this worked on my 2015 Rav4. Programming on the electric lift struts got out of sync and wouldn't open more that 1/3 of the way. Did a re-program and works perfectly now. I thought the lift struts were bad. Thanks for sharing this video. Was very helpful.
Thank you for this video. It solved the problem on my 2019 Highlander LE plus. The lift gate was only opening part way,. My son was pressing the button on the hatch, this must have changed the setting. There is so much technology in this car, it is a steep learning curve. The manual is as thick as War and Peace. You can learn anything on TH-cam. Love my Highlander. George, Sarasota FL.

Suddenly my liftgate would only go to eyebrow height. Ouch. Watched this video and just like that: problem is solved. And I really like when a Hoe To video is only 1 1/2 minutes long because that is my attention span!

What's the maximum and minimum distance between the centers of the end attachments on the actuators? Looks like they have potential for replacing hydraulic cylinders for convertible tops on classic cars. I can envision them being used by customizers and hot rodders for all kinds of things.
My rear door starts and stops trying to close. I have stood various positions no luck. End up hitting button in the car. No videos on this problem coming down then stop and back up with no obstruction except me standing arm length away. Why?

Hi, i had toyota xle awd 2017. And i had a problem opening my lift gate, it only opened half way and stop. But closing the lift has no problem. Hope u can help me out this problem. Or i should bring it to shop? Thanks.
Hi jeff how ru . I have landcruiser zx 2014 i have prob with auto lift gate which is not works with smart key and also button on the lift gate . just giving beep two time once you push the button . I think the power gate was closed last time with hand force by mechanic . Can u help me to factory reset seating
I hate when dealer put their name emblem on back of a brand new car. The first thing when done negotiating I will tell the dealer if they wants to stick any crap on back of my new car they need to pay for advertisement or remove it. NO FREE LUNCH IN AMERICA.

My dad used to insist that they not install the dealer metal emblem. Sometimes they complied, sometimes they "forgot" and put it on. Friend has a 2013 and the dealer sticker is peeling off and it looks awful, & makes the dealer look cheap.

This doesn't work on a 2013 Sienna, when you hold the rear liftgate button down the door just closes.
..nor on a 2011 Estima.

I have a 2016 forunner but it's not power liftgate can I still adjust it ?
