Would love to have it but can't justify spending that much money.
Maybe in a few years when the price comes down.
My suspension would be set up properly for a change...
While I am on the topic would a coil shock be the better option if you are not good with suspension set up?

The electronic suspension seems interesting. Will have to see how long it will take to trickle down to average consumer prices. We aren't quite there yet with electronic shifting either.
No matter how strong the lock shackle is, if the lock itself is shit. Will need LPL review.

Does the Flight Attendant also up the rebound dampening after a period of zero-G? It will help you not bounce off your bike after a big jump.

I hardly ever go out on a ride without my bike multitool-the (I’m assuming) old Topeak Survival Gearbox. It’s a tiny collection of allen keys, a few Torx keys, tire lever… the works. The box, small as it was, weighs a ton compared to multitools, but it gets the job done-even at home.

Newest favorite tools are anything from Abbey Bike Tools or Efficient Velo Tech . Recently picked up the Decade chain tool from Abbey and two of their custom 4 way wrenches .
From EVT I picked up a nipple loader tool for wheel building and one of their inflators with a built in pressure gauge for my compressor.

    • @laurentp89

The fork has the control module, which is the brain of the operation, so yeah, but you will probably still need de cadence sensor in the cranks.

  • @ltrtg13

A posh hammer like the titanium hammer. You don't need. But just because you don't need it. Doesn't you don't want it. Just like electronic shifting, clipless pedals and more the one bike. And the last part from someone with 4 bikes. One road with crap (rim) brakes, one hybrid with disc brakes for what ever I want to do, one 27.5 inch wheel full sus waiting new pivot kit. and a 29er hardtail. Which I actually ride the most.

Hey Doddy Awesome video mate and the new Sram/RockShox Flight Attendant range is a great piece of tech which will improve and will be a part of the future MTB scene but it's price is pretty high but considering the fact that it is a new piece of suspension tech which can change the firmness (compression) according to what you are doing (coasting, pedaling, climbing, descending etc...)and pairs with AXS system it might be worth it(Especially for those who already have AXS ).
    What do you think DODDY?

I think my new favorite tool has to be Super B's cartridge BB tool. I was re-greasing some BB cups for a customer and I'll never buy a park BB tool (for cartridge BB's) again. they put a pin in the middle of the tool that fits into the end of your spindle where your crank bolt goes. I never felt it slip once! otherwise the list goes
    Truing stand
    3-way allen
    park HXS 1.2
stubby 3/8" rachet and 107mm Wera Zyklop hex bits

Stiffness reducers are the same as not using torque caps, but with the advantage of being able to mount a wheel as easily as a Fox fork.
A good bit of marketing encouraging you to go with torque caps if possible.

true, but it opens up the suspension in rough terrain and closes it when your peddaling to make you more efficient. but yes I agree the price tag is rediculous, the canyon spectral comes in at just over 12k AUD and the cheapest car here is 15k AUD (suzuki swift) just mad

    • @colinjohnson5515
      @colinjohnson5515 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Yes. Totally. Looks like you have a 32T front chainring and a 10 speed cassette with 11-46T.
Moving to a chain ring with more teeth will increase your top speed at the expense of hill climbing.
There are wide ratio cassettes available but most start at 11 teeth so you probably want to combine changes to both front and rear.

  • @dubplateriddim

Tbh wireless anything on an MTB is really solving a problem that doesn't exist in my opinion. Especially for those who are not competing. Enough can go wrong out on the trail, without stacking echelons of complexity; which essentially equate to points of failure. All for what? 2xs the price, so you can do a little less thinking and fiddling. It's like making a light weight carbon DH bike... just because you can doesn't mean you should.

What do you think of deliberately running a fork sucked down? You could do it if you had a 170 mm travel fork but wanted to run it at 160 mm, for example. I guess getting the pressures right would be the most challenging part of the setup, but it would give you a larger negative air chamber which could have performance benefits. #AskGMBNTech

Can someone please tell me what specification battery the relay is powered by on the Monarch RT3 fitted to my Lapierre. Ei:shock Battery died and no information available on replacement. Infuriating.
