Thank you for including a more mainstream TV in your reviews. I'm sure most viewers wish to own the biggest and the best, but reality and budgets sometimes dictate otherwise. I appreciate your efforts to do a thorough review yet keep it brief. I'm sure that's not easy. Cheers!
Finally the u6n review I recently purchased one and waited to see a review of it it really is the budget king right now and who would know it would beat similar priced options from major brands like Samsung I do think it’s gonna be one of the higher selling budget models of the year in terms of Hisense TVs
She means hiring a professional to calibrate the TV. They have sensors to check for the color accuracy. But I don't work professionally with the color accuracy, so I don't need to calibrate the colors, but I do need to lower the contrast and the saturation to my liking.
My U6K purchased a few months ago has the exact same QC issue with a spec of black debris stuck between the panel and outer layer. It's not noticeable in most situations unless I'm looking for it, but still disappointing.
I wish I wasn't a tv snob as I could save myself a lot of money. Just the other day I was in a golf shop where they had a cheap Vizio tuned to a PGA tour event and the picture looked great. It was just a 42" size so that may have had something to do with it. Lager sizes can show picture quality issues more. If I was in the market for a tv now I would probably buy either the U7K or the U8K if still available and call it a day. Or wait on this year's model's price to drop and buy one of those. A U6 model would be more than good enough for my bedroom.
How would this one compare to an A80J? I understand that we are talking about a complete different technology (OLED) but what would you buy between those two today at the same price? (100% usage with Disney+/Netflix, 60% cartoons for children, 40% movies/documentaries)
I am thinking about buying Hisense 85 inch great Contras and color on U8N model but is it very durable product or Buying Samsung QN 90C for picture quality and is it more durable ? By Paying $1300 extra Please
I'm really leaning towards buying this TV, but I hate the legs on it, which I know is an odd complaint. I use a pretty slim electric fireplace as my TV stand, and at its widest point it's not quite 12 inches, which means I'm going to need to get a giant piece of wood or something just to put this on top of it. I really would've preferred a middle stand like they have on the U7N, I just don't want to pay an extra $300+ for it.
Maybe the wrong place to ask, but is it possible to rename the inputs on this TV? Right now everything is just HDMI1, HDMI2, etc. not the end of the world, but wouldn’t mind changing them to say Nintendo or AppleTV if the TV allows it
No, Bravia 3 does not compete against TCL and Hisense premium TV's, it can compete with TCL Q6 and maybe even this Hisense U6N. Bravia 3 doesn't have local dimming, the brightness is around 500 nits, 43" 55" and 75" sizes according to Rtings has IPS panels that with the lack of local dimming make the TV looks terrible in dark scenes because the native contrast from the IPS. For gaming Bravia 3 doesn't support VRR, 1440p or 120hz. The only PRO that Bravia 3 has is the image processing.
@@thatsamazin- Some people associates the price with the quality, they think because the Sony Bravia 3 is around 1000 dollars or more is because is at the same tier than TCL or Hisense premium TV's.
@@thatsamazin-the x90l competes very well with Hisense and tcl. It might only be local dimming instead of mini led but it has amazing color and the processing is much better than the tcl and Hisense.
@@peanuty9291 It’s a solid tv but I think I would aim slightly higher for the x95l if I was trying to “beat” the Qm8 or U8N at a reasonable price. It seems to compete a little better than the x90l on the rtings reviews.
I’ve been waiting for my 12 year old lcd tv to die so I could get an OLED. Darn thing still won’t die. Moved into a new house so pitched a 65”. I bought the Hisense U6N thinking I’d hate it and return it. Absolutely love this tv. The options and connectivity are great. is it bad? I am looking to buy this tv for dark room viewing. So I do not need brightness like that of u7n. But I want black bars that are completely black when watching movies,, How is the blooming?

This is good timing because it saves me from buyer’s remorse. I love Sony televisions but the good models are pushing $2000.00. Maybe I’ll think about the Bravia 3 series.

Awesome review however why is no one talking about or reviewing the QD7 which has gaming features and 120+ refresh rate
We purchased the Hisense QD7N 8 days ago! We'll hopefully be testing it soon, but it hasn't arrived in our lab yet
