    I've probably seen at least 50 home improvement shows that "install" a waterfall edge counter and this is the first one that actually shows the entire install process. Really cool. Great channel. I'm impressed every week.

    Love the counter but I would’ve done a mosaic tile for the backsplash just to have a little contrast

    • @tomruth9487
      @tomruth9487 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nathan A. Yeah, you're right, I always think some sort of tile like large format looks better than the countertop material for the splash. Actually, waterfall countertops like sliding barn doors are going to be dated features in homes. Ok for people that have the money to remodel every 5 years.

    Question: does the waterfall edge sit on top of your flooring? We are having a quartz waterfall installed and not sure how to account for the LVP. Like the quartz shouldn't sit on top of the LVP, bit how would you get a seamless look around the waterfall

    Can you guys recommend a way to fix small chips or divots in the waterfall quartz? I have a small chip in mine, about an eighth of an inch wide and deep. I tried filling it with MagicEzy stone repair but that method didn't work well. Actually, I have two small chips that have to be filled. One chip is in the middle of the countertop and of course, the other chip in along the edge. Would really appreciate your help. Thank you.

    So with the weight of the island slab + the silicone I can definitely see those not going anywhere but what about the smaller slabs across from it?? Simply held down by the back splash slab with the silicone? Outside of that though is that how that normally goes? Depending on the sheer weight of the slab to keep in place it is there always something on top keeping it down or silicone applied underneath?
