I love these videos cause this game literally cannot age I swear. As for the cup of life reaction ability, I found it turns your priest and chemists into monster healers. Keeping a priest far from battle and just spamming heals on themselves with chakra as a support ability will just constantly have your team topped off. Tho by the time u get this ability the arithmetik ability is far superior. But yeah food for thought.

Soulbind is amazing for tanky, high-HP characters, and Cup of Life is amazing on lower-HP healers exactly in the way you mentioned. The issue I have with CoL is that you cannot trigger it on yourself, so you will always need someone dedicated to providing the healing to the unit with CoL equipped, basically requiring TWO healers. Using elemental absorption and offensive elemental magicks will usually get you there. 👍
Everytime i build mage+arith i feel like i have a demigod in my team. Using Holy heal my team and kill half of enemy team instanteneously is risiculous.
grat video bro, im so happy to see my comment, the first time i used a black mage with arithmetics and see i could cast flare, in the SAME turn and MP FREE, and kill EVERYONE in the map, was a blowmind, then i used and reset the game XD
YES! I will always remember my first time using a Calculator (the original Job name 🤣) and didn't understand how it worked. When it finally clicked a dark grin started creeping across my face when I realized the true potential! 😈
Ive used cup of life on my tank so when they are healed the access goes to the melee near them it also acts as a multi heal for the lower spells if you can hit over the hp threshold
For weapon, the bag with +1 speed or even the ones with regen/MA feel more helpful, and you can also use barrette if you play female magic character ( can also be used on Reis if you wish to use her dragonkin job and arithmetician as secondary job ). Nice guide btw. Is there a discord channel, or forum to find players for coop/pvp?

That's probably the best way to go about grinding out JP with such low Speed - get a recurring action going that doesn't rely on anything more than staying in a corner and waiting! 🧠
CT stands for Charge Time. The lower the CT in the skill/spell menu, the faster they'll activate. That's why spells like cure and fire have very low CT and heavy spells like Meteor are very high. You can gain a further advantage with swiftness. It cuts CT for spells in half. It also affects turn order as previously mentioned by @Tacticslive Manipulation of CT is very important, especially early on when you don't have great gear, etc. It can mean the difference between Victory and Game Over in some instances.

You really need to use tailwind to keep up with the speed. Arithmeticians are really slow just to try grinding them.
Agreed, anything to squeeze another action into your turn sequence! Also worth it to slow the enemy down so you get more actions. 👍

Cup of Life is amazing IMO, it's a shame it's locked within the Arithmetician job because it suits tanks so well. 🥲

When grinding these guys, I always deploy 3 time mages with high zodiac synergy. Haste + Quick is essential!

It's the measurement to determine which unit goes next. When a unit's CT reaches 100 (75 with Haste) the unit goes. 👍
