You should try all the Sunbelt series of roses from Kordes if you want something that blooms all summer, loves the heat, and is very healthy. I have South Africa, Soul Sister, Plum Perfect and Desmond Tutu. They are gorgeous.
Great information. Thank you for sharing your experience. If you could leave the pictures/videos of your roses (and possibly the names) up much longer, that would add to your content. It gives the viewer something to look at when you’re speaking. 🙏❤️
Also, I'm currently looking for a climber which will only get sun til around 2pm. I was pretty much sold on Iceberg based on some of the local Facebook posts stating how it bloomed through our recent hellish summer and is quite fragrant. However on researching, it appears that climbing Iceberg has low to no fragrance and a fragrant rose is very important to me. I'm not interested in Peggy as my space is limited. Wondering if you've had any input on very fragrant/ disease-thripe resistant climbers? Oh, btw, I already have climbing Pinkie and it's doing beautifully after 1 year. I believe it's more behaved for limited space than Peggy.
So I've heard good things about Kiss Me Kate, Teasing Georgia, Don Juan, Perfume Breeze and Florentina. In general, any lighter white, cream, light pink roses will be the most susceptible to thrips.

I love the strong smell of a Rose !! I would love to investigate the Peggy Martin 🧐👍
It'd be a great choice for y'all!
Will climbing roses burn if they grow on metal gazebos or trellis in places where it goes up to 105+ degrees Fahrenheit?
