Some really good suggestions, only things I thought would also be good is thieving magpie for card draw, baleful strix and Tidehollow strix (wouldn’t work for commander I know) and Morophon the boundless as not only would he buff the chosen type but they cost less, plus if you could copy they get +2+2 and would cost 2 coloured less so easier to cast plus he’s already an artifact so works with some of the other cards you mentioned.
@@PubStompMTG no worries I use Morophon in my Grolnok deck but I think he would be far better with Tawnos and making that craterhoof cheaper well that’s win win for sure haha
@@PubStompMTG also additional thing Drafna founder of lat-nam if he’s out with Tawnos and your doing a mutation or normal creature you can copy it twice on top of the original think it will be a lot of fun to build a Tawnos deck for sure
Will Hydroid Krasis really allow you to draw the full amount (as opposed to 'half')? The copy itself is not cast, so I would like to know how that works.
Yeah you bring up a good point. I am sorry I explained it weirdly. I meant that it keeps the counters when its cast but shouldn't actually draw you cards or gain life. Sorry about that!
Definitely great getting two of them! Sadly Tawnos relies on cast and copying instead of when a beast ETBs make a artifact copy. But that would be way to abusable! But displacer kitten 100% is amazing!
Great decklist, you should definitely try out Auspicious Starrix in the deck, and maybe other mutaters to trigger it more. 2 mutates gets 10 pseudo-cascades off
Mutate is definitely a great mechanic for this deck for sure! I was so tempted in putting in a lot of mutate cards in here but I had to constrain myself knowing I already made a Mutate deck with Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief! But you're right on!

Normally tokens habe a mana value of zero, the exception to this rule is when you create a token copy of another object. The copy will also copy the mana cost of the original.

One of my favorite creatures is Riptide Mangler, for 1U it could add another creature's power to itself. Definitely help the Behemoth wincon 💪
