    Excellent and logical analysis , guided by teachings of our religion. Totally support you yq; it’s a shame if people are criticising your truthful and educational approach. May Allah soften their hearts and open their hearts to a deep understanding of our beautiful religion; and may Allah sw forgive and guide us if we are in the wrong. Tolerating other people’s opinion in a polite and dignified way is the key. Exactly how our beloved sheikh yasir qadhi does. May Allah give him jaza for the excellent work that he is doing.

I love you for your openness about opinions of all Madhabs / Shaykhs; state what you lean towards or follow and leave it on an individual to follow whatever he/she prefers. Alhamdulillah, I am following you from past 9 yrs, I couldn't ever felt you mocked any shaykh/'s. It is not unIslamic to call spade a spade and truth is beyond & above anyone. May Allah reward you immensely for every misunderstood comment of yours. On a lighter note, Shk YQ, do you still love your Mocha?? 😊

    Qasr is mustahab, its in sunnah, its the default (rewarded for praying 2). Done when travelling.
    Qasr begins when you travel outside of the walls of the city, you've left the premise of your city.
    If musafar is praying behind iman, you must follow the iman. If musafar is leading (i.e the iman), you need to pray the four (extra 2 rakat). But to not confuse the congregation, sometimes it's best the iman prays 4.
    How long do you do qasr for?
    - A) if you are residing in some place and each day presents possibly of you leaving that day (e.g. In case of war for the sahabat, awaiting when flight will be booked by airline), you can do qasr for as long as needed
    - B) what about if you know how long you are staying (e.g. 5 days). There are lots of opinions on this (over 20)

    There are many places in India where specially for a woman it's difficult to find a place to pray as you know 99% people are hanafis and they don't allow women inside the mosque nor there is any provision like having small prayer rooms in the shopping malls like in other countries then isn't it better to pray zuhr and asr together? Isn't it better to combine than to leave the prayer altogether? There are many instances where we have to leave home and we get stuck or we know we won't get back home sooner and surely we will miss the salah. Why can't we use this hadees once in a while in these scenarios? Don't you realise the situation is different in non Muslim majority countries?

  • @truthseeker185
    @truthseeker185 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Absolutely love and respect shaikh yq, but I humbly disagree with the statement that prayers should only be combined if there is an obvious reason. He said that he doesn’t want to open this door. Well, the door was opened by prophet sw himself in the saheeh Hadith he mentioned. I agree that the message should be that the preferred way is not to combine prayers but if someone wants to do it for no apparent reason then he does have the example of prophet sw himself. Of course prophet sw did not combine prayers generally and we should follow that but we can use the ease that prophet sw gave us if we want, otherwise what was the point of prophet sw combining the prayers without a reason.

If it has been made easy, don't try to make it difficult. You have no right to open or close a door, when it has already been opened in Islam. to combine prayers without an excuse..

    No! Read Al Quran (2:101-103) again! Qasr (shortening) prayer is only when you are in fear of an enemy attack. Not when you feel secure; then you should perform regular prayer. In the context of shortening prayer, the definition of Safar has nothing to do with number of days or distance traveled. It simply is when you are in fear of an attack from an enemy; then you shorten prayer while carrying arms, on high alert! Read the Quran!

    There is no qazr where there is no danger to you. You can pray one salah & after the other following prayer. Pray dohr 4 rak'a then followed by azar 4 rak'a. Follow the Quran & not the hadith of men. Hadith is a blasphemy by one making the statement or narrations other than the Quran & an idolatry to one who believes in that hadith not in the Quran. Qasr is clear only in time of danger in time of Prophet Muhammad pbuh an his companions in a state of war. When you are not in a state of danger or battle to pray 4 rak'a & 4 rak'a. Why follow those people when their opinion is not in the Quran. Do not mislead people of your learning not in the Quran. Why follow those Hanbali,Maliki, et al.? Where in the Quran Allah swt says of Hadiths to believe in other than the Quran? Read Quran 69:44-47 & 7:3. Astagfirullah! Subhanallah! Allahu'akbar!

      Do you know the meaning of Hadith? Hadith is not invented by the sahabas or men like you claimed. Hadith is an act what is said and done by Prophet Muhammad (saw) , if you are denying the hadith then you are denying Allah’s messenger and his message. Thus leads to disbelief. Beware of what you spout
