Definitely use your paper scissors for mixed paper and fabric. The paper will dull your fabric scissors, and they won't work well on fabric anymore. As someone who sews, that's a big deal for me!
I absolutely agree. Paper dulls the scissors too much to be able to cut fabric properly with them afterwords.

I was just rushing in here to say that before I forgot. Lol. It reminds me of the time (about 15 years old) I used my Dads face razor to shave my legs. I cleaned it REALLY good after I was done. Don’t know how he knew. But oh my gosh he was mad. He said leg hair dulls his razor. I have no idea if it really did. But I never used it again. Lol. Yeah, don’t dull my fabric scissors.

I would love a video on how to print digitals. What printer, what ink and what paper.
Definitely keep your fabric scissors just for fabric, or else, overtime your scissors will be definitely dulled. Never use them with paper. I always told my kids and hubby, “ touch any of my fabric and you will die!” They always avoided them. Love all these papers of yours, Barbara.
Used pink because it was already set up in the machine, I don’t sew but I would guess it take a while to change thread colors!

I just love your tulip card! I only use fabric scissors for fabric, as paper dulls them snd makes it more difficult to get clean fabric cuts. So if there is any paper, I always use paper scissors.
I loved this video! Using up bits and pieces is so much fun. I really, really wish there was a liquid glue that dried matt!!!! Yes please, I would like to see what happens at the Art Journal Festival.

Lol pink thread in machine.,., yes please do a video of the different glues ,. It is still confusing at times for me, even after 3years of doing this. I think it would be helpful to have a video about the glues you use and whether they wrinkle the page, dry quickly, and work on different mediums like paper, vellum, or fabric.

Types of glue should be universal. Brands are where things go iffy. Some products are the same just different names in different countries. A basis to start would be great. Thank you

Dear Barbara, If you need to cut a piece of paper that has fabric on it ALWAYS use paper scissors. Fabric can't hurt any scissors - Paper CAN & WILL hurt fabric scissors. (LOVE your new rusty digitals)
I think a definitive answer on what kind of scissors would be best for paper and fabric, you could find out from Ronda Winstead! Right??? She is also a quilter, and is always using both materials! Oh, and a video on glues would be awesome! I think the reason you used pink thread was to pull in the pink from the top of the page. Thanks for your awesome video! An art journal festival sounds so fabulous! Yes, of course a video of it would be ultra exciting!!!!

Great video I enjoyed it very much and was inspired. When I'm picking up my mess desk from crafting I often stop and make things out of the leftovers. I actually find that to be my most stress-free way of creating. Blessings for your Sunday

I knew that flap was going to bother you! Great solution! When in doubt about which scissors to use I always use the paper scissors. Better to fray the fabric with dull blades (which looks good anyway) than to ruin your fabric scissors. I definitely want to see a video from the Art Journal Festival!

You can always use a clear sellotape for tip ins to avoid losing the text x
soak your old bottle of art glitter glue in very warm water...it will loosen it so u can open it easily...take it all apart and clean all surfaces...especially the threads on the bottle and in the cap...I find I have to do this several times a year...works great...good luck...always nice to have a spare bottle on hand...

Great inspiration for creating with things we have around. The glue video would be nice, however if you would make suggestions on substitutes that most countries will have available when using Austrian options.
