Maggots swarming on dead deer

This young deer was probably hit by a car on an access road at the Southwest Area Park in Baltimore, MD. Maggots and flies are ugly and horrifying but they are nature's way of cleaning house. 😔

lol this young deer was along the side of a road, so i assume it was road kill. :(
