yasir qadhi is way more beneficial for the ummah than some ultraconservative who never open the doors for discussion, the ulama of islam have always differed in their opinions and alhamdullah as laymen we are allowed to follow any opinion derived from proper fiqhi methodology and if we genuinely do so seeking Allah's pleasure. Calling another Muslim misguided because they do not follow your position is inappropriate as for big questions that constitutes the creed of ahlal sunnah scholars are the ones who can declare someone as misguided, let's be careful with our words. Salam alaykoom have a nice day.
