This was a good exercise of several methods. I like the use of mirrors and the projection to lessen work. I don't know why you didn't draw most of the part at one time from the top x-y plane and extrude them. Rather than draw the central portion, extrude, draw the tabs, extrude, make a new plane, draw, extrude. I studied your solution. Then, drew all but the upper tab from the top view on the first x-y plane. I next, generated the 15mm plane and projected its components to extrude. I now extruded all that was on the first x-y plane. For the last tab I followed your method to draw from the part's top face. My solution: Not really much better. It was less physical work. But, more thought and planning.
It was fun to do your solution and mine for practice. Thank You. [Note: You were better in 2020 than, 2022/23.]

Another great tutorial. I found projection into the plain a little bit tricky, because it does not work "too much visually" - I tend to overlook it's efect/output and retry to apply it again.
    Thank You!

I started my youtube channel because of the covid. The labs are the ones I use in the class or for my course. They are designed to cover the different subjects, but exercises are used to strengthen what you learned from the labs.
