    Nicaragua sounds like its focusing on its own and putting Nicaragua 1st as it should.

    The new airport in Managua should have a bridge over lake Managua to connect the city. That would be faster.

      I doubt it is for the city. It's for the mountain cities. Managua's airport is more than adequate for the capital.

      @@ScottAlanMillerVlog that airport is going to be only for cargo if I’m not mistaken. With its 21 new gates this new airport could get flights directly from Europe and Asia.

      That would be an epic bridge. We could build a lot more airports, railway lines, spaceships for the cost of that bridge. It would be about 10km over deep water. Definitely possible, but on a scale that would never be plausible in this part of the world.

    Hi Scott, can you talk about what append to the volcano in Masaya ? I have read that yesterday, a piece of the top fell in and is blocking a good part of the hole. They also register some activity according to someone on French Nicaragua expat on Facebook. I immensely enjoy your endless informations on Nicaragua. Thank you and have a great day 😊👍🏼

    I want to build a house at the end of the runway on Ometepe and use the rest of the land as a dog yard 😁.

    The new airport will be built about 50 kilometers from Managua, and will be a 4F category, that means, bigger and better than the others airport in the region!! The actual airport is not good anymore!!!

    It would nice to fly into LIR then catch a Sansa flight to ECI instead of traveling through MIA and driving down from MGA, particularly from the Midwest and Western US. I’ve tried to interest people into visiting the Emerald Coast but they balk at a 3 hour drive through Nicaragua.

      Sansa only just returned to Managua. I just saw them flying in this past week for the first time in a long time. And it's only from the capital, much farther away. Even if Esmeralda was at tip top shape, Sansa likely has no interested in it.

      Sansa served LIR-ECI about a year ago, not sure for how long or when they discontinued the flight.

      It's definitely made it tougher and keeping a lot of money out of Nicaragua!

    New content idea : does Nicaragua have a city like Cayala, Guatemala ?

    • @ScottAlanMillerVlog
      @ScottAlanMillerVlog  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sadly the answer is just... no. No one does, that's super unique.

      I'm walking distance from Cayala right now (I've literally walked to it from where I'm having a beer,)

      I've noticed you have many questions about Bilwi (Puerto Cabezas), what is your interest there? I kind of get the impression that you have the feeling that it is a normal, viable city like Nicaraguan cities that we show on the show. Is there something drawing your attention there? Even for the rare Nicas that have an interest in the Carib coast, which is almost zero interest as it is, none of them have an interest there.
      You should watch "Worlds Most Dangerous Roads". That's the road to Puerta Cabeza that they famously show on there.

      If your goal is super hard, super poor, super remote jungle life that's awesome. I really want to get out there and explore, it'll be cool. But cool in a "going to the jungle and seeing how hard things are" kinda way. Not in a "someone will choose to live here" kind of way. This is a "leaving civilization behind" kind of place, as I understand it. The distance to anything is so extreme.

      @@ScottAlanMillerVlog thanks for the link.
      I am just curious because it is very hard to find info. I understand it is not touristy at all and a very poor area.

      @@cleaneatingwithclaudiaepic4895yeah, definitely hard to find info and I want to go out there and do a lot of filming. But the lack of info is "intentional", because it's so not what anyone is looking for. Bilwi (its real name) is like a river village on a remote bit of the Amazon. Interesting, but not what people are looking for, lol..

    Hey Scott. Hope you are doing well..We have a question. We have been watching a few reality channels on TH-cam. Just to see the houses. We notice one thing some realtors put the houses for reasonable prices. However, there are 1 or 2 that are basically the same house or similar for a skyrocketed price. How does this type of thing happen? Are people really buying these houses at this price when it is obvious the realtor is price gouging. I would think people who can afford the type of money these houses are being listed at would have enough intelligence to know they are getting ripped off by these crooked realty businesses.

    • @ScottAlanMillerVlog
      @ScottAlanMillerVlog  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Most likely nothing you see is a reasonable price. All of it is to trick you into thinking that high prices are normal and that the "low" prices seem reasonable because of the random super high prices. This is all a trick and your reaction of "some are reasonable" is exactly why it's dangerous to look at these fake online listings. They are designed to change your opinion (or set it initially) of what reasonable is in a market you can't verify in.
      All the prices you see, ALL of them, are just random prices being listed to get your attention. nothing else. Asking prices aren't generally known. Each person posting just makes up a price and posts it. None of them are likely associated with the home at all. In some cases it isn't a real property.
      People who have money are rarely well informed about money. It's not always true, but it is generally true. Having a million dollars to waste doesn't imply that you are brilliant with money. Being rich is almost entirely luck. Loads of wealthy people are clueless. ANd when you are rich, you are often more isolated. Famously Mariah Carey thought electric was free even though she grew up poor. She lost what little common knowledge she had as a child by being famous.
      You have to remember that everything you see is a facade there to lure you in. Not some of it. All of it. And all parts of it. Does the house even exist? Is it even for sale? Does it have an agent? Is the price real? Are other houses selling? It's all fake. The market is slow, prices are low, and never, ever do legit people work with agents.
