@@sandrabsreekumar9327 I am not sure why you would want to use mayonnaise in this dish though I am thinking perhaps you watched the Japanese stirfry recipe. Either way, its not needed, its got enough savoury flavours from the pork and sauces.

I know it's not cool or sophisticated to admit, but this very basic fried rice remains one of my very favorite Chinese meals. I make it the same way you do, Marion (except I top the finished dish with a healthy squiggle of sriracha sauce), and have been cooking it for dinner every second week or so for many years. Watching you cook is always a joy, and I love it when you revisit one of these "oldie but goodie" favorites, because I know it will motivate a new group of viewers to give it a try. Thank you. So perfect! I have been chasing a fried rice that I used to order at a somewhat upscale restaurant that doesn't exist any more. no one makes it as good. I realize now that the xiaoxing wine was The Secret. And the white pepper. Pretty much no other fried rice recipes include those! But they are key
Hi Marion I tried this amazing fried rice with a left over rump steak cut up like you did ' it turned out so yummy but I only had dark soy sauce and no sesame oil 'it's on my next shopping trip . New Zealand.
Just made this and I loved it ! Your recipes never fail me. I didn’t add the salt because my light soy sauce is a bit salty and I don’t like salty food but omg this was so so soooo good
Thank you, this came out amazing. I made two changes - I used soy chunks (minced and marinated) instead of meat and a red chili to liven up the spicy note and it was absolutely fantastic. Greetings from Italy.

I saw this and ignored my better judgment and clicked. Now what I had for dinner is meaningless, my mouth is salivating like a runny faucet, and my stomach is growling like it won the lead role in the Lion King!
