Glad to see this strategy presented and immediately go so deep in hole, shows the potential of grinding it out. You always do such a good job of explaining your every movement that you are making. Thanks
Thanks for the realistic assessment of this strategy. Waylon showed me this and I like it but it’s not perfect. Every strategy has drawbacks but this can be tweaked. What I really like is how the Double unit Bets on the 4 and 10 balance out the DP on a 7 come out roll. The ratio is correct. One idea is to not bet on the DP and bet on the DC instead. Again Waylon suggested this idea and he had many other Strategies that are very interesting and involve pressing and regressing which I think works. But you need to have a Bankroll to succeed. Thanks for keeping it real! 👏🏻😎
What happened in this video is what I see in a lot of sessions when im charting. The 4's and 10's were rolling/trending ahead and the sevens were trending behind. Then what happened? The sevens came back "Catching Up" seeking distribution "balance"and you came back up . Then again the 4's and 10's rolling ahead. So what is my point? The distribution 7's to 4's and 10's ratio is critical to this strategy. If you will pay attention to the sevens it will keep you from going deep into your bankroll when the sevens are not rolling in your favor. There is nothing that says you have to play this every hand. Why not play when the sevens are in your favor? I believe there may be an ideal sevens to 4's and 10's ratio that would make this play almost unbeatable!!! Best of Luck at the Tables!
Hello John I know that the DP is part of this strategy however, I don't really see the need for the DP as the Lay's on the 4 and 10 are plenty to deal with IMO. The reasons I would drop the DP are 1) Losses to the 11 on the come outs. 2) Losses to a point winner. 3) Decreases value on the Lay 4 and 10 on a come out 7 due to the DP loss. 4) You are correct in that you cannot ladder the DP. Just my opinion but I think I would stick to the Lays and skip the DP on this one. Best of Luck at the Tables!
Lay the 4 & 10. Take a hard way bet that pays 7/1 as your hedge bet. Odds are now 7/2 in your favor. ( you rolled a few hard ways) P.S. When you lose one lay bet now you have to win "twice" to get back to even.aka lose 10 and win 5. Have to win "twice" to win 10 units.
Amazing strategy, i play this already long time. But you can make it much more easy and saver. And the winnings are the same. Because of the don't come bets it's possible your ladder is getting very fast high and run out of chips. Just play the ladder with the 4 & 10. If there's a 7 coming out 3 of 4 times after each other, you don't loose your money on the don't come bet and you fill your rack faster. And if you play the point you also don't have to go higher on your ladder without a don't pass bet. Just play the 4 and 10... you will see. I'm on a winning strike for about 3 months now.
Speaking on dice sets I’ve done this and it may just be me or it’s a contradiction. As a DP player but love playing in the box, I set my dice to all sevens and I feel like that’s helpful to me because I know I’ll double pitch but boy is it pretty coming out of my hands 😂🤷🏾♂️ Maybe I’m getting superstitious
John, do that let you Lay an Odd number on the 4/10? Don't they say it should be even number since it pays 1:2? I understand when you be both you actually have Layed $150 to win $75, but I am wondering if casinos treat them individually.
What happens is that they'll short you, so $75 would pay $37.50 for each so you get $37 for each bet, netting $74 (or $75 for $1). Definitely better to punch those in at a proper $76 or $80, but for our purposes here, just making them $75 is easy on the eyes. If I make or lose $500 in a session like this, the $25 or so in shorts and vigs (the "house edge") stings, but it doesn't hurt all that bad.
Interesting strategy, but every strategy has an Achilles heel....but...I think I'd prefer the 3-Point Molly from the Don'ts over this for a few reasons. One is no vig. Granted no vig in your casino, but every other casino there is a vig that will eat into this strategy of the lay 4/10. Two, less bankroll requirement, less risk, no laddering requirement. Three, paid even money on the DP/DC and true odds.
I've tried that ... it seems like 2, not 3 is the butter zone for the don't. That's a great strategy on it's own merit. This one succeeds because of the streaky nature of these 2 numbers in specific. On a garbage table, I pull this one right out. In the chop? I think your idea of a molly from the don't is a better play.
That's my favorite way to play this. I do that on the Don't Pass all the time, but less so on the lays. Although I think in the 2nd half of this video, that's what I did.
Tried it but blew out the bankroll on too many 4/10's ended up getting to table max on 4/10 lays only to be nailed by another 4 then another 10 and finally the 7 after not enough left to go back up.
First of all ... love (maybe hate?) your username. Too many late nights dealing with kernel issues to count. But yeah, as mentioned, this strategy requires a large bankroll. 100x your base bet at a minimum. It's designed for the long term to skate through those down trends that are inevitable.
Yep. I do that a lot when I'm dealing with flat bets like this. No odds being played here. So, it focuses the watcher on the units we're playing with. They could be reds, greens, blacks, whatever. It's all about the rhythm, not the amounts.
@@jimklemens5018 That's because they're all black. I have trouble differentiating everything but the reds. The whites aren't too bad, but the blacks and greens really blend sometimes unless I'm watching on the 24" monitor or a TV. I'm sure they look amazing in person though.
I had a REALLY rough session about 5 or 6 months ago, but this has been a pretty good staple other than that one. All of these strategies have a hole and dice some days seem like they just pin point those. Sorry you had a rough go of it. Better luck as you keep on playing.
BROKEN Ladders do NOT work you will always wind up chasing loses with greater losses. And 4/10 very deceptive in its 7 coverage. Pick 4 or 10 never 4 And 10 [ 6 way loss]. The 7 is powerful but remember there are 30 [out of 36] ways to Not roll 7.
That is very very true. But for those with bankroll, laddering is an option. My job is to show how these things work live and let them play them out. Hopefully along the way interesting enough things happen for us to talk about it.
With a strategy like this, you need $2k to survive the down turns. Any sort of laddering, you need at least 25x your base bets to make it happen ... more if you can.
Glad to see this strategy presented and immediately go so deep in hole, shows the potential of grinding it out.

I think that flat bet winning on the points being missed helps offset the lesser payments on the lay.
You hit the nail on the head…Play the GR without the DP

Lay the 4 for 200 work the hard 4 for 30, if little Joe show, go home
I'm leaning alot watching your videos !!!!
That's awesome
I like that you can win at this strategy at any level.
The lowest you can really go is with $30 lays and a $25 DP ... I've done that a few times and $1000 is really cutting it close!

I do like this one, but it can get a little bit ugly in the wrong circumstance for sure. Will keep tweaking it with Waylon as we go.

I call the 4 :3 = 7 . The Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth bring out Mickey Mantle .
