Just installed pred 670 swamp runner on my 1542 ...what should i look for in a battery? Thanks .. I'm excited to get this beast in the farm pond for some testing
I like this video. Been thinking of buying one of these for many years One thing I would like to know is if you know is how to remove the main drive shaft from the tube I think the male spline will unscrew from the shaft then the driveshaft will slide out of the tube I think cleaning and greasing may extend the life of the bushings and driveshaft I am not sure I will buy the very best drive tube I do like that you bought the 100 inch shaft instead of the shorter I think the smaller angle will help TNX
The male end of the main shaft did unscrew with just my hand. I went ahead and put never seize on its threads just in case I ever want to remove the shaft and clean/lube the bushings. The reason I got the longer shaft was to keep the motor more level to help with the oiling of the engine. The SPS kit seems to be a great one only thing I can say is it needs to be cleaned before assembly because of manufacturing residue left on the parts. I still haven't had a chance to test it out but will make and post a video of that soon. Thanks for watching.
Excellent video! You got me ready for this journey lol. Did you have to do many modes after testing it? I read about stage 1,2.3 kits. Did you go that route? Thanks for sharing!
I still haven't been able to test out the motor, Can't get the boat registered. I am going to make a video when I am able to run the boat, Hope to post soon.
Nicely produced video. I'm a new subscriber. Once you get the hang of that TLT, I have a feeling that you will be upgrading to a medium or large kit in the future.
Your a mind reader, I am already thinking about the medium kit. Only started here because the 212cc motors were on sale. I ordered the A series SS 100 inch shaft which also fit their medium kits. Don't have papers on this hull but will make a few trips anyway. Louisiana makes it almost impossible to register a hull once transferred from person to person without registering at every transfer.
Couldn't find a direct link , I just Google Search Swamp Runner. They are located in Palmetto Florida. I am going to buy a med. kit soon for a 14 HP motor. I couldn't get the 14/36 hull registered and bought a new 14/48 hull.
Nice, detailed instructions. Great job. I've been seriously thinking about putting together a rig like yours for the shallow, summertime river nearby.

Not sure, hate to give advise in case it doesn't work out. Thanks for watching.

Haven't been able to get the hull registered, looking for another. Hope to do an on the water test to post soon!

@@SRadigFishing I recommend going with the 459cc on the SPS medium kit instead of the 420cc. Don't think you will be disappointed.
Could you drop a link to the kit
