I think the Raikiri is S tier because it doesn’t have that flaw, it only amps speed to a level manageable for the user (2-3x) and therefore doesnt require the use of the Sharingan which help’s with Kakashi’s stamina in battle. The Raikiri might also be more potent, by “recycling” the chakra, that Chirdori uses for speed, into strength.
One thing in favor of chidori being A blitz above is kid Kakashi being unable to react to his own speed without the sharingun. This was in the kakashi Chronicles, and it was not the Lightning blade yet because he did not cut through lightning with it yet.
He could react to his own speed, he just couldn’t adjust enough for a counter attack because of the tunnel vision effect. You could just argue that any Naruto character moving at full speed would suffer the same issue without dojutsu.

And characters moving at full speed do not need dojutsu to adjust themselves when moving at full speed. Examples of this are KCM Naruto, the Raikage, killer B, etc. I love your stuff, I was just pointing somethin out to help explain why we as a community are so quick to accept that the chidori is a speed amp.

The sports festival, joint training arc, the Erei rescue mission, the second movie, saving Bakugo, fighting stain, etc. could all be very interesting imo! Katara needs the moon in order to access blood bending as far as I’m aware. That wouldn’t work on them so she probably dies just like her brother. Other than that, great stuff. I feel like doing the duo video would be better. I think team avatar gets beaten pretty badly if they fight the Akatsuki all at once.
In the episode “The Southern Raiders.” It’s shown Katara blood bending the captain of the ship. I ended rewatching to see if a full moon was visible but it was never shown just being mostly cloudy. However I would say there is a greater chance a full moon wasn’t then for it was. Book 3 episode 16

I agree with basically everything you said. There are a couple of minor mistakes, three to be exact, but other than that, 10/10 video and definitely looking forward to the Akatsuki Duo video. The mistakes were that, the Raikiri & Chidori function in the same capacity and are essentially, the same jutsu. The Raikiri is S-Rank because it achieved the feat of cutting a lightning bolt in half while it was Kakashi's hands. The Chidori is not S-Rank because it hasn't achieved that feat yet. Raikiri is the "Lightning Blade" because it cut lightning, and we know Kakashi called the Lightning Blade "Chidori" before he achieved the feat. They have different hand signs because Kakashi is more proficient with the jutsu than Sasuke. We know the same jutsu can have different hand signs in different shinobi that have different skill levels. Tobirama performs the Water Dragon Jutsu in three hand signs while Kakashi performs it in a plethora of hand signs because Tobirama is more skilled with it. The same goes for the Fireball Jutsu, in which Itachi performs it in a couple of hand signs while Kakashi uses up another plethora. The other mistake was that, CM2 Sasuke's Black Chidori is not the Onyx Chidori. The Onyx Chidori is the Six Paths-enhanced black Chidori Sasuke uses in the War Arc. I don't know what the name of Sasuke's CM2 Black Chidori is, but they are different. The last mistake is that the Chidori does enhance speed, that's why it creates tunnel vision. It was stated by Minato that the Chidori enhances speed significantly & that's the reason Kakashi HAD the speed to cut a lightning bolt in half.

Just two things here. - The raikiri databook statement says it’s “honed to its limit”, so you could easily argue that the difference between the two comes in the absolute concentration of the chakra. But they are technically separate jutsu, it’s just hard to identify what exactly separates them. - Minato never says Chidori increases speed. He says one of the drawbacks is the speed of the technique. That could just mean that moving in a linear fashion at or near your maximum speed creates a tunnel vision effect that’s hard to overcome without dojutsu. I’ve used that before too, but he never says or implies that the jutsu amps the user’s speed, just that the jutsu is fast.

@@sageofthickcalveswe know it gives you a speed boost for a few reasons. If it didn't give you a speed boost then essentially all the jutsu does is cloak your hand in lightning. We know it does more than that otherwise there wouldn't be a tunneling issue, the user could just run at their normal blitz speed. Kakashi even in the boruto era cannot perform the raikiri without the sharingan and its stated that hes only grown stronger since the war. We also have other examples of lightning style amping movement speed with Ay, its more likely than not that the raikiri and by extension the chidori increase movement speed.

This is very generous for team avatar. Katara can't use blood bending. Zuko burns down a forest that takes days to cross even for ninja. Zuko or toph break katara out of genjustu somehow. And the chidiri does give a speedboost because the user moves so fast they need sharingan to use it. If the chidori makes you move do fast that you can't react fast enough it has to be giving you a speed boost faster than your reactions. Like i said at the beginning this was really generous for team avatar

You did go the more fair route but Naruto characters can scale faster , you did kinda lowball them. For example neji reacting to lee 4th and 5th gate , the same neji who can react to lighting arrows while injured , was outspeed and temporarily blitz by Naruto in the chinin exam. Making Naruto in nine tails chakra at least lighting tiers . Naruto gets another speed amp via 1 tails which Sasuke reacts and keeps up with 3 tomoe. Already cm1 Sasuke 3 tomoe is at least lighting + or around Aang lvls of speed. Add the 10x amp via cm2 and Sasuke is blitzing Aang
Hey sage im a huge fan of these videos and i want to see them kept up but i have a couple issues that don't make sense to me So first off chidori absolutely gives a speed amp, kakashi made it as a child and couldn't use it until he got the cognition boost from obitos sharingan. Second is there a point in the comics where katara uses bloodbending without a full moon? I know we have seen others in the universe do it but never her specifically from my recollection. I also don't know if being crushed would kill sakkon and ukkon, these guys were split in two with half of their bodies ripped off and they were perfectly fine. Crushing them might be different but i don't think so. Speaking of which im not sure toph using earth bending to hold jirobo under ground would work, it's probably hard to calculate how much force earthbending has behind it but this dude picked up a fully expanded version of choji, he had to weigh tons and jirobo had no issue lifting him. Thank you so much! I’ll address these issues point by point. - The Chidori MIGHT give a speed amp, but we don’t know for sure. Lee notes that the issue that the sharingan helps with is perceiving the counter attack (also what Minato says), since moving at “full speed” in a straight line is easy for an enemy to counter. He then notes on the next page that Sasuke has attained a “high speed body just like me”. So, don’t you think it’s strange that Lee sees Sasuke’s speed pre-Chidori and post-Chidori, and directly compares both of them to his own speed? If Sasuke got a massive speed boost there, instead of just moving at “full speed”, like Lee notes, wouldn’t Lee say something about that? Good video but some addendums i had: Sokka is not a master swordsman. He's decent at best. In the comics he sparred with zuko and zuko washed him easily. Noting specifically that he'd trained a lot longer than sokka. Katara can't bloodbend without the full moon. So unless the scenario was taking place during one, she can't do so.
First point, Sokka is a master swordsman, but so is Zuko. The supplemental material confirms as much. Second, fair point. I knew that, but included it because people wanted me to talk about it lol. She’s washing Sakon with her water bending anyway.
@@sageofthickcalves I might sound a bit egotistical by saying that even if a supplementary book or poster says that sokka is a master swordsman, I disagree. At least in regard to the sokka during the show, maybe adult sokka is a master. He had like what 2 days of training and now he's a master. I know it's a cartoon but there's limits. Plus he never bests any named non benders or bender in general with his sword. He only beats a couple of unnamed non benders during the eclipse invasion. When he faced piando, it's clear that piando is holding back, considering it was a test and he was complementing and critiquing sokka throughout their bout. And he still won mind you. When sokka faced another skilled swordsman, zuko, he got washed repeatedly. Frankly, I think sokka is a trained swordsman but not a master by any stretch.
I enjoyed this video, but what I think is funny is I'm pretty sure you still lowballed Aang. I'm not super well versed in VS categories, but the feat you gave him was, I think island level for Kyoshi moving an island when there are also feats of similar or greater power. Avatar Szeto was able to cause the eruption of four volcanoes at the same time from a rather large distance, and Aang was able to compress water by what looks like at least 60% while fighting Ozai without turning it to ice, which, if that were possible, would require pressure equal to or even greater than what could be found at the center of the earth.

This got way more in-depth than I ever would've expected. I don't know what the strength of the webbing is, but I am fairly confident that Katara, being able to cut through steel/metal with her waterbending, shouldn't actually have that much of an issue with that part. Again, this is unless the webs have some crazy durability I don't know about
writing this as i watch thevideo issues with sokka scalin for one normal bending isnt implied to be very fast in fact even random non benders can dodge it and piandao was holdong back he also wasnt reacting easily he was clearly struggling he should be nowhere near the others in speed he also regularly fails to react to much slower opponents you're also massively underrating the naruto verse in speed they should all be around high hypersonic due to scaling to garaas sand which is hypersonic

Kimimaro in his prime scales crazy high in shippuden But part two is the same series where kirin is lightning speed in the manga and described as light speed in some guide, which is about as weird as Haku with ice mirrors and the speed to intercept a close range raikiri
Here's the thing, Sokka clogged the chakra of Combustion Man with his boomerang. So yes, he can do other things besides just cut something well and keep up decently with reaction speeds similar but lower to the rest of Team Avatar. He is also a strategist, and well learned in science as opposed to probably some others. People may sleep on Sokka for being a bender or just a swordsman, but I say he would be way more integral in combat strategies than just his main attack power. So while I appreciate him being used as a catalyst for Katara to break her rule on Blood bending, there would likely be scenarios where he survives, too. Maybe not as many as the rest of the cast overall, but still some timelines he absolutely could.
I’m not sure how a blitz tier is quantified but it is stated that the chidori/raikiri require the Sharingan in order to control it. In that case, it must boost the users speed enough to blitz their own reaction speed unless they boost perception with doujutsu. But I see what you mean. The lack of proof of an actual speed buff is crazy. Especially since Kakashi now uses it just fine without sharingan
The sharingan is required in order to precog the opponent’s counter attack. The user can react to their own speed just fine, they just can’t slow down and react fast enough to deal with counter blow. This is directly stated by Lee when he sees the Chidori in chapter 114.
Also sokka could've used the sharp end of his boomerang to stab himself in order counter sakon and ukon's body high jacking techniques. His boomerang is usually strapped around his waist or over his chest so it would've been a closer option in case his sword was to hard to reach.
One argument i could make is that partial nine tails cloak could react and counter haku's light speed mirror feat. Since sasuke scales above that version of naruto with his sharingan and his stage two curse mark, one could say that he is Faster than light.
The problem is that Haku wasn’t going all out, so it’s very likely he wasn’t moving at light speed. Also, saying 2 tomoe land of waves Sasuke can react to a light speed character while MS 5KS Sasuke has trouble reacting to Ay who’s stated to be “near light speed” is weird. So the consistent interpretation is that they’re nowhere near light speed in part 1. Also explains why Kakashi is able to blitz both Naruto and Sasuke in part 1, but gets blitzed by Haku.

That’s not what’s stated there. He just calls the jutsu fast, and says he gets tunnel vision from the speed. Do I think it amps speed to some degree? Probably. I was just pointing out that it likely doesn’t give the user a blitz tier increase, which is why I left the note on screen in that section.
Small note on Metal beending. In the AtlA show, Toph as only been showed to be able to bend metal she was in direct contact with. At best she bends the floor/ceiling in the zeppelin in the last episode, but there's still a contact. I don't think she could bend the necklace (no difference in the fight so wtv) and the flute. The only ways I can see the gang get rid of the flute and the Genjutsu would either be Aang's airbending stoping the sound, Katara freezing some water/humidity inside the flute or Toph/Sokka hitting the flute with something Tayuya didn't see coming (small rock/boomerang) things are a bit different in the comics and Korra but that is some time later and she would have had more time to experiment with her ability
Fair point, but you could just say since she’s massively faster than both Jirobo and Tayuya that she just takes the metal objects from them. With Tayuya, Katara could just take it out of her hands with water bending once she’s broken out. So there are methods around it
yeah for sure it won't make an actual difference in the result, just thought it was interesting enough to point it out. Also I just remember this but Toph cannot "see" properly on wood (as seen at the end of the episode "The Runaway") so she really couldn't do anything against Tayuya who was in the trees. once again, it's just an observation and wouldn't have any effects on the result. If we’re equalizing, chi and chakra wouldn’t that technically mean that they could all learn different chakra releases to enhance their bending. This could make them very formidable in the future.
personally i think sokka and katara would take their fight as tag team battle sokka would be smart enough to realize that its better for them and he would probably live due to that.
Suki would probably be better suited for this mission than Sokka, his strategies weren’t really necessary and it would be good to have 1 actual ninja on the team.
The chidori does amp up speed though.. as normally kakashi wouldn’t be able to keep up with guy in a head on battle… but with it activated he was able to Plus it’s in the description A high speed thrust of super condensed electric in the fist… Heck even MINATO the notorious speedster said that kakashi needed sharingan to keep up with the tunnel vision the speed caused
So there are a couple issues here. 1: Kakashi keeps up with Guy with raikiri, which is different than Chidori. It’s a higher rank and is stated to be “honed to its limit”. You could easily argue this could mean that it offers a speed amp due to the power increase. 2: Lee calls it a high speed thrust, but references it being a “full speed” beeping attack, which is something he can’t do because he wouldn’t be able to react to the counterattack. Notice he says “full speed”, not enhanced speed. Chapter 114 pages 4-5 btw. 3. Minato says it gives him tunnel vision, yes, but you can easily argue that it’s because he’s running at full speed in a straight line, as opposed to it actually amping him. I am open to the idea that it offers some kind of amp, but there’s no real empirical evidence for it.
@@rac2300 they literally are. I’ll say it one more time. Iroh moves his arm after the lightning has already started moving toward him, Zuko does the same with Ozai’s lightning, and Zuko even outruns Azula’s lightning. In all of those cases, Iroh and/or Zuko moved their arms AFTER the lightning had begun moving towards them, and were able to intercept it. This means they’d have to move faster than the lightning itself.
Looking forward to seeing the comics feats which could enable keeping up with the Akatsuki. Do you think swapping the fights of Sokka and Katara would have made a difference, given the particular utility involved?
29:51 Aang and Sasuke may not have the same bond like Naruto and Sasuke do but I think an interesting emotional battle would happen: both of them could eventually find out that they’re the last of their own tribes, with Aang questioning why Sasuke would want to leave ppl that love him. Sasuke would express his need to avenge his clan by killing Itachi. Aang, being the kindhearted person he is, would be thrown off his game for a bit, maybe leading to Sasuke brutalizing him. He’d wake up then, in the Avatar state like he did with Ozai and bully a CM2 Sasuke before holding him down. He’d be urged by the other Avatars to murder Sasuke because he’s a legitimate threat to the world like Ozai. Aang may even express their own words to Sasuke, but then choose to drop out of it and explain that he could’ve taken revenge on his own enemy, but he chose not too, even when Ozai misused his second chance. He’d explain how murdering Itachi wouldn’t bring any of his clan back and would express how dangerous Orochimaru seems and how he might not even be willing to have him fight his brother in the first place. He’d explain that Sasuke could just stay in the leaf, build up his connections and love his with others, grow stronger, capture Itachi and question him for answers. Sasuke would likely agree, but then the hatred of the CM might bring back his PTSD, massively amping him up to escape from the earth binds that Aang put him in… but, like with Ozai, Aang would spirit bend him. However, he prob wouldn’t take away his chakra because he can sense the external chakra controlling him and even fight off Orochimaru’s CM. What happens next is up to you. Either you believe Aang is stronger than the CM chakra in part 1(which should be the case since it’s def not Island level) and would be able to rip it outta Sasuke and purify/destroy it. Or, you want more development for Aang and say that the CM chakra is going to take over him until team Avatar murder Sasuke or severely harm him then take him back to the village, where Tsunade can heal and deal with him.
Sasuke curse mark lvl 2 is one of the strongest patterns , aka power boost amps of all the sound 4. Meaning it’s telling us it would be above the amps of the other sound 4. Which is a 10x amp. So lowballing sasuke gets a 10x in curse mark lvl 2😊

I think the Raikiri is S tier because it doesn’t have that flaw, it only amps speed to a level manageable for the user (2-3x) and therefore doesnt require the use of the Sharingan which help’s with Kakashi’s stamina in battle. The Raikiri might also be more potent, by “recycling” the chakra, that Chirdori uses for speed, into strength.

One thing in favor of chidori being A blitz above is kid Kakashi being unable to react to his own speed without the sharingun.
This was in the kakashi Chronicles, and it was not the Lightning blade yet because he did not cut through lightning with it yet.
He could react to his own speed, he just couldn’t adjust enough for a counter attack because of the tunnel vision effect. You could just argue that any Naruto character moving at full speed would suffer the same issue without dojutsu.

Katara needs the moon in order to access blood bending as far as I’m aware. That wouldn’t work on them so she probably dies just like her brother. Other than that, great stuff. I feel like doing the duo video would be better. I think team avatar gets beaten pretty badly if they fight the Akatsuki all at once.
In the episode “The Southern Raiders.” It’s shown Katara blood bending the captain of the ship. I ended rewatching to see if a full moon was visible but it was never shown just being mostly cloudy. However I would say there is a greater chance a full moon wasn’t then for it was.

I agree with basically everything you said. There are a couple of minor mistakes, three to be exact, but other than that, 10/10 video and definitely looking forward to the Akatsuki Duo video.
The mistakes were that, the Raikiri & Chidori function in the same capacity and are essentially, the same jutsu. The Raikiri is S-Rank because it achieved the feat of cutting a lightning bolt in half while it was Kakashi's hands. The Chidori is not S-Rank because it hasn't achieved that feat yet. Raikiri is the "Lightning Blade" because it cut lightning, and we know Kakashi called the Lightning Blade "Chidori" before he achieved the feat.
They have different hand signs because Kakashi is more proficient with the jutsu than Sasuke. We know the same jutsu can have different hand signs in different shinobi that have different skill levels. Tobirama performs the Water Dragon Jutsu in three hand signs while Kakashi performs it in a plethora of hand signs because Tobirama is more skilled with it. The same goes for the Fireball Jutsu, in which Itachi performs it in a couple of hand signs while Kakashi uses up another plethora.
The other mistake was that, CM2 Sasuke's Black Chidori is not the Onyx Chidori. The Onyx Chidori is the Six Paths-enhanced black Chidori Sasuke uses in the War Arc. I don't know what the name of Sasuke's CM2 Black Chidori is, but they are different.
The last mistake is that the Chidori does enhance speed, that's why it creates tunnel vision. It was stated by Minato that the Chidori enhances speed significantly & that's the reason Kakashi HAD the speed to cut a lightning bolt in half.

- The raikiri databook statement says it’s “honed to its limit”, so you could easily argue that the difference between the two comes in the absolute concentration of the chakra. But they are technically separate jutsu, it’s just hard to identify what exactly separates them.
- Minato never says Chidori increases speed. He says one of the drawbacks is the speed of the technique. That could just mean that moving in a linear fashion at or near your maximum speed creates a tunnel vision effect that’s hard to overcome without dojutsu. I’ve used that before too, but he never says or implies that the jutsu amps the user’s speed, just that the jutsu is fast.

The unofficial name at least in the games was curse mark level 2 "ominous chidori". But it's not canon.
@@sageofthickcalveswe know it gives you a speed boost for a few reasons. If it didn't give you a speed boost then essentially all the jutsu does is cloak your hand in lightning. We know it does more than that otherwise there wouldn't be a tunneling issue, the user could just run at their normal blitz speed. Kakashi even in the boruto era cannot perform the raikiri without the sharingan and its stated that hes only grown stronger since the war. We also have other examples of lightning style amping movement speed with Ay, its more likely than not that the raikiri and by extension the chidori increase movement speed.
@@tomithy_lo no because nobody else who uses it is without a sharingan. But we know that non-sharingan, or at least non-dojutsu users can’t use it because launching a full speed head on jab like that is dangerous without a perception amp.

This is very generous for team avatar. Katara can't use blood bending. Zuko burns down a forest that takes days to cross even for ninja. Zuko or toph break katara out of genjustu somehow. And the chidiri does give a speedboost because the user moves so fast they need sharingan to use it. If the chidori makes you move do fast that you can't react fast enough it has to be giving you a speed boost faster than your reactions.

You did go the more fair route but Naruto characters can scale faster , you did kinda lowball them. For example neji reacting to lee 4th and 5th gate , the same neji who can react to lighting arrows while injured , was outspeed and temporarily blitz by Naruto in the chinin exam. Making Naruto in nine tails chakra at least lighting tiers . Naruto gets another speed amp via 1 tails which Sasuke reacts and keeps up with 3 tomoe. Already cm1 Sasuke 3 tomoe is at least lighting + or around Aang lvls of speed. Add the 10x amp via cm2 and Sasuke is blitzing Aang
Hey sage im a huge fan of these videos and i want to see them kept up but i have a couple issues that don't make sense to me
So first off chidori absolutely gives a speed amp, kakashi made it as a child and couldn't use it until he got the cognition boost from obitos sharingan.
Second is there a point in the comics where katara uses bloodbending without a full moon? I know we have seen others in the universe do it but never her specifically from my recollection.
I also don't know if being crushed would kill sakkon and ukkon, these guys were split in two with half of their bodies ripped off and they were perfectly fine. Crushing them might be different but i don't think so.
Speaking of which im not sure toph using earth bending to hold jirobo under ground would work, it's probably hard to calculate how much force earthbending has behind it but this dude picked up a fully expanded version of choji, he had to weigh tons and jirobo had no issue lifting him.

- The Chidori MIGHT give a speed amp, but we don’t know for sure. Lee notes that the issue that the sharingan helps with is perceiving the counter attack (also what Minato says), since moving at “full speed” in a straight line is easy for an enemy to counter. He then notes on the next page that Sasuke has attained a “high speed body just like me”. So, don’t you think it’s strange that Lee sees Sasuke’s speed pre-Chidori and post-Chidori, and directly compares both of them to his own speed? If Sasuke got a massive speed boost there, instead of just moving at “full speed”, like Lee notes, wouldn’t Lee say something about that? Chapter 114 pages 4-5:

- She could rip the blood out of their bodies probably

Sokka is not a master swordsman. He's decent at best. In the comics he sparred with zuko and zuko washed him easily. Noting specifically that he'd trained a lot longer than sokka.
Katara can't bloodbend without the full moon. So unless the scenario was taking place during one, she can't do so.
First point, Sokka is a master swordsman, but so is Zuko. The supplemental material confirms as much.
Second, fair point. I knew that, but included it because people wanted me to talk about it lol. She’s washing Sakon with her water bending anyway.

He had like what 2 days of training and now he's a master. I know it's a cartoon but there's limits. Plus he never bests any named non benders or bender in general with his sword. He only beats a couple of unnamed non benders during the eclipse invasion.
When he faced piando, it's clear that piando is holding back, considering it was a test and he was complementing and critiquing sokka throughout their bout. And he still won mind you. When sokka faced another skilled swordsman, zuko, he got washed repeatedly.
Frankly, I think sokka is a trained swordsman but not a master by any stretch.

I'm not super well versed in VS categories, but the feat you gave him was, I think island level for Kyoshi moving an island when there are also feats of similar or greater power. Avatar Szeto was able to cause the eruption of four volcanoes at the same time from a rather large distance, and Aang was able to compress water by what looks like at least 60% while fighting Ozai without turning it to ice, which, if that were possible, would require pressure equal to or even greater than what could be found at the center of the earth.

This got way more in-depth than I ever would've expected. I don't know what the strength of the webbing is, but I am fairly confident that Katara, being able to cut through steel/metal with her waterbending, shouldn't actually have that much of an issue with that part. Again, this is unless the webs have some crazy durability I don't know about

Here's the thing, Sokka clogged the chakra of Combustion Man with his boomerang. So yes, he can do other things besides just cut something well and keep up decently with reaction speeds similar but lower to the rest of Team Avatar. He is also a strategist, and well learned in science as opposed to probably some others. People may sleep on Sokka for being a bender or just a swordsman, but I say he would be way more integral in combat strategies than just his main attack power. So while I appreciate him being used as a catalyst for Katara to break her rule on Blood bending, there would likely be scenarios where he survives, too. Maybe not as many as the rest of the cast overall, but still some timelines he absolutely could.

I’m not sure how a blitz tier is quantified but it is stated that the chidori/raikiri require the Sharingan in order to control it. In that case, it must boost the users speed enough to blitz their own reaction speed unless they boost perception with doujutsu. But I see what you mean. The lack of proof of an actual speed buff is crazy. Especially since Kakashi now uses it just fine without sharingan
The sharingan is required in order to precog the opponent’s counter attack. The user can react to their own speed just fine, they just can’t slow down and react fast enough to deal with counter blow. This is directly stated by Lee when he sees the Chidori in chapter 114.

One argument i could make is that partial nine tails cloak could react and counter haku's light speed mirror feat. Since sasuke scales above that version of naruto with his sharingan and his stage two curse mark, one could say that he is Faster than light.
The problem is that Haku wasn’t going all out, so it’s very likely he wasn’t moving at light speed. Also, saying 2 tomoe land of waves Sasuke can react to a light speed character while MS 5KS Sasuke has trouble reacting to Ay who’s stated to be “near light speed” is weird. So the consistent interpretation is that they’re nowhere near light speed in part 1. Also explains why Kakashi is able to blitz both Naruto and Sasuke in part 1, but gets blitzed by Haku.

That’s not what’s stated there. He just calls the jutsu fast, and says he gets tunnel vision from the speed. Do I think it amps speed to some degree? Probably. I was just pointing out that it likely doesn’t give the user a blitz tier increase, which is why I left the note on screen in that section.
Small note on Metal beending. In the AtlA show, Toph as only been showed to be able to bend metal she was in direct contact with. At best she bends the floor/ceiling in the zeppelin in the last episode, but there's still a contact. I don't think she could bend the necklace (no difference in the fight so wtv) and the flute. The only ways I can see the gang get rid of the flute and the Genjutsu would either be Aang's airbending stoping the sound, Katara freezing some water/humidity inside the flute or Toph/Sokka hitting the flute with something Tayuya didn't see coming (small rock/boomerang)
things are a bit different in the comics and Korra but that is some time later and she would have had more time to experiment with her ability
Fair point, but you could just say since she’s massively faster than both Jirobo and Tayuya that she just takes the metal objects from them. With Tayuya, Katara could just take it out of her hands with water bending once she’s broken out. So there are methods around it
yeah for sure it won't make an actual difference in the result, just thought it was interesting enough to point it out.
Also I just remember this but Toph cannot "see" properly on wood (as seen at the end of the episode "The Runaway") so she really couldn't do anything against Tayuya who was in the trees. once again, it's just an observation and wouldn't have any effects on the result.

So there are a couple issues here.
1: Kakashi keeps up with Guy with raikiri, which is different than Chidori. It’s a higher rank and is stated to be “honed to its limit”. You could easily argue this could mean that it offers a speed amp due to the power increase.
2: Lee calls it a high speed thrust, but references it being a “full speed” beeping attack, which is something he can’t do because he wouldn’t be able to react to the counterattack. Notice he says “full speed”, not enhanced speed. Chapter 114 pages 4-5 btw.
3. Minato says it gives him tunnel vision, yes, but you can easily argue that it’s because he’s running at full speed in a straight line, as opposed to it actually amping him.
I am open to the idea that it offers some kind of amp, but there’s no real empirical evidence for it.

@@rac2300 they literally are. I’ll say it one more time. Iroh moves his arm after the lightning has already started moving toward him, Zuko does the same with Ozai’s lightning, and Zuko even outruns Azula’s lightning. In all of those cases, Iroh and/or Zuko moved their arms AFTER the lightning had begun moving towards them, and were able to intercept it. This means they’d have to move faster than the lightning itself.

29:51 Aang and Sasuke may not have the same bond like Naruto and Sasuke do but I think an interesting emotional battle would happen: both of them could eventually find out that they’re the last of their own tribes, with Aang questioning why Sasuke would want to leave ppl that love him. Sasuke would express his need to avenge his clan by killing Itachi. Aang, being the kindhearted person he is, would be thrown off his game for a bit, maybe leading to Sasuke brutalizing him. He’d wake up then, in the Avatar state like he did with Ozai and bully a CM2 Sasuke before holding him down. He’d be urged by the other Avatars to murder Sasuke because he’s a legitimate threat to the world like Ozai. Aang may even express their own words to Sasuke, but then choose to drop out of it and explain that he could’ve taken revenge on his own enemy, but he chose not too, even when Ozai misused his second chance. He’d explain how murdering Itachi wouldn’t bring any of his clan back and would express how dangerous Orochimaru seems and how he might not even be willing to have him fight his brother in the first place. He’d explain that Sasuke could just stay in the leaf, build up his connections and love his with others, grow stronger, capture Itachi and question him for answers. Sasuke would likely agree, but then the hatred of the CM might bring back his PTSD, massively amping him up to escape from the earth binds that Aang put him in… but, like with Ozai, Aang would spirit bend him. However, he prob wouldn’t take away his chakra because he can sense the external chakra controlling him and even fight off Orochimaru’s CM.
What happens next is up to you. Either you believe Aang is stronger than the CM chakra in part 1(which should be the case since it’s def not Island level) and would be able to rip it outta Sasuke and purify/destroy it.
Or, you want more development for Aang and say that the CM chakra is going to take over him until team Avatar murder Sasuke or severely harm him then take him back to the village, where Tsunade can heal and deal with him.

Sasuke curse mark lvl 2 is one of the strongest patterns , aka power boost amps of all the sound 4. Meaning it’s telling us it would be above the amps of the other sound 4. Which is a 10x amp. So lowballing sasuke gets a 10x in curse mark lvl 2😊
