I find it’s easy to bring a night light & plug it into the socket in the bathroom. I’ve stayed in the deluxe balcony & it’s nice to have the sofa to relax. Thanks for your video. I’m on the Discovery next April for a Solar Eclipse cruise & have a Deluxe Balcony Guarantee so I’ll be interested to where my location will be as some balconies are larger that others according to the deck plans. This will be my 1st cruise with a guarantee.
I wasn’t on this Princess ship but I was just on the Regal Princess June1st in the British Isles. I was in E130, forward, a deluxe balcony. It was larger than the other balconies. Our balcony extended out further. I loved it! Also talking about the little sofa. My cabin mate and I ordered free room service a few mornings when we had early excursions. So we sat on the sofa then. I did use my balcony a few times only since our temps were only in the 60’s most days. I would actually get E130 on another Princess cruise if they are the same setup. I haven’t been in the Discovery as you. Thanks for the video! Oh, by the way I agree about the shower curtain, lol! And I agree about great pressure in the shower!
Thanks for the video. I will be on Sky princess next summer (about to book), and needed to know the difference between regular balcony and deluxe. You said you would show the premium deluxe, and was looking forward to that, but it wasn't part of this video. Was it in a different one?
Thanks for posting. I’m considering a short 4 day on this ship with no ports and only sea days. My wife and I love sea days. Just not sure if I want a standard or deluxe balcony for another $80. We will probably spend at least one full day in our room to relax.
I'm guessing you'll be on this between California and Alaska? If so it's likely to be chilly and possibly foggy for part of the trip. If so you might not spend much time on the balcony.
@@LetsAllCruise Correct… Los Angeles to Vancouver…a repositioning cruise. I figured we may as well get a balcony since the ocean view cabins are currently the same price with the special they are running. An interior is $200 less. If the Oceanview was $200 less then we would book that instead.
@@AronRoss72 I'm sure you'll enjoy it! And you're right to go for a balcony. In fact on that ship I think they only have about 6 ocean views, they're all right at the front. It's a nice ship and Vancouver is a great place to visit. You sucke right in the middle of the city too.
@@LetsAllCruise We actually did an Alaskan cruise out of Vancouver last May with Royal. Spent two days in that city and LOVED it! Alaska was even more incredible! The entire trip was life changing! Figure we will spend some time in VC again after we get off. Also trying to figure out if Princess Plus is worth it. We are not heavy drinkers and have no need for wifi. We like being off the grid for a few days.
@@AronRoss72 yeah I've done an Alaskan cruise once before and it was amazing! Sounds like Princess Plus isn't worth it for you but make sure you check everything that's included.

Solar eclipse on a cruise ship.... That's a great idea! I hadn't thought of that

Premium deluxe is the same as this room but with a bigger balcony. That's the only difference! Hope you have a great cruise
Thanks for showing details of the cabin. I look forward to sailing on Discovery in October.
You'll have a great time!
is the mattress soft, medium or firm?
