Tesla will open at least 7,500 of its chargers to non-Tesla EVs in White House deal

The Biden-Harris Administration announced its latest set of actions Wednesday aimed at creating a national charging network for electric vehicles. For the first time, Tesla will open a portion of its U.S. Supercharger and Destination Charger network to non-Tesla EVs. The move would make at least 7,500 chargers available for all EVs by the end of 2024. Those chargers will be along highway corridors as well as hotels and restaurants in urban and rural locations.
