A few comments on the movie on details you might have missed: 1) The bridge-rescue scene forshadows the movie! Akthar/Bheem is rescusing the kid (he is on the mission to rescue Malli), while Ram is holding the flag (his mission is rescuing the country) and dipping it into water (remember: Bheem is Water!) to do so. Not only do they foreshadow their intentions (Bheem jumps for the kid and Ram for country), they also exchange the missions and won only after helping each other.... 2) Right after Bheem fights the tiger he is dressing up as a muslim (white cap and necklace with muslim text/symbols). Ram knows these dress codes and recognizes Akthar as Muslim. When Bheem is rescusing Ram from snake venom, he sees Akthar briefly praying at a Hindi althar. For Ram, THAT is the moment he starts to get suspicius, which gets confirmed when he sees the holy thread. 3) The vertical line drawn by someone on someone elses forehead is a blessing: Sita does it in Rams home village, and blesses him in the name of mother Godevari (the river goddess of that part of the land). Bheem does it in the climax scene in the forest, and blesses Ram in the name of Lord Rama (which seems to have made him an incarnation of Rama for the following action). 4) ALL animals in the movie (except the horse in the Dosti-Song (Friedship montage AFTER the bridge scene) were CGI, even the horse on the bridge! 5) Watch some of the behind the scenes and making off videos. It is unbelivable how much of the movie is CGI which you don´t recognise as such. 6) The motorcycle that was used at that time was about 58 pounds, so weilding it the way Bheem did was over the top, but not so much over the top as you might think. 7) Telugu (the language of Tollywood movies) is spoken in Andhra Pradesh and Telengana. Alluri Rama Raju (after Sitas death Alluri Sitarama Raju) was a real freedom fighter from the region of Andhra Pradesh and was born 1897, fought from ca. 1919 to 1924, when he was killed. Komaram Bheem was a real freedom fighter from the region of Telengana, born into a Gond tribe in 1901, was a freedom fighter from about 1919 to 1940, when he was killed. The people in the song at the end were freedom fighters from other regions of india: - Subhas Chandra Bose (1897 - 1945) from Bengal - Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (1875 - 1950) from Gujarat - Rani Kittur Chennamma (1778 - 1829) from Karnataka - V.O. SS Rajamouli was very positively surprised and happily added her to these scenes.

This reaction was FANTASTIC, glad you guys enjoyed this movie, probably one of the best action movies in the last 5, 10 years, solid story, it sucks you didnt have the subtitles on cause the lyrics of the songs were pertinent to the plot, they explain a lot - you can still go back and watch the songs, especially the first one where they become buddies, and the last one where they're paying respect to some of the Indian revolutionaries. This isn't a Bollywood movie, this is a Tollywood movie, a separate movie company that is also in India, it's very similar to Bollywood. 2. the statue that Bheem and Ram got the Bow and Arrow from was Ram, He was a freedom fighter in the 1920s and Bheem was a freedom fighter in the 1930s. both Ram and Bheem are seen as gods according to Indian beliefs (from what I looked up.) 3. The film portrays two real-life Indian revolutionaries- Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. These two men actually lived in early 20th-century but never met (that we know of) and this film is a fantasy about "What would have happened if they did?" Their names happen to also mirror two characters from the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, which are 2 epics that are incredibly important to the Indian culture. In the first, the main character is Rama (Ram), who is an avatar of the Lord Vishnu (and his wife is Sita/Seetha, also mirrored in the film). He was a master of the bow and arrow, and the statue that we see in the final fight (and also earlier when Raju goes to write his letter) is of the Lord Ram, not of Alluri Sitarama Raju. In the Mahabharata, one of the main characters is Bhim/Bheem, who was a half-god and had the strength of 10,000 elephants. This is why in the film, Bheem is able to rip the prison door off the hinges and toss motorcycles like they were toys. Because of the coincidence of the names, it was a given that SS Rajamouli would combine elements of the epics with the fantasy of the story. Baahubali 1 & 2 (by the same director) is fiction just like RRR. There are lots of amazing Indian movies. Glad you guys started your journey with RRR. Songs express emotions and establish relationships. "Komuram Bheem" song is not only an insult to the tyrants who thought their torture will scare them, but it also inspired the public. Might sound alien to foreign ears, but songs are used to inspire people. Revolutionaries attend martyrdom singing and laughing. Many songs were banned across India. So Bheem/Akhtar singing throughout the punishment was not abrupt to the Indian audience. Also, instead of wasting 10-15 mins explaining how Ram/Raju & Bheem/Akhtar's relationship; the 'Friendship 'song after the train incident conveyed their bromance well.
You should’ve had subtitles ON for the songs especially. It would’ve been more meaningful and would’ve made more sense to you in certain scenes. Anyway, great reaction to a great movie guys! ✨

The English sound dubbing seems quite funny, it doesn't suits the characters. You should have watched it in it's original version or in hindi version. English dubbing totally ruined the essence if this movie.

In the Mahabharata, one of the main characters is Bhim/Bheem, who was a half-god and had the strength of 10,000 elephants. This is why in the film, Bheem is able to rip the prison door off the hinges and toss motorcycles like they were toys. Because of the coincidence of the names, it was a given that SS Rajamouli would combine elements of the epics with the fantasy of the story. The English sound dubbing seems quite funny, it doesn't suits the characters. You should have watched it in it's original version or in hindi version. English dubbing totally ruined the essence if this movie.
