Hi, I’ve got a big question. I’m quite advanced, heavy (95 kg) and jumping and looking to backflip. I have a phantom 1080 that is my low wind, slow, easy finish foil. I have been pushing towards Eagle, SK8 and even Seven Seas. For example high aspect, but with them it seems all about the speed and glide in a downwind style. My question is should I ‘come back’ to Phantom S for freestyle? Presumably it is slower and lower glide, but better for boosting and getting going up again after landing? I’ve always associated Phantom with beginner foils, but is Phantom S the go to foil for freestyle?

Nice video. Is the 940s or 980 better for Kite Foiling in lighter winds?

Guys, how much easier would the Phantom 1480 be to dock start (drop and jump) compared to the Seven Seas 1400? Much difference in low end lift?

Has anyone tried the naish hover ultra carbon board with a phantom foil?

    Thanks for this interesting review!
Myself i do kite foiling on some basic level. My weight is 75kg.
If i want to start winging in downwind/wave discipline (e.g. some carving, pumping), in winds of 16-24kts, what would be a good wing to start? Perhaps a 1280? Or that would be too small and 1480 is a go to? Thank you.

thanx for the review! but do the phantom series make sense for winging @ a lake? like garda lake. we have winds ranging from 10 to 30 knots. what would you recommend? cheers!

Hi mate the Phantom is a perfect all rounder. The smaller size handels strong wind and great for both turns and jumps. bigger sizes are more for light wind days

@@kountchev1 i Would say a big foil for you is phantom 1280 and a good foil to improve your riding is the phantom s840 😊

Nice review guys! Did you ever test a phantom S with the DW210 Backwing for winging? Does it make sense?

Too many options...really confusing also because how can you try them??? At the end you need 4-5 front wings and 3 fusolage!!!!!!! you need to spend 10 grands !!!! hahahhahahhha
