- Managua is the capital city of Nicaragua as well as of the department of the same name. Located on the southwestern shore of Lake Managua, it is Nicaragua's largest city, with an estimated population in 2016 of 1,042,641 within the city limits[ and a population of 1,401,687 in the metropolitan area, which additionally includes the municipalities of Ciudad Sandino, El Crucero, Nindirí, Ticuantepe and Tipitapa. the city was declared the national capital in 1852. Previously, the capital alternated between the cities of León and Granada. The 1972 Nicaragua earthquake and years of civil war in the 1980s severely disrupted and stunted Managua's growth. It was not until the mid-1990s that Managua began to see a resurgence

Love your Vid , people are courteous to guide you if you’re lost but just be careful while filming , I’m from the north Esteli , cool city to live in but again you gotta watch your Cell or Camera .
Probably one of the best videos of Managua that can be found on TH-cam! I had seen the city before but videos around Managua that are long and good are hard to find, specially of the inner streets as most of those I've checked out were rides around the avenues and most important places; this one shows a much detailed journey for the fact that it is on foot.
I can say that you were walking around some neighborhoods that didn't look very friendly, maybe from 15:00 to 25:00, at least by the look around I can say that walking by in a similar scenario here in Argentina there's a very good chance to end up being robbed! ... maybe it doesn't work the same way around Nicaragua or was just a matter of luck not to come across some thugs with shitty intentions hahahah =D
Driving in Buenos Aires *Fed Sher* good point, but he didn't get robbed because Nicaragua is the safest place in Central America, but sometimes by obvious reasons you can't be lucky in some dangerous places.
I am a Filipino, if I would go to Managua, I would perfectly fit into the environment, same market scene, same noise, even the music fr the karaoke are the same, I would concede that Nicaraguan nose are more defined

You have great videos. This is my suggestion to improve the videos. Make the videos to be shorter. One hour is too long. Shorter but more frequent videos is better than one long video. Also, if you concentrate on places that there are lots of people, shops, building, etc... , your video will be more interesting to watch. If you walk in a deserted street with nothing interesting to see, you may lose some audience. Besides walking and creating a video which is great, you can do the same while you are sitting in a taxi for example and create a video if the streets as well. Anyway that is my suggestions,
The longer the better, in my opinion. And it's the randomness of what he passes and sees that I am into, even if that is sometimes an "empty" street. The videos capture the reality.
