    My plan is to go thru your videos and make a list of all the things you could add to a junk journal. tags, belly bands, pockets etc. I feel like if I had a list that would help when making a journal. Love your style!

    Things like this always happen to me. I don’t realize something is a problem until I’ve used it for a while. I love your fix. And adding something so simple like the rounded corners just really made it look so polished. Love this.

    What a great, seamless, "renovation" Barbara. It’s so in keeping with the original design, it looks like it has always been there.
    I love how you go back through your journals and improve and update them.

    Great solution! And oh my, those desserts sound so yummy, especially the hot version. Tried to think of a yummy traditionally Aussie dessert to share with you. There is of course the ever famous Pavlova, a crunchy meringue shell filled with a soft marshmallow inside, topped with cream & fresh fruit. Or for lovers of creamy desserts, there’s the vanilla slice that traditionally has 2 layers of puff pastry sandwiching a thick vanilla custard (or vanilla crème custard), then topped with a passion fruit icing - served cold. Or the Lamington Sponge cake - layers of light vanilla sponge cake are coated in a chocolate glaze that soaks in a bit, then they’re covered with shredded coconut flakes. Then it’s filled with fresh whipped cream & strawberry jam (or jelly for our American friends). Our iconic desserts tend to be cold due to our frequently hot weather, although it’s ridiculously chilly here in the tropics despite it not even being winter yet. Down to 6 deg C or lower in the normally very hot Queensland. But of course my dog just insisted on me getting up to make him breakfast at 4.30am 🐶 Brrrrr ⛄️

    I think maybe they use cookie or graham cracker type of crumbs for the ice cream version. Even if I can't pronounce or spell the name, I am gonna try to find a recipe for both types. Sounds absolutely delicious!!💖

    Yes that gap would bother me too. 😋😋😋 that looks and sounds super yummy. That's my favourite brown paper! I can't manage to spray the glue evenly, it just splats 😄 it's good for adding mica on top though to make a sort of marble effect. 🙊 give it your awl 🙊. Looks great! I'll definitely remember to do the flap next time. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖

    Hi Barbara. I had one of those whole making thingys ... they are super duper loud and you have to do that motion several times to get a hole even with paper. It's not hand/finger friendly especially if you need a few holes. Mine also didn't last.

  • @elenalaskari4739
    @elenalaskari4739 ปีที่แล้ว

    Dear Barbara hi! I love love your "renovation" of your junk journal cover! You made this so "clean" and beautiful that it looks as if it was there from the very beginning! I also loved the dumpling and the ice cream version of it! Slourp! 😋 ❤❤❤❤ I also have a proposal for you: could you consider of making a series of videos with a 10-12 minutes max procedure where we could gather specific materials (generics of course) and follow exactly your steps, to make something beautiful and jj related each time? It doesn't always need for a thing to be completed in just one video, it could sometimes take two or three videos to be completed. And maybe at the end of this series we could combine all these things to make something bigger like a whole jj. I know that your snacks videos somehow relate to this proposal, maybe these could be "child" of snacks for jj newbies or for people like me that cannot make time for organizing and making something that needs more time. Of course you could also ask if there is interest from your subscribers for that. I would love to hear from you! Sweet greetings from Athens, Elena ❤❤❤❤

    • @49dragonflies
      @49dragonflies  ปีที่แล้ว

      Dear Elena, thanks for your kind feedback and suggestion. I feel like my JJ Snacks is the closest ai can do to that. If I make them a series, from experience I know viewers unfortunately drop very quickly.

    • @elenalaskari4739
      @elenalaskari4739 ปีที่แล้ว

      @49dragonflies Dear Barbara, Thank you for your prompt answer. When I wrote series I ment like a collection of videos based to the same idea. And maybe just a few of them could be continued to a second part if needed. But I understand that your snacks are somehow close to that. Thank you for your always inspiring videos!
