    Fantastic video showing and describing a new concept with a ton of cookies and secret features and inside-baseball terms. You kept the lesson going but never raced ahead leaving everyone behind.
    Top of the pile among all the similar xshow me" videos.

    Another great video, thanks! Beginning to wish I had waited for the OpenSpot2 instead of buying a jumbo spot.

      Not sure I understand the question, it's like any other DMR radio, TS2, TG9, color code 1. 73 Pascal VA2PV

    What is the range on the openspot2? The wife and I go camping a lot but we don't go very far from the campsite.

    I did a fast search to find where I can get openspot2 and have trouble finding a place to get it. I must be doing something wrong. Can you tell me where I can get one. Didn't see it on Amazon, or Ebay.

    I'm a long haul trucker Canada and US. , do I need to go into the menu when ever I want to change different reflectors?

    • @Laboenligne
      @Laboenligne  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Tom, you can program 5 different profile that you can recall with DTMF. See how in the Openspot 1 review, it's the same for the new version. 73 Pascal VA2PV

    It looks good but, I don't like the way SharkRF has dropped support of the old unit like it never existed. There are a lot of them out there.

    • @Laboenligne
      @Laboenligne  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Rohn, I think you can still update the reflector list and this is the most important. For the rest there was so much update that it is very stable. 73 Pascal VA2PV

      Not as bad as the DV4Mini. They took the money then run. DV4Home.

    This seemed to be a very good and informative presentation, but as a new person to digital stuff, you went way to fast. And I do understand time constraints..

    Good review great product. Zumspots and others are trash. I don't care if they undercut ham radio outlet and such thats there problem. If you want something dependable and not screw with shitty pi star crap buy one and just talk. I am sick of you cheap ass hams buying zumspots and china spots then whining about it doesn't work right or endless radio checks on tac 310. Buy something that works and be done with it.

      That's all depends on your need but for DMR the best hotspots are the one that support auto calibration (like the OpenSPOT 1 and 2), otherwise it sound terrible. 73 Pascal VA2PV
