Wonderful video. Thank you for the step by step rebuild processes. Were your front calipers brand new? If they were new, did you reuse your original seals or replace them?
Thank you! The calipers were really beat up and used, we re-coated them with @kkfinishingco, the seals and boots were fine to reuse as they were in good shape, but we did take them fully apart to inspect and reassemble after coating. 👍🏼
You happen to feel it as well? There is times where it feels perfect, and times where there is squish on top, I’ve bled it 4 time all kind of different ways now.
@@kkindustries Porsche owners report the same problem with new vehicles. I keep reading about them taking their cars into the dealership without fixing the underlying issue. Someone must have had success adjusting the brake pedal or swapping the master cylinder or both…
Really enjoyed this, thanks for the detailed video. The calipers turned out great! How did you get them to look so smooth, is it just a result of powder coating?
Thanks so much man! I did a lot of smoothing and sanding on them but the powder coat does give it a nice smooth finish also. Check @kkfinishingco that’s our coating shop.
I would like to get help in the following question. i bought Brembo 4pot Brake Caliper. Unfortunatelly i have no idea about the orders of these part, so from the correct places of these are unknown for me: 8R0615105CJ 8R0615106CJ. Do you have assembly instructions, what kind of piston goes where exactly? Thank you so much for your help??
Hi how can I get more power out of my A4 2.0tdi as I believe it is stock power 148bhp without it becoming a dirty diesel blowing black smoke everywhere
Nice fully detailed video 👍🏾
Thanks Lloyd!! 🙌🏼
Ohhh yea, this is so cool
Thanks Flemming!
Love the attention to detail! Too bad my spacers didn’t work but hey they still clear! Lol
Thanks for the help buddy!
Can you put 17 inch wheels with these Porcshe calipers?
yes
hi, which piston is for the inside and which for the outside?
thank you in advance ✌️
Hey man, what happened to these stock wheels?
Whick pistons go where? My powder coater disassembled them but didn’t not which side was black and which were gray
What year macan are the front calipers from?

@@kkindustries Thank you for the additional information.
Direct fit for MK6 GTI?
does it just bolt up in the rear? no modifications needed?
Hello, i have a B8 V6 TDi 240ch, with 320mm disk, please i need to know if the calliper of the Macan with his 345mm fit in mine... Thx
what program do you use for obd ?
Ciao, è possibile installare queste pinze su audi A5 8t 2.0tdi del 2013?
Grazie mille
Put the brakeline first to the caliber and then to the other end. That way you dont neet to spin caliber at all...
Yep 😅 thought about that after the entire project was done.. sometimes it’s just like that, the brain don’t function in the moment.
@@kkindustries Yes I know the feeling ☺️. I have done it with hard way also 👍
Size disc front?
I be like they’re they 345mm, it’s the B8 S4 Size Rotor, also check the link in the description for the DIY
Did you manage to eliminate the soft pedal feel inherent with the Macan 4 pot caliper swap?

@@ratspam7655 thanks for the info man, I’m going to dig into that a bit too, I kind of wish I knew about this before.
Any updates on this issue? And my B8 brakes have massive fade (granted I am often pushing them pretty hard)… so hoping this upgrade will help
Some people on the Mk7 to Macan calipers swap thread, tapping th rcaliper with a rubber/plastic coated soft mallet can help get more air bubbles out.
What color code gray is that? Been looking for this shade.
Is all the Macan brake calipers the same? I can see some diesel versions and 2.0T versions but they all look kinda the same
Chances are if they look the same they’re the same calipers, there isn’t many out there that look this way.
So in essence a 2015 Porsche Macan or VW Touareg caliper will do the job?
I think q7 too. I think q7 is the same as macan but not 100% on that

Do the callipers fit an s-line b8 2014 plate or does it have to be an S4
it should fir the b8 platform, they get used across many vehicles, but the rotros need to be the S4 type.
Getting tools is no fun, if you get a small cart it helps a huge amount!
Thanks! I’ll definitely keep that in mind
Can I do this straight swap on my 2014 a4 b8???
Yes Sir
Cool

You pinched the brake hose …
