Going to try this. I’m having connection issue with my usb. It’s not a the official link cable but it does recognise my headset when plugged in. My f1 2021 is blurry and can’t make out the track in the distance. Resolution looks crap. Rtx2070 i5 9400
@@massgass9131 if you put your quest to sleep you dont need to open sidequest again bc it will still be upgraded but if you shutdown and start the headset you have to change the settings again each time.
does this only work if using vr thru the sidequest app? example, I mainly use my OQ2 for DCS (Digital Combat Sim). That requires going thru the OQ2 App or am I wrong there?

Does the headset have to stay connected with the cable to keep the upgraded resolution? When unplugged does it go back to default
It will be upgraded after you unplug the quest, it keeps upgraded until either you shut down or restart your quest

Every time I turn the QUEST 2 I should repeat the steps or only one time ??
it resets every time it's turned all off and rebootet
