Martinair Cargo MD-11

This video shows the beauty of Martinair's MD-11's. Slow motion was shot of a takeoff and landing at homebase Schiphol Amsterdam. The volcano is the Cotopaxi in Ecuador. You also see the aircraft parking at the new Quito airport, an important export location of flowers.
The MD-11 carries a maximum of 90 metric tons of cargo. It was never really successful as a passenger aircraft but this bird has just the right mix of volume and weight carrying capability for cargo operations. This means you'll be able to see the beautiful 'Mad Dog' flying around for a while to come.
