In this video I walk through the #orientalmarket in #managua #nicaragua. This was my first time in Nicaragua and I got to experience the culture of the capital city there in Managua.
I like Nicaragua. Not sure I would live there but I like it. Managua is busy but not as pretty as say Grananda or maybe Leon. Bluefields is maybe the second largest city.
Limited black people at Managua, when you go inside a market, and you are looking for food, ask them: Los Comedores, that means, The Kitchen Area, and try your best to use google translator, to interact with natives Spaniards, they will not understand whatever Spanish you are throwing at them!
The served in a bag, because they are going to be charged for the bottle, when they purchase more from the trucks, if that was a plastic container, then they will not put it in a plastic bag, when it's a glass bottle, you either pay for it, Or they will serve it in a plastic bag!!
My bf is from Nicaragua and I have him watch this with me lol he said cola is in a bag and not a glass bottle because it’s more money in a glass bottle 🤣 and that the old who sold you the water and soda in the stand overcharged you. He said it’s normal foreigners get “special” prices
He also said because you had your phone out recording 1. You were lucky no one took it and ran lol and 2. It’s why people were more tame around you and not grabbing your hand and trying to drag you into their booths to buy something which is normal behavior to foreigners to stress them into buying things
This is awesome man! Wish i was there.
You would enjoy it!
Do you like Nicaragua? Would you consider ever living there or getting residency! Is Nicaragua fun or does it get boring after awhile?

You should visit Bluefields, Nicarauga. That's the city along the Caribbean coast where the Jamaican descendants live.
Thanks for watching. I actually visited there and I just uploaded the video.
