I like No.7 Lift & Luminate foundation. I have used it in my profile pic you see to the left. I am 58. I am doing my best to grow old naturally and gracefully. I have found less is best on my mature skin. Foundation, blush, mascara, and a tinted lip balm and occasionally eye liner is all I use now.

I think rather than having the third foundation, finding a tinted Sunscreen works well. The Color Science Flex has been a game-changer for me. It is expensive, but since I am using it for two products it comes out about the same. Just a thought.

Great video, thank you. I've used the original It Cosmetics CC Cream for years and, though I've tried countless others, always go back to this. The coverage can be adjusted from sheer to just about full, and never creases, and plays well w/sunscreen & creme make-up. It's even sweat-proof at the gym. I'm in my 50's so it def works on aging skin. Avene sunscreen is my go-to--LOVE IT.

Up until my 50’s, I used a single foundation. Somehow, it worked for all occasions. But when I started dealing with wrinkles and texture, I found that my go-to foundation didn’t work anymore, The mineral makeup that used to make my face look flawless now made it look dry and accentuated wrinkles and texture no matter what skincare I used or how I prepped it. Then, I found that I needed two liquid or cream foundations-one that was my skin but better and one that was buildable. I’d find products I loved only to have them be discontinued or not look the same as before. I’m now in my mid 60’s and searching for what works the best for me. You’ve given me a great place to start again after a couple of years of not wearing any makeup.

Honestly, I know it's a boring "dinosaur" of a product, but Estee Lauder Double Wear is my one and done....can be added to moisturizer for a tinted look, add a glowy primer for a glowy look, wear it sheer or full coverage and it has a natural matte finish but not a dead matte finish. It's what my grandmother wore and honestly I've not found a more versatile product even though it's not very exciting lol

Hi Bobbi I have two foundations, plus a powder foundation for touch ups on the go. I use either the Mac F&B in C1 or the lancome teint idole in shade 008/091. I have very dry, mature, rosacea and eczema prone skin, plus as a Fitzpatrick one I don't tan. The Lancome is my longwear or evening makeup and is a buildable formulation from a light to high medium coverage. Depending on the primer used underneath (and the spf) i can change the look of it to what I need. The F&B is my everyday foundation - never ever shows dry patches and is a light to lower medium buildable formulation. It's less transfer proof than the Lancome, but is quick and easy to apply with fingers. The Laura Gellor balance n brighten in porcelain is my on the go touch up, for my nose/chin or any other rosacea redness peeking through.
I have tried quite a few others and have either returned, given away or put in the cupboard out of my everyday makeup. Shade selection is an issue as I am so extra pale, so my choices are more limited, however all those mentioned above have a decent shade range. My absolute spot on shade match is none of these - the dior forever skin glow in shade 00 is perfection, but it's really dehydrating on my dry skin and I can't wear it without mixing it with other things. I do love the matching concealer though and it's a daily staple. Formulation is really important and the F&B or the Lancome are tried and true long term products that work better for me than any of the newer releases - the grass isn't always greener and the newer stuff isn't always better. Best wishes.

I’ve never had a collection of foundations. I keep one foundation on hand……unless for whatever reason I’m looking for something new. I avoid the sun like the plague. I was born and raised in southwest Florida, about one mile from the beach. I had more sun exposure and sunburns by the age of 18 than any person should have. So one shade of foundation is enough for me. I have very normal skin. Yes, even at the age of 61. I want matte, I don’t like “dewy”….which translates as oily to me. Right now, I’m looking for a new foundation simply because I’m tired of having to order from my Mary Kay rep. So far I’ve tried the Elf CC foundation. ICK! Thick, sticky and very oily looking. After three tries it went in the trash. Right now I’m trying the Wet & Wild photo focus matte foundation. So far so good, just have to find the perfect primer to pair it with. Seeing someone (who is not a beauty influencer) with a drawer full of different foundations just makes me cringe 😖, but to each his own. Blush? I think I have two. One highlighter. One loose and one pressed powder. One brow pencil. Two or three eyeliners. And I am forever on the hunt for a mascara that will make it look like I actually have eyelashes. 🙁I have more eyeshadow palettes than one person should have. Thanks for the video.

If foundations look too heavy and you have nice skin, then you may like a bb cream or tinted moisturiser better. Some of the Korean bb creams have a bit more coverage than their Western counterparts, but feel lightweight on the skin. The other option is a mineral or powder foundation - both are very lightweight. hope that helps.

How beautiful can we be if we willingly choose products that animals are tortured to test and then killed for? Is that real beauty? I would love to try L'Oreal but they kill animals to make money. Buying vegan cruelty-free products give us an inner beauty that is priceless.
