I have a goddaughter that I was extremely close with. Due to circumstances I’m not allowed to see her anymore, last time I saw her she was only 3 and my biggest fear is that she will never remember me again. This movie hit me pretty hard.

My country had a Civil war and my family was separated. Haven't seen my sisters and my two brothers since 2008 and my sister since 2013. I feel like my heart is tired but this year we will reunite. Half of them lives in Canada. They will visit us this year. The ideal itself makes me cry. I was the youngest among my siblings. They used take care of me. I remember how they spoiled me and played with me. I feel like am 100 years old after we separated.
Wow...I'm blown away by this movie at so many levels. Every actor did a great job. The plot is top notch and Sandra Bullock's performance is Oscar material.
How is the plot top notch 😂🤣... Good actors and actresses... But... It's about a girl who kills a cop does her time then tries to reconnect with her younger sibling... If that blows you away you need to watch other movies... There are far better movies with way better plots
I enjoyed it too. The ending was a little ABC movie of the weekish but Rotten tomatoes critics gave it like a 38% while the audience score is closer to 83%. My only guess is that there were not enough protected classes in the movie. The movie also dealt with adult content so it made them uncomfortable...
Can u answer my question please. Why would she bother taking the blame since you can't be charged with a crime if you are under 10 years old so the child would have been fine?
Went into this not expecting a lot but wow. I never used to rate Sandra Bullock as an actress but is now one of my favourites. She's proven she can perform consistently well in all the roles she plays, and she nails this one perfectly

Love the movie. Viola Davis is superb, Sandra Bullock magnificent. The movie does not need many scripts. Their emotions, gestures, and eyes are enough to understand the story and held your tears until the end.

On top of that Sandra's character was on the phone yelling and talking to the cops when the cop was shot. So a good cup would have solved this case fast.
She is beyond amazing, Sandra is superb influential actress , with little talking this movie is truly takes us deep inside . Viola is one of the best, she & Sandra has a mind blowing master scene , which will be awards scene .🤷🏾♀️ This movie made me cry for so many reasons but mainly the injustice & sacrifices .

This film would have to make a theatrical release for a certain amount of time her to be eligible for one. I don't think a Netflix movies are eligible for nominations by the academy. I could be wrong though.

Just saw this film and Sandra Bullock has to be nominated for a Oscar! She did a great job portraying a character that was full of grief, and depression.
I love that they went all out on the line up. Sandy, Viola and Vincent wow 👏. The original of this is a 3 part British TV series called unforgiven featuring Suranne Jones it's so good. Come December 10 am bingeing on this one , too. Thanks Netflix!
