    Excellent video again, thanks for helping me decide between SK8, Seven Seas and Eagles.

    i have the sevenseas 1000, , tried the phantom 1480 early on, and struggling a little with buying the eagle. You have tried the phantom, eagle and sevenseas and skate. If i choose the seven seas it should be for the glide? which one would you recommend . love your channel....... Pete

    hi Tucker, here´s the holiday question: Image your luggage had space for 2 foil-planes, 1 mast. Your weight is 82 kg and you can expect anything from 8 to 30kts, 0 to 2m waves. Skill level is intermediate-advanced. What combi from the f-one range would you pick?

    • @jensomatdreitausend
      @jensomatdreitausend 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I´d go for an eagle and and a Sk8 - but which ones?

    • @MACkiteboarding
      @MACkiteboarding  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jensomatdreitausend It would depend on my board and wing options but I'd most likely pick the sk8 1080 and eagle 890. - Tucker

    Coming from big and low aspect foils I’m gonna bite the bullet and go all the way high aspect. I’m 96kg without wetsuit and mostly foil on lakes with small chop. Want more speed and glide.
    Do you think the 1090 would give me enough lowend, and does this foil work well with the f-one rocket boards? Want to be able to foil around from 13/14 kts- and have a 6m nitro to go with that.
    Hopefully can help me out with some advice. Cheers!

      Hi Timo. I'm 93kg myself and I'm in love with the 990 for light to moderate winds then jump to the 890 and 790 for thegood days. The 1090 should work well for you. There will be a learning curve so be sure to ride it will powered for the first few sessions to help adjust. Tucker

    Hi Tucker! Again a nice vid! Can you give me an advice? I’m 70kg dry. Mostly inland lake riding with a lot of light wind days. But got the 8.0 CWC ;-).
    I love freefly on little bumps and wind waves. And going fast with my friends and a little jump in a while. Im hesitating between 1090 and 990.
    Normally Kujira 1440 and 1095. But want the extra glide!!!
    Suggestions? Thank you so much!

      Sorry I missed this. I'd go 990. I'm 205lbs and find no need to go any larger. -Tucker

    Can you go a bit smaller for prone foiling medium sizes waves? eg im 90kg could I use the 790 or am I better going the 890? still want to be able to turn well and connect waves, cheers 🤙

    • @MACkiteboarding
      @MACkiteboarding  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd go 890 for sure, maybe even 990. You need some decent speed since this foil is thin. Seven Seas 1000 might be a better choice. -Tucker

    Hi Tucker, following your advise I've bought a Sk8 950 and I'm super happy and really satisfied by the new foil. I use it in the 12 knts up range and now I'm searching for a F-one foil to use in light wind days (8-12 knts) and quite flat water pairing with my 6m d-Lab and Fanatic 5.0. (my wheight is 80 kg). Which size of Eagle is better for me? 1290 or 1090 ? thanks

    • @MACkiteboarding
      @MACkiteboarding  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For light winds, I'd go for the 1290

      Do you think the Jam 1600 could be better for light wind in 8-10 knots? I'm afraid that with the big span of 128 cm I cannot curve easly...or jibe with a decent angle of the board without breaching...Can you tell me the main differences between eagle 1290 and Jam 1600?? Which one takeoff first? Wich one is easy to ride and turn easy?? Thanks😊

      Yes, it's amazing@@gianlorenzosisti . Crazy low end lift and still decent turns.

    Hi Tucker, where do you put the 990 in the mast track? Also, do you have to shim the mast to avoid nose down when riding? Thank you

    • @MACkiteboarding
      @MACkiteboarding  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I generally put the mast just behind my back foot but sometimes find my back foot a little more "over the mast" at slower speeds in a hard turn. No, I don't find any need to shim these foils. -Tucker

    Hi Tucker. Love your videos. Thanks to a previous review I got the Slingshot PTM 926. Rode it 4 weeks in Paracuru Brazil and had a blast! However the best riders were on F-one foils. One guy my size (65 kg) was riding the HM 890. Which foil in the Slingshot line-up could compare in speed and glide?

    • @MACkiteboarding
      @MACkiteboarding  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question Marc and I've been riding both the 890 and Phantasm foils a lot this year so I've got an answer for you.... You'll want to look at the PTM930 (950cmsq) or PTM825 (758cmsq). The Eagle 890 kind of falls between those too. If you haven't already, upgrade the stab to the 325. -Tucker

    A bit off topic, I’m riding the same board but didn’t put the foot straps on yet. I notice you ride with the back foot forward of the strap. I would be the same, my front foot is bang on where the strap will go but if I move back foot far enough back to be in the strap position it feels really weird. Do you ever use both straps?

    • @MACkiteboarding
      @MACkiteboarding  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Very rarely do I use a back foot strap. I do like the foot hook for jumps but I don't use a strap because I like to move my back foot more actively for more performance, comfort, and ease of use. -Tucker

    Hi. Thanks for the video. You sounded very exited about this setup. What wing and stabiliser do you think is comparable from Sabfoil? Are you enjoying the new Slick SLS? What size were you using in this video? Regards.

    • @MACkiteboarding
      @MACkiteboarding  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Loving the SLS, you'll see that video post in the next couple of days with all the juicy details. For a similar Sabfoil, I'd suggest the 1000 or 800 with the 370 stab. - Tucker
