I just found your channel and I’m really enjoying your content. Your ‘use case’ is similar to mine in Australia - solo overlanding. From the outset I developed an obsession about weight and taking seats out was my first move before I started. Taking weight off the roof eg RTT and awnings and replacing with a couple of kilos low down is pleasing. I also have my own aluminium section structure inside (as opposed to 30kg drawers). I look forward to more content coming in the future.
Thank you! More content soon, life has kicked in so busy at the moment, but will be posting again soon for sure.Agree on the weight issue higher up, TBH, just not necessary in 95% of cases, but, each to his her own on what they buy and put on their vehicle. GVM is very important, but so many people simply underestimate the weight they add to the vehicle, which will add trouble sooner rather than later. Thanks for watching
So long as that space saver is the same overall circumference then there should be no issues 😊 Ignore the rolls 😂 My air con condenser rad has had it and the front lower arms 😢 Glenrands here we come!
Hi mark, just joined your channel. Very thorough in how you approach and care for your vehicle which l like. I have just bought a 2011 autobiography l322 4.4 tdv8 so l am interested in your modifications. What OBD diagnostic tool do you use to resent fault codes and identify issues . Thanks Chris Hill Melbourne , Australia
I'm thinking of buying a 2012 l322 but I currently own a lr3 hse , i feel the lr3 is more square in the rear instead of being tampered in the rear, I have built my lr3 into a overland build. I am not sure I agree about the comments on toyota. I also own a yota Fj Cruiser that's really built into an overlanding beast. I love a manual transmission. Mine is a 6-speed manual with a Magnuson supercharger. I own many vehicles, and they all have different driving experience. I hope to find a discovery 2 to build because of the solid axles that give you more articulation. But for me, choosing a l322 vs. a l405 I love all the interior knobs and switches and square look over the modern look of the l405 . The only scary thing about a l322 with the 5.0 510 hp is timing guides is very expensive repair, but l322, you can buy one under 5k 😊
Hi Mark, I hope you’re well and enjoying life. I was wondering if you will be doing any more TH-cam videos as you haven’t uploaded one for a few months. Missing your videos, or have you given up on TH-cam 🤔😢👍
Thanks for taking the time to answer all these questions. I love the L322. Looking forward to the next video.

Mint build mate!! Looking to get into a l322 Autobiography asap, and will build very similar externally.
