I’m so glad I came across your videos! I have fond memories of the old Phillips Beach Plaza!!! I always wanted to stay in the apartments in the small white building, it was so beautiful back in the day! And the dining room in the main hotel was amazing originally it was Phillips by the sea, the dining room was gorgeous! HUGE Tiffany chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and art deco Tiffany stained glass back light panels! And the food was amazing! Later years Kelly’s place occupied the basement, it was a little coffee shop/breakfast bistro and a convince store was down there as well. It’s so sad to see it in this state! Breaks my heart! But I’m happy to go inside again through these videos! Excellent job!!

Thank you so much for the kind words! I enjoyed reading your reflection of the good times you had at this place. You did a great job at painting a picture of what former beauty was held here.
I'm glad my video had the ability to take you down memory lane! 😊
I never realized that those were apartments though! That is super super cool!! 😄

I found a picture of the dining room from the Phillips days but it won’t let me post photos here, but if you google Phillips by the Sea Ocean City MD and look under images you’ll see a pic of the dining room right under those arches you saw, along with the Chandeliers

One of my last meals in Ocean City was at the Beach Plaza on the terrace. Delicious Eggs Benedict with a Beach Plaza Crab Cake! I wonder if the planned Jimmy Buffet property for this property is still a go?

That's really cool. I bet this was a really nice spot! As far as I know it is, but there were some delays because two of the developers died in skiing related accident. ☹️

@@lastadventurer to be continued...It was a nice spot. I was staying at the Sahara down the street and was walking on the boardwalk looking for a breakfast place and that's the first place we found opened. I'm glad we did because we sat at the porch, the food was good, and now you took us all back for one last look. Thank you. It was a heyday
