Tollywood kadu, Indian movie.
The western world will laugh at some of the scenes because they do not know the strength of the tribal people of India. They grow their own food, they build their own houses, they are always on the move. They were one of the pivotal parts of the India freedom struggle. They know how to make medicines out of what is available to them. They have super strength like Bheem and Raju shown here. Yes, only some of it is elevated in the movie. But the bridge scene, animals scene at the party, the tiger catching scene all are extremely true depictions of what the tribes of India are capable of.
Not just tribal people but the Urbanised people who followed Brahmacharya and Akhada discipline were strong enough to kill tiger with bare hands for e.g the famous freedom fighter Jatin Mukherjee famously known as Bagha Jatin. Or broke a Bull's neck. Like professor Rammurthy Naidu

I love this movie. It's just ridiculous fun. Especially that dance scene. It's like an entire evening at a club compressed into three and a half minutes. This movie is three hours with the intensity stuck on 11. There are no attempts at pretending there's even a whiff of realism anywhere, it's pedal to the metal from start to finish and you almost never see such a commitment in Hollywood productions nowadays.
I dunno about no realism… the cruelty and evil of the British Empire seemed pretty accurate and in fact true history documents even more horrific stories than the ones told here.

@@ritamirza8553 As a rule, you should never look too closely at a 'hero' if you want them to remain one. There's almost always some dirt there, the stories tends to gloss over. If they had adressed it, we would be talking about an entirely different kind of movie.

In Europe we have human towers like those you see in the film, in Catalonia, the country around Barcelona. They're called 'castells' castles in english and are 'mounted' since many generacions by grups colled 'collas'. Many villages haver these and they even compete in a BIG event in a stadium or something... in Valls i think. It's completly amazing and you should'nt miss it. Visca Catalunya Lliure and hugs and kisses ;)

The weirdo in pink soils his pants for Disney Star Wars and MCU Stage 4 but this film being over the top was too much for him.
When they were both staring at the buildings in the distance, Ram was looking at the armoury where the weapons are and Bheem was looking at the Palace where the girl is.
I loved this movie. It takes a good amount of understanding it, like it's a fairytale. Similar to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, once I understood it that way, I was able to thoroughly enjoy it for what it is. I can't wait to see your reaction to the second part

The director desires to use practical effects and set pieces and use vfx only if it's necessary. Hus baahubali movies look so good because of that.

The characters are actually real. You will see a forest fight scene at the end which is completely real. Freedom fighter named Alluri Sitaram Raju actually faught like that with bow and arrows and fire. The fictional part is that the two of them didn't meet in real life.
Tbh this reaction was annoying. I know you are trying to have fun while watching. But it sometimes bother me because you don't seem invested in the scene and the emotions director is trying to portrait you kind of make mockery of it. It's just my genuine thought no hate to you all. Love

The “i didnt do any wrong” part is to make the Hindu language fit the original Telugu spoken scene. The original Telugu text/script is a lot better than the Netflix Hindi version.
This movie got appreciation from " RUSSO BROTHERS - directors of Avengers " they interacted with this movie director SS Rajamouli and wants to work with him. There is interview video of them in Netflix TH-cam channel.
They had not worked together before this movie. One of the reasons that the movie is named RRR is because it is the first time that three of the best (Ram Charan, S. S. Rajamouli, and N. T. Rama Rao) had ever worked together

Some little fun facts here and there for you guys!
Both of the main characters here are meant to be famous freedom fighters in the battle for Independence, these two in particular are almost mythologized. We don’t know a lot about their pasts, so this is supposed to take place early on in their lives before they properly became forces of revolution.
15:01 this is actually referencing what we know about Komuram Bheem’s early life in that he would often hunt and wrestle tigers in his youth. So debatably that’s true lol
In terms of the scene with the snake and the antidote, there are some tribes (like Bheem’s in particular the Gonds) that have a form of understanding that even some scientists don’t immediately understand. My guess is that Lacchu, the captured guy knew the Krait’s strike range from sound and could catch it in his hands
Fun fact : no they never did a movie together prior to this movie because there were no production that had the money to make these to work in a single movie and sometimes there collide

No, the two lead actors were never in a movie together! From what I heard, they're actually the two most famous actors in the Telugu movie scene, and one of the main draws of this film was them being together on screen for the first time.

RRR should win Oscars for defining a different meaning of cinema. No movie ever made in the past could even come close to the fun and pure excitement how RRR gives. It's not your typical Hollywood or Bollywood movie it's like a whole different genre of cinema.

Great review guys..glad you liked the movie. One suggestion though, this movie demands the biggest screen possible and the best speakers for the awesome sound experience. If am not wrong, each of you had 1 ear pod in your ear...so you did not even get the full stereo experience...next time when you watch the original Telugu version, try to plug in your home theatre and notice the difference. :)

I know there are some physics defying scenes in the movie but so does every Hollywood movie have those scenes. Example- Superman flying at supersonic speed. He only has his asshole but it cannot give him that boost when flying and no one questions but in Indian movies "How is that possible hahahahaha"🤣
Exactly that! Even aside of sci fi and fantasy, action movies like Die Hard etc are totally unrealistic but no one questions it because they grew up with it. But if they know the movie is from elsewhere then it's "there is no way, it's not realistic" etc... because unconsciously they look at it with a more critical eye, while failing to do that with their own movies. I'm not Indian myself and I never questioned action movies like that because it's just weird. Action movies are never realistic.
