The Red Cross Craps Strategy - A Perfect Iron Cross!

- The Iron Cross is one of those strategies that seems like it should win, but really struggles in reality.
This version of it, which we worked on with Waylon from @waylonswaycraps just might be the best version to date.
Check out our live runs on CGTV so see it against live dice.
• The Red Cross- Day 1 -...
• The Red Cross - Day 2 ...
• The Red Cross - Day 3 ...
• The Red Cross - Day 4 ...
• The Red Cross - Day 5 ...
At the core, we have a normal Iron Cross setup, but we're adding a Don't Pass to start things off. Here's how it sets up
4 Units on the Don't Pass ($20 or $100)
5 Units on the 5, 6, 8 ($25/$30 or $125/$150)
3 Units in the field ($15 or $75)
Where this thing rockets off is in the game play:
1. RACK EVERY BOX NUMBER HIT.
2. USE THE FIELD TO: Add Box Numbers, Press Them, or Add Hardways.
3. Play the Line Baccarat style, with both a ladder on the loss and a parlay press move on the wins. Flip from Don't Pass to Pass Line as the points are made or missed.
This thing is a money maker!

Awesome video brother! I think we got a winner is right! We did a great job on this one! Like you said play it smart and this thing rocks
No doubt!
Geared this down for Bubble Craps & you're right, what a fun play!
$10 Level with same ratios, $50 per shoot, $500 Bankroll. Couple shoots went long, let the Field build the Box numbers, and cashed out a 100% win, sweet!
Get some pretty wild swings in fortune, but what a fighter. Oh, and don't sleep on the DP Parlay, let the base rise with success (= $$)
The DP/Pass parlay thing is really what gives it the longevity that a standard Iron Cross simply can't get to.
I like the way you explain the strategy
Great Video John!! I love your strategy and when I gave it a try I was able to do well. Thanks Mr. John!!😆
Starting to get serious about Craps and Ohhhhhhhh yeahhhhh!!! As a hybrid style of player that plays the dont but places numbers I love this! Probably one of my favorites I’ve seen.
Easily the most profitable strategy we play here. On the daily paycheck (on the @casinogamingtv channel) it went 17-3 over a month span.
Great video and collab. Really seems like a winner.
I think so too!
OK, now I'm homing in on some of the 'under the layout' details about edging. First, the travelled DP has different edges!!!
Thus, shouldn't the resulting play reflect that? Maybe different, fewer bets for some numbers?
Travelled don't edges come in 3 flavors: 4/10, 5/9, and 6/8. So should this betting play! :O
So, when betting the DP/DC on the CO, a 2, 3 are better hedges than other bets because the 2, 3 hedge help to 'tame' the terrible vig for the DP/DC on the CO. However, after the point has been established, there will be 3 different edges, which suggests 3 different volatility levels need to be incorporated into any DP edge play.
So, hedge the DP on the CO, and vary the edged bet based on the point. Perhaps sisters if you want to lower volatility. Never ever place the travelled DP. It's 'careless'.
So, for a $30 travelled DP: 4/10= +$2.50, 5/9= +$1.67, 6/8= +$0.83; Advantage!
Clearly, the edge levels vary by the proportions of 1/2, 1/3, and 1/6.
So, shouldn't your betting levels reflect that relationship?
Like I said, I'm catching details. And, are you sure that an IC is the best way to utilize a travelled DP/DC?
I don't. You are attaching a grind (the IC) to an edge (the travelled DP/DC). Porquoi?
The small edge of the travelled DP/DC six and eight immediately suggests a high volatility prop bet 'pump' for $1 only.
The DP/DC 5/9 maybe Hardways.
And the 4/10 can carry a 6&8 easily.
So, I'm saying $1 level for a DP 6&8, $2 level for DP/DC 5/9. The $2.50 level gets the 4/10.
I think you are burning through your edge to quickly because of an unresolved proposition.
Is it better to cover the entire action of the edged bet, or just the vig?
The answer is simple, leave vig in place so you actually still have some advantage.
But, you must also not overbet your edge.
These are cardinal sins in my congregation (GDGs): Chasing Losses, Forcing Bets, French Betting, Over Betting your Buy In, and Over Betting your Edge!!!
Otherwise, it's all entertainment.
great system, hedge coverage with the Don't and with a couple of nice rolls you at worst break even.
I like this one
John - As of 19 May 2023, I think this is your best daily paycheck to date. At least according to the numbers. Looking forward to the month long roll out.
I got really hosed on this on during some recent practices. Should be interesting
Really like this one you guys. Like you say John, the key is hammering that back and forth bet on the line. If you ladder up Waylon style and you use the parlay press, It can save your butt. It has saved my bacon more than once. If you utilize that, this strategy has a real strong ability to fight back, unlike a regular iron cross, which just kills you slowly. You just need to have a bankroll and a big pair of cojones when that line bet grows huge lol.
Be really careful if you get chop though.
@@ProCraps yeah that is true. That's the scary scenario. Also if a 7 shows up consistently every five or six rolls It can be hard to gain traction. But I played this on Crapsee and it's been winning session after winning session. There was a couple times where it got a little scary, but it fought back .If this thing can survive Crapsee it's pretty stout in my opinion lol
MUY interesante!
One of my faves, for sure.
Great channel I watched you come ladder strategy. Do you have a stop loss for that? Thanks man
Generally I like to have 7 units per shooter, 10 shooters.
So for a $5 table that’s 70 reds or $350
Multiply that up based on table minimum
Where are the other videos for The Red Cross? You said you were going to attach a link to other videos. Please send me the link. Thanks!
Look in the video description. I've linked them all there.
John, how would you attack this on a $5 dollar table, vig up front? Would you place the 4,9, and 10 on the first field hit? Would you play it at a low level on bubble i.e. $1 = the units?
$25 5 … $30 6/8 … $15 field … $20 line
And then the field you grab the 3 uncovered numbers for $5 every hit until they are quarters. Then probably stop with the field and press the daylights out of it.
💪🤠👍
Can you place a bet on the point?
Certainly. From the Don't, I'll often do that if I'm already at my goal and lockup that win.
I’d think about adding part of field of to odds
I've done that once I work the box numbers up a level that I'm happy to just keep collecting on.
You said “it’s obvious we don’t place the point “. Why not? Wouldn’t it be a hedge??? On my way to WinStar Casino and want to try it.
If you’re in the pass line you certainly don’t. But on the don’t, I like keeping that 7 as a clean winner
I’m still not clear on why we are doing the line betting or when to ladder up and down. Please expand.
Watch the videos I link in the description. I ran this live for a week on my other channel. You’ll really see how those line bets help accelerate the wins.
I was struggling w this as well. I'll be sure to check out the other video. Awesome video.
why not use some field winnings on DP odds?
You can absolutely transition it dark if you so choose. I think most people inherently want to play light side for "free" to catch a whale, so this is a way to get there.
Rolled this out on Crapsee 10 times with 10 shooters. Lost 90% of the time. Got to say though, I roll out almost every strategy I see on TH-cam on Crapsee and it murders them all 90% of the time. I would love to try this on a real table though.
Crapsee is rough. And this weekend we had about 25 straight shooters go less than 2 rolls. If you hammer the don’t as a part of this, that’s the big saving grace. It’s the difference maker in my runs of it.
Did you watch the live trials I did (linked in the description)?
I am watching those now lol. I really like the concept of this strategy and theoretically it makes sense as long as you are hitting 5, 6, and 8 to reload your rack. It's the downward spiral you fall into when you either point 7 out, then swap to DP and 7 and 11 start to whack you. I'm not sure what to do once that happens and it literally happens 70% of my play throughs.
For example lets say 20 on DP couple rolls then player seven outs. Then press DP to 40 and then 7 or 11 pops up after. Do you remain at 40 until point gets established. This happens a lot have had couple play throughs where literally 3 sevens in a row show before point is established on come out roll. Hard to recoup losses with 5 6 and 8 when can't even get a point established. Was wondering what you do in that situation. I see in some of the videos in that series you are not playing field or placing box numbers either so I'm kind of lost.
Crapsee is crap
PC playing a iron cross semi dark
It starts as dark, but the baccarat style on the line can flip sides with the tide.
Folks are taught to take $30 on 6 or 8 and bump $12 and collect $49: Not your smartest choice. Here's the One "most common time" where you put $1 extra on 6 or 8 and make $2. So, bump $30 to $43 and make $51 each time: yep make $2 extra for $1. Way better mentally to Know you get 2 greens and a white with each hit.
The trouble with non-standard bets is that many houses won't let you make them. Even something simple like a $25 6/8 gets stink-eye and in my local casino, they just will not take the bet at all. (Tribal casino)
PROS DON'T PRESS! there are better ways to be friends with the casino than giving back all your money
That's not true. Pros don't press until they're in a power position. This is no different that working the markets. You have to make your money work for you, otherwise you're doing all the work. There's a time and a place and a good way to do it, but if you're not pressing, you're going to bleed out.
@@ProCraps Yes but pressing immediately after your first win? You haven't made enough to cover your fixed losses yet. You should press after you are 2X above what you have on the table or use a hedge
Waylon’s Bacarra style is flawed by the law of probability. That being thatvprobability starts over with each role of the dice. What came before has absolutely no bearing on what is about to happen. There is no such thing as trends and craps. They are just happenstance in the moment.
That is absolutely, 100% correct! However, the line play on craps, just like black and red on roulette can become very streaky. So the baccarat style of play is just a way to try and catch a streak early if you can and get in and get out. There's no guarantee to it, and of course, the chop will murder you. But I have found that this method works so well when you just lock into a quick 3 in a row from either side.
Watch the Daily Paycheck where I ran this strategy 20 days in a row. The line saved our bacon at least 5 times. A couple of times it totally burned us and it was not needed the rest.
This is a strategy where on it's face I was like, meh, Waylon, I'm not sure we can rely on it. It's fun, but can we depend on it. Then I ran 30+ sessions back to back and color me impressed.
@@ProCraps
I love it when the reply is that’s 100% truth… However. Lol
Betting, so-called streaks is a good way to go broke. I would never counsel anybody to develop a betting strategy based on so-called streaks.
Streaks only exist, and can only be viewed in the past tense. It’s just that plain and simple John. You have a brilliant mind and I respect you but counseling people to bet based on streaks is a mistake. We can agree to disagree.
I don’t think so according to the galactic force you can ride a wave so you better be surfing
