2005 suns were fine until joe Johnson gets hurt plays poorly vs spurs in the west finals and they lose in west finals..they were a new squad...it takes time...they lose Joe and q rich...and then amare gets hurt all of 2006 as diaw bell barbosa develop ....imagine a team of nash amare joe Marion q rich bell barbosa Diaw in 2006....instant title...they won 54 game and made game 6 of the west finals after 2 7 game series wins without amare Joe or q rich 3 of their 5 starters the year before....they lose cause Dirk scored 50 on them....Tim Thomas pissed him off....also their bench was useless and dantonu only played 6 guys most minutes and the occasional 7 th ...they used 8 guys all playoffs a Long and got to 6 wins from a title with amare hurt...with him they no doubt aren't as tired and make the finals ..they ran out of gas cause dantoni wanted to score so fast but play no defense yet not use his bench either ...2007 Horry hip checks Nash and for game 6 amare gets suspended for stepping on the court. Total bs....in all 3 season they lost to the eventual west champ...and 2 time nba champ spurs...in 08 they trade for shaq lose Marion and again lose to spurs....bad trade...2010 Steve kerr ironic enough rebuilds the team with stretch 4 channing frye and amare at the 5 after getting rid of Shaq and rediscovering small ball...now with Nash amare Frye grant hill Jared Dudley they almost made the finals...a Ron artest lucky rebound beat them in game 5
They also would have won a championship if Amare didn't miss the entire 2005-2006 season. Nash led them to game 6 of the WCF against the Mavs that season without Amare.
